Marija's in Bad Bentheim

The food was delicious. The place is super cozy and the girls are very attentive. One of the best places we've eaten since we arrived in Germany.

The first time with Marija in Bad Bentheim. Great entrée, very nice restaurant and a really top lady who welcomed me! I was able to choose a place, which is not always usual as a single guest... 👍 This lady was also today's service worker. Mega competent and super friendly! 😊 First, a beer 🍺 to quench your thirst. Well tapped! Ordered food and then delicious bread came with it, I mean, homemade herb butter and a delicious side salad. Definitely great! 😋 For the main course I had stroganoff, sliced ​​beef, with fried potatoes. I ordered them extra crispy!!! And unfortunately here was the mistake... The sliced ​​meat had been pre-produced for far too long and was therefore very fibrous and no longer tasty when fresh, and the fried potatoes were not at all crispy!!! It's a shame ☹️ But now another good thing: the Pinot Gris is great!!! 😋 Nevertheless, the kitchen has real potential and I'm having a lovely evening! 🙏

A big thank you to the guests and the entire team! We had an excellent dinner with 3 people. Our stay was accompanied by impeccable service. The meals were of high quality. Everything was prepared to perfection and in no way over-seasoned - as is unfortunately far too often the case in Germany. A good wine rounded things off. The icing on the cake was the music in the restaurant: Motown soul at its best

We went there on vacation and went there three days in a row because we liked the food so much. Here the cook cooks EVERYTHING herself and people, that doesn't happen often anymore. Excellent from starter to main course to dessert. The staff was very upscale, they have something! The ambience can't be beat either! You even have your own towels to dry your hands in the toilet. Een hele gezellige tuin , personeel zeer vriendelijk. 2 avonden gegeten heerlijk gegrilde baars, partner had de stroganof en tweede avond de pasta purple en de schweinsteak mit gorgonzola. Het waren stuk voor stuk heerlijke gerechten. Met mooi glas wijn. Ook de nagerechten top. Ik kan het een ieder aanraden.

Very nice and cozy restaurant with very good food! A place where you can enjoy your high-quality piece of meat or fish in peace. No crowded store where one tourist after another is processed. Staff very polite, friendly and willing to help. The terrace is the perfect place where you can end the evening with a glass of wine on warm summer evenings. We are already looking forward to the next time!

The ambience is nice, but unfortunately the service and the food ruined it. We got liquid creme brulee, when asked it was known and the question was already asked whether it should be served. Then why do you do it? Apparently no one notices... there was no apology or anything like that and it was even written on the invoice. It's very expensive and of such poor quality. Some of the food was served carelessly and was already cold. Unfortunately not recommended, it could be so nice with the great atmosphere! I'll try it again in a few months, maybe it'll be better then😉

Leuk en gezellig restaurant met vriendelijke en vlotte bediening. Eten was uitstekend en is zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. We waren met een groep van 10 personen en konden separaat afrekenen met bankkaart. Van harte aanbevolen!

Was für ein tolles Restaurant! Wir wurden sehr herzlich von der Inhaberin empfangen (und verabschiedet!), es gab eine Empfehlung des Tages, die Karte ist übersichtlich und hat eine schöne Auswahl. Crème brûlée und Sorbet sowie verschiedene Vor- und Hauptspeisen schmeckten hervorragend! Alles ist super sauber und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Wir kommen wieder!

Very warm and friendly reception - waiters take time to explain, listen carefully, are very attentive, yet relaxed. Mediterranean and steak is the menu - every dish (even pasta) comes with a fresh side salad, and bread and butter. I had an interesting Croatian dry White with my pasta - a good recommendation. The outside terrace is nice and calm - like a cozy backyard. Due to the stairs and the historic building, the terrace eventually is not all-accessible.
