Taverne Restaurant & Bar in Halle (Westf.)

The tavern was very busy, service was quick and very friendly, the food took a little longer than expected for fast food, but was really tasty and the prices were fair. The ambience is, let's say, 'quaint', but there's something about it.

We enjoyed going to the tavern over twenty years ago. And not much has changed since then. I mean that mostly in a good way. The food is still very tasty and at fair prices. The service is always very attentive. The ambience could use some refreshing. It still looks like it did 20 years ago 🙃 But all in all very good.

We can highly recommend the tavern. We stayed overnight nearby and after our positive experiences on Burger Monday, we reserved a table for Schnitzel Tuesday and were not disappointed. The service is very friendly and attentive. Our food was prepared quickly and deliciously. Unfortunately we can't get close, otherwise we would definitely be here more often 👍🏻

I can't really agree with the other positive experiences. We were there on Friday and both had a burger. The only tasty thing about it was the bun and the sauce. The meat patty is huge, but it looks rather unappetizing and doesn't taste particularly good either. The Texas burger had wobbly bacon on it (not crispy). The cheese was certainly not a tasty cheddar or something similar, but a very, very light cheese that didn't taste like anything. The highlight was the ketchup on the patty...The fries were okay, the service was friendly. Overall, the food was far too expensive for the quality offered. A burger with fries like this shouldn't cost more than €10 and not €14.20. P.S: In response to the operator's feedback: For us, the whole snack was quality and that's why I wrote that it shouldn't cost more than €10. I stand by that. The furnishings, paying at the counter, the atmosphere, etc. all suggest that it is a snack bar, so the price shouldn't be at restaurant level. We don't know that there are no homemade patties for such expensive burgers. I can already tell fast food from a restaurant, but thank you for the instruction! Incidentally, not everything was eaten, the bacon was not eaten as described because it didn't taste good.

You have to form your own opinion about the ambience inside - 4 rooms are each great in their own right. Where you feel comfortable. I'm going there. Food service, everything was great. Convince yourself.

The staff is very nice and the restaurant is dog friendly. Otherwise a lot of points for improvement. Save Ribes not freshly fried, buns from the hamburger very hard. The enjoyment of eating becomes significantly less when you look around - unfortunately it is not clean (to make it clear, not everything has to be new - if it is kept well clean). In general, I'm unfortunately very disappointed.

We had a delicious meal there yesterday afternoon. Nice service. Rustic atmosphere, with a beer garden. The waitress gave us the tip to walk from the tavern to the OWL Arena, about 10 minutes; we could leave the car there. Highly recommended. 👍

We had dinner in this restaurant this evening. Clear drink recommendation: Pinocchio We had the Swiss Schnitzel and the Bulldogs Burger. Both were super tasty, and the waiting time was more than okay. Special request was implemented, therefore +1 star - -1 star unfortunately the schnitzel was slightly too dark. We still enjoyed it very much, and if we're in the area again, we'll be happy to come back!

Ambiance is fine and clean and enough seats. Service is good and not intrusive and very nice. Food tasted very good and a great price/performance ratio had a burger and something super good and plentiful. All in all top would definitely eat here again and can only recommend it. The only disadvantage is the parking options. Unfortunately there is no dedicated parking space, which should definitely not stop you from visiting. IT'S WORTH IT

Local with a relaxed atmosphere and good value for money. The waitresses are friendly and food/drinks usually come quite quickly. The quality of the food is not star cuisine, the menu is far too extensive for that, but it's perfectly fine for the price. Football is also often shown.

Das Essen war sehr gut und die Bedienung sehr angenehm und freundlich

Wir waren am Schnitzel-Dienstag in der Taverne und wurden nicht enttäuscht. Preis/Leistung ist wirklich TOP !!! Champignon- und Pfeffer-Schnitzel mit American Fries waren gut portioniert und sehr schmackhaft. Die Servicekraft war noch neu, aber sehr freundlich und fix. Insgesamt ein netter Ort zum Verweilen. Nichts Gehobenes, aber mit Freunden lässt sich's hier echt gut aushalten.

Von außen nicht gerade einladend, aber so gut haben wir schon lange nicht mehr gegessen.Das Geflügel Bombay und die Spareribs waren erste Klasse. Dort würde ich immer wieder essen gehen.

Es un lugar excelente para comer o beberte una cerveza, con una estetica muy alemana y muy diferente a todo lo que hay por españa, nos atendieron super bien muy amables y simpaticos, hablan muy bien ingles y hasta una de las camareras sabia un poco español que fue un detalle muy chulo, la comida esta buenisima y aunque parezca cara, no lo es, los platos son enormes y seguramente te cueste comertelo solo, asi que si eres español y no sabes donde comer, te lo recomiendo.

Waren vorm Santianokonzert dort. Mein Essen OK aber Rindersteak meiner Frau eher durch als Medium gebraten. Service mit steigender Zahl an Gästen überfordert. Haben uns aber sagen lassen bei weniger betrieb wohl sehr gut.

Schnitzel-Taverne mit Spiegeleiern, geschmorten Zwiebeln und krossem Speck! Dazu American Fries mit Aioli. Getränk? Klar Altbier Erdbeerbowle. Passt!

Ich liebe es hier. Das Essen ist großartig, der Service hervorragend. Egal wie voll es ist, man wird immer zeitnah bedient und nie hat jemand schlechte Laune oder ist gestresst. Ich gehe gerne mit Freunden und oder Familie dort hin und jedesmal fühlen wir ins sehr wohl. Klare Empfehlung von meiner Seite.

Gemütliche Gastronomie mit gutem Service. Wir waren um ca. 18 Uhr vor Ort und konnten wegen des schlechten Wetters nicht draußen sitzen. Wenn alle Tische innen belegt sind, ist es von der Geräuschkulisse schon etwas grenzwertig aber das liegt ja an den Gästen.

Netter und schneller Service, die Spareribs waren ein Traum, total zart und gut gewürzt. Nicht zu viel aber auch nicht zu wenig ,genau richtig und die American Fries waren sehr knusprig frisch und lecker.
