At first, I was skeptical, but after the explanation of how to order, my skepticism subsided. The food was truly delicious; I've never had better burgers. The prices are also very reasonable, in my opinion, and I can definitely recommend this place. I was very pleasantly surprised.

The concept takes a little getting used to, but the food was absolutely delicious! It's a self-service restaurant, reminiscent of a modern snack bar. You order yourself on a slip of paper, go to the cashier, and have your order entered. You get drinks from a refrigerator. If you want, you can take a glass. You get a pager that rings when the food is ready. Then you pick it up from the food counter. You keep the pager, though, as it stores the bill. You also clear your dishes yourself, and to pay, you go to the cashier and hand over the pager. Then the bill is calculated, and you share which drinks and how many you consumed.

If I want a burger, I'll only go there. It's delicious, the prices are reasonable, and the burgers are really big.

We're actually from the Ruhr area and were visiting Halle. After we'd done everything, we wanted something to eat before heading home. Lured by the good reviews, we came here and weren't disappointed. The place is definitely recommended, but on weekends, a reservation would be advisable; the number of guests speaks for itself. Friendly staff and delicious food—we'll be back if we're in the area.

Loose burgers with our own Grillwerk sauce

We went there based on a recommendation. The recommendation was spot on. Let me start at the very beginning. A great snack bar/restaurant in the old train station in Künsebeck. It's self-service. What we noticed was a small wooden box on the table with cutlery, a notepad, and a pen. This allows orders to be written down at the table, and only one person needs to go to the counter to order. We were also pleasantly surprised by the gigantic selection of drinks. The drinks fridges are also self-service. One minor criticism: water bottles could be a bit larger. But that's nitpicking at a very high level. It didn't take long before the pager rang, and our food was ready for pickup on the counter. We had burgers and schnitzel with sides. All very tasty, but a bit too much. The sauces are made in-house, except for the mayo and ketchup. The burger buns come from a nearby bakery, and the meat from a regional producer—you can't ask for more. We're happy to pay a euro more for that. You completely won us over with your concept and the food. We'll be back. And if you like delicious burgers, schnitzel, and fries, this is the place for you. ❤️

A definite recommendation! The food was almost enough for two people (a burger and fries might be too much for kids). The ingredients are fresh, and it was prepared quickly. There's plenty of parking. There's also an outside seating area. Accessibility is manageable with one or two steps. The restrooms are clean, and with two women's restrooms, two stand-up basins, and one for men to sit in, it's also a good place to visit.

We went there spontaneously yesterday. You hear a lot of positive things in a roundabout way. But what we discovered yesterday was actually hard to top. There were four of us there - three schnitzels with potato wedges and a burger, also with wedges. You blew us away. The schnitzels are amazing and the burger was perfect. We didn't even need any sauce for the schnitzel because the braised onions made it superfluous. Wonderfully juicy with a fantastic breading made this an experience our palates won't soon forget. The same goes for the burger. This year's price-performance winner, an unbeatable dining experience. The atmosphere is rustic but harmonious. We will definitely see each other again and tell lots of friends about it. Keep making so many people happy with a meal, because that is your mission.

We've been eating here for many years and always enjoy it. The owner, a chef, is always coming up with new creations, which you can order as the burger of the week in addition to the regular menu. We especially like sitting outside in the small beer garden when the weather's nice. There's a wide selection of drinks, including unusual beers and sodas. You order your food at the counter and receive a pager. You can get your drinks yourself from the drinks counter. There's a great deal of trust here, even if there's another way to pay. People who complain in their reviews about not being served simply don't understand the principle of this restaurant and should go somewhere else. Precisely because there's no waiter service in the usual sense, the prices can remain moderate, which I think is a great thing. It is and will remain our regular haunt.

We're not from around here. We were there a year ago, by chance. The place is a bit hidden. The staff was very friendly, and the food was ready quickly. The burgers are homemade and incredibly delicious. 4 drinks, 3 burgers, and two fries, €50. Totally fine.

Grillwerk 2.0 is a great place. It doesn't necessarily suit my taste visually; it feels a bit bare inside when it's not busy, and it's not entirely clear when side rooms are open and available. Otherwise, they put a lot of effort into it, with a small light and a plant on each table, which is well done. The food is well-made, but a bit too varied for my taste, and it could be put together more thoughtfully. I recently had a burger that had schnitzel instead of bread. The schnitzel was good, the burger patty was very good, but the sauces weren't enough. Meat needs sauce, and if I'm serving a lot of meat, then more sauce should be added than with a regular burger. They can do better. My daughter's Italian burger was really great in itself, but the arugula was completely overdone. If it could be fine-tuned a bit, it would be really great. All in all, it's a clear recommendation, and at comparatively reasonable prices. Feel free to try it.

