A grill that you really enjoy visiting. The food is very tasty 😋 The atmosphere could be a little nicer and more comfortable.

We spent part of our Christmas party here and were really excited. Starting with the warm welcome, through the consistently very attentive and friendly service, to the MEGA food, everything was 100% perfect. In particular, the main courses such as steak and saddle of venison were so well prepared that they were second to none. Thank you very much for your hospitality! We will definitely come back.

The tavern was very busy, service was quick and very friendly, the food took a little longer than expected for fast food, but was really tasty and the prices were fair. The ambience is, let's say, 'quaint', but there's something about it.

Recommendation! Great atmosphere, very nice staff, who are on the ball and always see when something is missing or the glass is empty. Whether you order food on site or home, everything is TOP! The last two times we even got a liqueur on the house, where else can you get something like that? We have reserved a table again and will remain regular customers if the quality remains this way!

The restaurant is idyllically located and has a lovely, peaceful indoor and outdoor area. The asparagus for lunch was excellent, good Westphalian cuisine! Thank you for the wonderful service!

Best pizza in a long time. I was there for the first time, you feel picked up because they value good food. Rarely have I eaten such delicious dough and the tomato sauce on the pizza was a dream.

A really great ambience where you immediately feel at home. I've been there many times for breakfast. The cake stand for 2 is great. Nothing is missing. The lunch dishes are very tasty, but a bit too little... The pulled pork was absolutely amazing. I've never eaten anything so delicious. I think it would be nice if there were weekly plans for lunch.

Went there for lunch at Christmas. Very friendly service and great service. Food was great and sometimes other dishes or compositions! Open kitchen is a matter of perspective...

We had arranged to meet up here for schnitzel with friends who already knew the restaurant. A nice country pub with bowling alleys, indoor dining and delicious food. We ordered Jägerschnitzel with fries, croquettes and salad. The drinks came quickly. Since there was a lot going on, it took a little longer to eat. But then there was the biggest and tastiest Jägerschnitzel with fries that I've ever had on my plate! (And there were very, very many) Salad is great too. Service (boss) super friendly. You'll be happy to go there again! We were there again this evening 01/27/24. Everything was great as always. Unfortunately we have learned that the restaurant will be closed from February 18th, 2024. A successor is not yet in sight. A sad news. We wish you all the best for your retirement!

This formerly well-run hotel and restaurant lives only from its past. The senior manager can't seem to be persuaded to hand over the scepter to a younger man and is alienating the guests, including us, with his disgusting manner. People are already talking about it openly in Steinhagen. Too bad.

Hello....I've known Gerhold for a very long time...still as a village pub...it's a great bistro with a beer garden....food is great....only the kitchen is too small...so you have to wait longer for the food when it's full....that's why only four stars...but absolutely recommended....😎🤘
