We had the opportunity to eat at this cute café-bistro located in Bad Bentheim Castle. The atmosphere was really nice and the toilets were very clean. However, we had a problem with gluten-free nutrition. It was a bit difficult for us that gluten-free options were not specified on the menu. When we consulted the waiter, they said, "Tell us what you want to eat and we will tell you whether it is gluten-free or not." We made our choice and were told it was gluten free. After the food arrived at our table, the person in charge looked at our table for a long time and saw that we still had not started eating. He came and said that the food was not actually gluten-free. This made us really sad because it can pose a serious health risk for someone with a gluten allergy. We appreciate the kind staff and nice atmosphere, but need to be more careful about gluten-free diet. This kind of precision is crucial for the safety of customers.

Always super friendly and delicious dishes

After walking around the village we came across this restaurant. We didn't make a wrong choice with that. The food was delicious. The schnitzels were very tasty. Exactly what we had in mind. Not cheap but very good in taste. Dutch speaking waitress. In our opinion, a typical German café-restaurant. After dinner we had a drink at the bar. Very nice establishment if you are looking for something to eat and have a nice drink.

Beautiful location, on a ridge, with beautiful views. Cold beer and cocktails and simple menu.

Very cozy restaurant with several floors. The service is very friendly and quick. We felt very comfortable. The food was very tasty. The meat was nice and juicy. The starter salad also tasted good. There is a good selection of drinks. The toilet was also clean. It's worth making a reservation, it can get busy.

I've been ordering pizza or kebab from them for years. I've noticed for a long time how bad the food is getting. The staff on the phone becomes unfriendly from time to time. Special requests are rarely taken into account. Outrageous prices and delivery takes longer than 1 hour every time. Wrong orders often arrive. I'm now thinking about whether I should order there or order from another pizzeria. Very unfortunate. Not what it used to be.

I made a reservation for lunch at the Landgasthof Niermann for my family today. We were there with our 2 children (3 months and 7 years old). The host of the house let us arrive quietly. Such a relaxed man and very accommodating, accurate as well as his staff. The food was also excellent and the restaurant is very comfortably furnished. The restaurant guests were very relaxed even though our 3-month-old son was louder at times. I and my family can only recommend this restaurant. You really felt welcome, even with the children. Thank you for this lovely evening, the first time the four of us had dinner as a family. 👌 Great