If burgers had a kingdom, this restaurant would be the throne! I just returned from a culinary adventure that sent my taste buds into seventh heaven. The burgers here are so juicy I almost need a swimming ring around my waist to support them! The cheese melts so perfectly I almost thought it had its own Instagram account. And the fries? Oh, the fries! They're so crispy they give a little concert while I'm eating them—I swear I've heard them called "crackling and popping"! The service was so friendly I almost thought I was at a family gathering rather than a restaurant. The servers were dishing out more smiles than the burgers on the plates! If you're looking for the perfect burger that will make you feel like you're floating in heaven (or at least on a very comfortable cloud), this is the place! I can't wait to come back and start my next burger expedition.

A really great place for people who like handmade burgers. They also have schnitzels that I haven't tried yet, but they're certainly very promising, because you can hear knocking noises from the kitchen, indicating that the schnitzels are hammered before cooking. The clientele is mixed, and the team is still quite young, but they know their craft. The fries also seem to be handmade and taste delicious. The place is a disused train station concourse, very cozy. Top location; "thank goodness" there are still restaurateurs who don't rely solely on frozen food and call themselves restaurants. It's been a long time since I've eaten something as good as at Grillwerk! The employees are top, there is a great atmosphere there. Is worth every visit!

Food was top, totally delicious and recommended. But when you're there for the first time, you wait a long time to order. The reason: it is very difficult to find information that you have to place your order at the counter. You won't be told that when you're led to the table. So we waited about 10-15 minutes until we found out that you could order at the counter. You then feel a bit alone. The food is highly recommended, the service can be improved.

I've picked up takeaway burgers there several times. Pre-ordering is simple and uncomplicated, possible online or by telephone. The burgers taste really great and are great value for money! The ambience on site fits the concept, it is tidy and clean, the staff is friendly and helpful. An absolute enrichment for Halle/Künsebeck, I hope it stays around for a long time :)

The staff calmly explained to me what different sauces there were on the burger. It became the burger of the week... wild garlic burger... super tasty. If I'm in the area again, I'd love to come by again. Assuming it's not Monday or Tuesday...it's a day off there.

First of all...the burger and the fries 🍟 were great. You order at the counter and you take the drinks out of the fridge yourself. In our case the order was brought to the table. Mayo and ketchup are available at your own discretion. 👍 The staff are very friendly and the price is right. I will definitely come back.

Nice shop in the old Künsebeck train station. There is no service at all, orders are ordered and picked up at the counter, drinks and glasses are available in/near the refrigerators. There's a good selection of burgers, but without any fancy hipster stuff like avocado or anything like that. The patties are obviously homemade and are a good size and thickness, the inside being medium as standard. There are different sauces (depending on the burger), but there could have been a little more. The buns (different, again depending on the burger) are delicious, but *maybe* not homemade. The huge schnitzel consisted of two pieces that probably came from the deep fryer, they were evenly browned and crispy all over, tender on the inside. The fries were the best I've had in a long time: nice and soft and meaty on the inside, slightly, but not overly, crispy on the outside. Burgers come without fries as standard, but they were included with the schnitzel as well as a small side salad of rocket, peppers and tomatoes. If you like it really meaty, order the Dorfkönig burger, the bun halves of which have been replaced by schnitzel...

Unfortunately it is not possible to give a minus star for the service. Atmosphere as if everything had been bought at a flea market and thrown away. I won't go there again because I was under the impression that I would end up having to wash the dishes myself.

Haben dieses Lokal durch Zufall gefunden, da andere entweder um 18 Uhr schon geschlossen oder sehr gehobene Preise hatten. Oder nur mit Reservierung geöffnet hatten. Grillwerk 2.0war unser 5. Anlauf ein Abendessen zu bekommen. Es war ein absoluter Traum🤩. Das Lokal ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet. Die Bedienung war super nett und das Essen sehr lecker. Wir waren zu zweit da. Die Portionen sind groß und man wird locker satt. Einfach super!

Ich war hier nun das zweite Mal und bin einfach begeistert von den Burgern. Das Burgerpatty ist toll gewürzt und schön saftig gebraten. Einfach lecker. Habe schon oft woanders Burger gegessen und wurde geschmacklich oft enttäuscht, hier aber nicht 😃 Die Auswahl ist toll und es gibt immer einen "Specialburger" der nicht auf der Karte steht. Beim nächsten Mal werde ich diesen bestimmt probieren. Macht weiter so liebes Grillwerk Team! 🙂

Es ist ganz nett eingerichtet nur das dort keine Bedienung ist finde ich etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Das Essen ist sehr gut besonders die Pommes. Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so gute gegessen. Ich hatte noch einen Salat, er war gut aber mir würde es gut gefallen wenn man etwas Brot dazu bekommen würde.

Absolut schlechter Service! Es ist nicht Hip oder Cool diese Pieper zu benutzen, wir sind in Halle/Künsebeck und nicht im Loom. Ist schon unverschämt wenn ich als einzige Person in einem kleinen Restaurant bin und mein Essen von der Theke holen soll. Dieses kleine bisschen Service sollte schon sein! Außerdem absolut unpünktlich bei Bestellungen per Telefon. Das Essen ist ganz okay, kann man Mal machen wenn man keine Lust hat weit weg zu fahren. Anreise aus anderen Städten würde ich für diesen Laden nicht empfehlen, ist halt ein Burger der nicht besonders ist.
