Basically good, but what else can I describe in detail here!? I have described my personal impressions by December 2024. But Google's algorithm doesn't like that anymore. Even with positive reviews of 4 and 5 stars, it accuses me of saying that my perceptions violate the guidelines and are viewed and prosecuted as slander. For example, the description of a supermarket already comes up: "A wide range of products is offered, the parking lot is quite cramped, the shelves are tightly packed, and at peak times the queues at the checkouts get very long." according to the algorithm into the “defamation” category. And then Google doesn't explain to me exactly what my violations are, especially since such personal assessments haven't been a problem for years. So what else can I write here if Google keeps turning off reviews so vaguely and not answering questions?! How can I do justice to the location, the service provider, the offer or the product. Dear users and dear operators, with the valid Google algorithm I cannot help you with a qualified rating. :-( 😞 February 2025

We ordered pasta dishes; we've ordered them several times before. We get chicken instead of ham. We've never had to pay extra. This time we had to pay an extra €3 at the door. I think that's cheeky; if I'd wanted chicken as well, I would understand. Ham is more expensive per kilo than chicken. That's how you lose customers. That was the last time for now. I never thought they'd get so greedy.

We received a warm welcome. As it was Easter, there was a special Easter menu, which sounded very appealing. Every course (including the amuse-gueule  and the petits fours) were very attractively served and plated. Many courses had very subtle flavour combinations. Despite the delightful variation in textures in most of these dishes, they tended to come across as slightly bland. Especially in comparison to those courses, which were well balanced and bursting with flavour. The size of the portions was generally too large for a 6-course menu, which made it difficult for all of us to finish the evening. In retrospect, we should have ordered the 4-course menu, but then we would have missed the highlights. The front-of-house service was friendly and efficient. It was a one-woman show on that evening, which no doubt made it a marathon. With a little tweaking, I am sure, the experience could be turned into something over-whelming.

Mankoshti is a great address for Syrian specialties in Dortmund. The Manakish and the Foul in particular are really tasty and are freshly prepared. The original Italian pizza oven gives everything a special taste. The quality is great, the owner is friendly and you just feel like you're in good hands. If you're looking for good, honest food, you should definitely stop by here!

We had lunch here, even though there were only two of us, the service was simply good! The food was fresh, plentiful and the service was very friendly. It was also well attended, with lots of walk-in customers taking their food to go. This was the best meal in the area so far and I really recommend it. Top price performance, keep it up! If we spend time in the area again we will definitely come back!
