Positive +TEAM very nice and familiar, owner also very correct 😉 + Doner meat quality increases straight out of taste. + Price performance ratio 👍 + Product (döner/pizza) always has a consistent taste. + the side dishes are always fresh with lots of choices, so lots of variety. Negative: - Bread too standard. Either bake it yourself like with the xxl Or switch to flatbread 🔺Triangle shape the classic. just a recommendation 😉

On the drive from the north back to Switzerland, the navigation system suggested this restaurant, among other things. So we gave it a try without further ado. We weren't disappointed! We had the beef fillet from the recommendation menu and both the quality and the preparation were excellent! Everything to the point! The service and the ambience were great! We would love to come back and can only recommend the restaurant because of the parking options! Thank you!

Unfortunately it's not as great as it used to be. Eating less, not as tasty anymore. Salad plates have decreased significantly. Fries too dry or not cooked through. Atmosphere but still cozy, unfortunately only cash payment possible. Why do you think...? It's a shame actually.

Und das ohne Laufkundschaft. Wir waren abends in einer kulturellen Veranstaltung in der Nähe. Im Rahmen einer Suche, gefiel mir die Auswahl der Speisen und die Preise. Hier angekommen: sehr freundliches Personal. Wir hatten keine Reservierung (hätte ich nicht vermutet, dass man hier eine gebraucht hätte), aber da wir recht früh am Abend da waren, bekamen wir den letzten Tisch ohne Reservierung. Bei der Grießklößchensuppe schmeckte man sofort, dass sie hausgemacht war. "Leider" waren das drei so riesige Dinger: danach war man schon satt. Ich hatte dann das Tiroler Schnitzel: So eine Riesenportion hätte für den Preis nicht vermutet. Die Reste mitnehmen gar kein Problem. Uns musste es nicht ungenehm sein zu fragen... sondern sie kamen sofort und boten uns an, etwas zum Einpacken zum Tisch zu bringen. Es gibt immer noch eine Wochenkarte, die man auf Facebook findet und noch Tagesgerichte an der Tafel. Der Weg durch das Lorscher Labyrinth lohnt sich auf jeden Fall. Schöne freundliche Einrichtung.

Highly recommended in summer. Very nice for children in general, playground available. A mini golf course where children, aged 10 and over, can play alone. Food and drinks are ordered at the counter. Specify table number when ordering. Because food is called with table numbers. Then pickup. Everything is going very relaxed. There are only beer tables and benches with backrests outside. Very casual location, outside and no traffic. Price/performance ratio is right. Highly recommended to spend the day relaxing with children and grandchildren with good food and drinks.

Good in the past – unfortunately disappointing today There were 13 of us at the Weißer Kreuz in Lorsch for my wife's birthday. It used to be a good restaurant – unfortunately a lot has changed today. New owner, very young and inexperienced service staff who were visibly overwhelmed with the processes. There were several mistakes while eating: onion roast was ordered three times with fries instead of spaetzle - but it came out wrong. The fries were then served separately, but carelessly on a plate. The side dish for the rump steak was also wrong; the salad was served later, but it was barely dressed - we had to order additional dressing. The roasts were well done instead of medium, the meat was cut rather thinly and the taste was not convincing. Sirloin, schnitzel and cordon bleu were dry. At almost €450 for main courses and a drink each - without a starter or dessert - and at prices like €29.90 for the roast or €25 for a rump steak without a side dish, we would have expected more. The invoice also contained errors. Our feedback was received in a friendly manner, but without any real response or accommodation. One more thought about the current gastro situation: Of course it's not easy at the moment - staff is difficult to find and costs are rising. But it is precisely then that you need a good concept, trained staff and a clear requirement for quality in order not to lose guests. High prices must be justified by performance - unfortunately that was not the case here. It's a shame - it was the last visit for us.

Friendly and fast service staff. The food is rather average. The restaurant is usually very busy, which makes it very loud. We also sat opposite the scullery, where all sorts of metal sheets were being handled quite loudly.

The entire meal was a disaster. The pizza was raw dough. The rigatoni with salmon in cream sauce was not recognizable as such. Brown noodles (whole grain?) in a brown sauce and the salad was good if you got a leaf...that wasn't drowned in thick mush sauce. A lady outside on the terrace summed it up. The cook should be fired. In retrospect, of course, you understand why you couldn't get a free table anywhere else and here only two tables were occupied. Everyone probably only comes once.
