The ambience is first class. A small, very fine menu with many special delicacies makes you look forward to the meal just by reading it. This anticipation was more than fulfilled. All the dishes were terrific. A big compliment to the entire team.

A nice bike ride and then a nice cold drink - what could be better!! Just remember to bring change as the drinks machine doesn't accept bills!!

Welcome refreshment on the Wittekindsweg. The only stop with food on the long-distance hiking trail between Bad Essen and Rödinghausen. The innkeeper is very relaxed, the café is rustic. Despite the best weather, not very busy on a summer weekend, there were still enough places available, both in the sun and in the shade.

Früher war ich Stammgast bei diesem Stammtisch, aber die letzten Male kam immer etwas dazwischen und ich konnte nicht teilnehmen. Deshalb war ich heute froh, dass ich endlich Zeit hatte an diesem schönen Stammtisch teilzunehmen und die neue Location kennenzulernen. Hier soll alles viel besser organisiert sein und ich war schon ganz gespannt. Schon bei der Ankunft wurde es schwer ein Parkplatz zu finden, denn jeder Raum war belegt. Trotz des vielen Stress blieb die Bedienung freundlich und schließlich wächst das Gras nicht schneller, wenn man daran zieht. Die Wartezeit auf das bestellte Essen war somit etwas länger, aber zum Stammtisch kommt man ja nicht wegen des guten Essens. Ich hatte eine Kürbissuppe, hier hätte ich mir für den Preis ein wenig mehr gewünscht. Dafür konnte sie geschmacklich voll überzeugen und auch die Gerichte meiner Tischnachbarn sahen sehr ansprechend aus. Vielleicht habe ich beim nächsten Stammtisch mehr Hunger und kann diese auch probieren, ich freue mich schon darauf.

Very tasty pizza and pasta. A small pizzeria that is second to none, we can really recommend pizza and pasta. Unfortunately we have to drive a long way (approx. 15km), it's a shame that she isn't around the corner from us. Next time we will definitely eat there too. Finally a pizzeria that also has dips (garlic...etc.). The pizza is not drowned in cheese, topped with fresh ingredients, fresh mushrooms, etc...not layered and well-suited. Simply delicious...... We celebrated our wedding here and were more than thrilled by the charm of the hall. Only the location is rented. You have to take care of catering etc. yourself. The owner is very helpful and friendly. Implements wishes regarding seating, also takes care of drinks and, if desired, covers, etc. Price performance fits here 100%.

Very tasty food and great service

We were greeted very warmly and felt welcome straight away. The festive menu was varied; there could only have been one vegetarian main course. But thanks to the flexibility of the kitchen, that's no problem. All in all, highly recommended!
