Where do I begin? The food was simply fantastic. We both had schnitzel. It was really delicious. Flavorful sauces and delicious fries to go with it. As a free appetizer, we had homemade bread sticks with two sauces. Everyone who served us was very friendly and accommodating. The prices are very fair, especially considering the size of the portions. We both had huge portions. The whole restaurant has a very cozy feel. We sat on the terrace in beautiful weather and felt very comfortable there. If you're ever in Gildehaus, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit. ...even without hamburgers and the like on the menu. 😉

I really don't understand how this place gets such a high score. The owner charges sky-high prices. If you talk to him about it, he says his food is of good quality. Well, sorry, the döner is pre-cooked and doesn't come off the skewer, drinks are expensive, as if there is a gold rim on the glasses. His drinks come from the wholesaler here in Gildehaus, just like at other catering establishments, only here at Lucas it is more expensive. The owner also thinks he is something, and acts like a greedy oil sheik. A pushy man with a lot of talk. I also hear from staff that the man likes to employ young ladies. I won't say more. An over-the-top lunatic, sorry, I'll get my food somewhere else from now on.

Yes, very, visually it looked completely solid, but the food was fantastic. They started with bread and two dips on the house (very tasty), and the pizza was just as it should be: thin crust and absolutely delicious toppings. I'm in rehab in Bad Bentheim, and it's only about a 10-minute drive from there. Definitely recommend it.

Pizza OK; Pizzeria Schabernack is significantly better both in terms of taste and price. Only one star because the order placed over the phone was lost and simply not delivered. A pizza was missing from the replacement delivery. Unfortunately, a fiasco like this leaves a bitter aftertaste when you're very hungry.

We had a car breakdown and came across this restaurant by chance. The food was good and the staff were all very nice. We were able to stay there until we were towed away. Thank you for your hospitality!

I had already given the following review in 2024. She was online for some time and then suddenly whatever guidelines were violated. So here again Nice people, great service. It's nice that there is at least the option for a pizza on site. But pizza very below average. Soft pond, not fully baked. But pizza is thickly topped and very, very greasy. True to the motto: a lot helps a lot. Neither quality nor taste is convincing and unfortunately no connection to Italian pizza. Unusually had to stop after 3/4. Feeling full for hours. It's a shame, but definitely not again. No enrichment for the guild hall

Last week we had a delicious meal here twice at a very reasonable price. Warm bread from the house in advance. Very attractively decorated and a wide menu choice (not just pizzas)

Review for Pizzeria Luca – Friendly owner, but way too expensive Unfortunately, our visit to Pizzeria XYZ was a disappointment. The prices are absurd - €25 for a pizza that had good dough but was unfortunately completely soggy. The topping seemed bland and the taste of the whole thing was simply not convincing. The beer wasn't really cold, which greatly affected the enjoyment. Even more annoying, however, was the waitress, who constantly asked us if we would like something more to drink even though our glasses were still full - that was more intrusive than attentive. On the positive side, the order came to the table quickly and the owner was really friendly. But that alone doesn't justify the prices or the poor quality. Definitely not a place I would recommend!

We ordered by telephone and half an hour later we could pick up the (8) pizzas. Really delicious. We were helped by a very friendly gentleman. A very neat and cozy restaurant. Lovely to eat outside. Appetizer of sandwiches with house dipping sauce. The dishes are very well priced and the pizzas are very well topped. The Rigatoni Italiano with fresh salad was also delicious. Everything with fresh ingredients. Very friendly staff. .

After a 17 km hike, we spontaneously stopped at Lucas's. The pizzas were very tasty. Everyone was super warm and really nice. I thought it was really great that there was a lollipop and a Capri Sun to say goodbye to a child's birthday party. Luca's father is really great and I'm planning to be there for my birthday in August, even though I'm from Münster.

Had dinner here tonight with the 2 children. Friendly owner and service. Tasty food and good quantity, a pizza roll with house sauce in advance, and served quickly. Good price/quality ratio. Everything neat and clean, not very luxurious but certainly a big plus. A good experience for us!!

