No authentic Thai cuisine! Be careful, something is offered as Thai food here. We were there today and took food with us. We ordered n2 and p3 and got soup with frozen vegetables. We wanted to complain about it and were cheekily told that the photos were wrong and we always cook like that. No criticism was accepted and our complaint was also rejected.
If you want to eat Thai food, you better not go there.
Restaurant Maas Timpert – A successful evening that will be remembered
On January 17th, 2025 we visited the Maas Timpert restaurant with a voucher from our children, which was already two years old - and it was an absolute hit! If we had known how great the food, ambience and service would be there, we would have come much sooner.
It was easy to book an appointment online, and the comfortable seating ensured a pleasant start to the evening. We were thrilled with the starters: baked cauliflower with truffles and farmer's bread with herb cream were simply excellent. We particularly liked that the starters were designed to be shared, so we were able to try several variations.
The main courses were also a delight: the fillet steak was perfectly fried, with a great roasted aroma and delicious chimichurri. The corn poularde with fregola is also impressive, which we can also highly recommend. The evening came to a successful conclusion with a walnut parfait and an affogato espresso - even if the taste of the dessert didn't quite reach the level of the starters and main courses.
The service was attentive, friendly and always available without being intrusive. We found it particularly positive that the prices were absolutely reasonable given the fresh preparation and quality.
A small suggestion for improvement: A drinks menu on the internet would be helpful in order to be able to make a better selection before ordering.
Overall, a fantastic evening that left nothing to be desired. The Maas Timpert is highly recommended and we will definitely come back!