We used the pickup service yesterday. The food was ready on time, but right after my companion ate the shorama pan, he developed stomach problems. Unfortunately, my Lahmacun only contained a homeopathic dose of minced meat and the dough was burnt in places. The mozzarella salad, which I was particularly looking forward to, had far too little cheese and didn't taste like mozzarella either. Maybe we were just unlucky, but unfortunately I can't recommend it.

Cozy restaurant. The people who work there are extremely nice. You get a lot of food, it is tasty and not expensive at all. We received cheese rolls from the house in advance, which everyone really liked. Paid about 15 euros per person with several drinks.

We ate here again today to our complete satisfaction, with our family of 7 (young) adults in total. We have been coming here for years, always as a conclusion to a pleasant weekend in Bad Bentheim. The food is delicious, service is quick and super friendly, everything is clean, excellent value for money!! Beforehand we received delicious pizza rolls with sauce for free, a nice surprise. In short: highly recommended, thanks again team Lucas!!

Really unfriendly staff from the boss to the employees. The owner always looks at you like a car and the waitress doesn't even say hello or goodbye. Everyone in Guildhall knows how unfriendly you are. I wouldn't throw any more money at them.

We always like to order here, we like the pizzas best here in the Bad Bentheim, Gildehaus area. It's a shame that delivery isn't possible all day long, but it's understandable given the current work situation. In the app you can't set pickup before 6 p.m. so you have to call. Otherwise, people often forget to make the food spicy 😀 no matter we are otherwise always satisfied 😊, our food was once mixed up during a delivery and there was no replacement immediately Complications are what I call service.

Bestellung und Bezahlung per App möglich. Essen war zur mitgeteilten Abholzeit fertig. Kleine Panne mit einem Teil der Bestellung,wurde schnell korrigiert und zügig neu zubereitet. Essen hat uns allen gut geschmeckt.

Heerlijk gegeten voor een prima prijs! Voorafje kregen we van het huis (lekkere pizzabroodjes met saus), als hoofdgerecht hadden we pizza, ze waren allemaal erg goed! Bediening was snel en vriendelijk. Na het eten hebben we nog even een ijsje gehaald bij de buren, ijssalon Lucas. We komen graag nog eens terug!

Goede prijze kwaliteit en aardig personeel. Eenvoudig te bereiken vanaf het vakantiepark.

Door onze verhuizing naar Midden-Limburg zijn we meer dan een jaar niet in Gelhus/ Gildehaus geweest. Vandaag kwamen we weer in Twente: Het lekkerste eten werd direct na aankomst 'opgezocht'. Uiteraard kozen we Pizzeria Lucas.

Das Essen dort ist mega lecker, das Personal sehr nett und höflich sind sogar Respektvoll und Geduldig. Die Lieferzeiten sind echt schnell. Also gibts von mir gute 5 Sterne. Bin mega zufrieden 🫶🏻

Heerlijke pizza's, vriendelijke bediening. De eigenaar komt bij elke tafel uitgebreid een praatje maken.

Wir suchten spontan nach einer "italienischen Pizzeria" und landeten dort. Äusserlich sah es nett aus, auch innen sauber und gepflegt. Typisch italienische Speisen bestellt. Der Pizzaboden geht leider garnicht. Sieht und schmeckt eher nach Fertig TK Ware aus. Ein Schnitzel mit Beilage war vollkommen mit Sosse übergossen. Macht man das so ? Die Pizzabrötchen naja, wohl auch Fertig TK Ware. Pommes und frittierte Kartoffelscheiben waren gut. Wir wollen hier nicht meckern oder sind besonders anspruchsvoll, aber für ein Restaurante Italiano haben Wir mehr erwartet. Die Bedienung, eine Dame , war jedoch sehr freundlich.

Ist ein Holländer. Nach meiner Erfahrung können Holländer vieles, aber nicht kochen. Außer man frittiert mit viel Fett, da sind sie führend.
