The food was really delicious, the steak was cooked perfectly. The side salad now costs €4.50 extra, previously it was included. I asked nicely if I could just get a side salad instead of fries or fried potatoes. This was of course possible, but I still had to pay the €4.50. Unfortunately, the boss quickly became very unfriendly and unwilling to compromise. She also declined a free salad that was smaller than the side salad as a replacement for the fries. But when I just wanted to order the steak without any side dishes and asked if it would be cheaper - I was simply told no. As she left she complained about guests “like us” I thought that was a shame, because for us, eating also includes the feeling of being welcome. Unfortunately, that was no longer the case here. My conclusion: Very tasty food and a nice ambience - as long as you behave like a guest and don't have any special requests! The lack of ability to take criticism can also be clearly seen in the responses to some reviews. Since I was now able to read the response to my review, it confirms my impression. We were neither stubborn nor unfriendly. I was surprised and then actually shocked at the way in which our request and then demand was responded to in such an unfriendly manner. I didn't know that before. We didn't call the boss, but the waitress got her. The service was consistently very nice! Already in the restaurant and now in the answer you notice that you are not welcome as a guest with special requests. That makes you more sad than angry! You can often only do something like this if you don't have to rely on guests. A good restaurant visit also includes good service! It's a shame to distort the situation like this. I would actually rather drive further away than eat here again!

The restaurant is located in a former rifle lodge. The interior design is correspondingly rustic. The food looks and tastes really very good. A real surprise. The portion size was more than sufficient. The owner and proprietress were very friendly. We'd love to come back!

This restaurant appears to no longer exist. At least it looks that way when you stand in front of the building.

The best kebab shop in the area, I eat there almost every day and I'm very well received. The boss is very friendly and you employees too, I advise everyone to go there 👍👏🤙

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We celebrated our wedding in the Obermühle Langenselbold – and it was simply perfect! The location is beautiful, especially for a private wedding. The white chairs in the garden created a wonderful backdrop, and the reception afterwards was well organized. The celebration itself was also a complete success: great ambience, attentive staff and a fantastic barbecue buffet, which was well received by all our guests. The entire planning and support was professional and cordial - we simply felt comfortable. A huge thank you to the Obermühle team for this unforgettable day! Absolute recommendation for anyone looking for a special wedding location.

Always top quality and top value for money

I ordered 2 Lachmacun, it was really bad, the bread wasn't fresh, everything fell apart. I used to think it was better there and it has completely subsided.

Unfortunately the food is very good. But the owners in management are absolutely incompetent.

We always eat the kebab plate. Fresh, hot and very tasty. Pure veal.

I was here for the first time last Thursday. Unfortunately, the menu almost only offers meat dishes. I also found the salad with goat cheese at just under 15 euros too expensive and not particularly nicely presented. It's a shame

This cafe is highly recommended. We went there for brunch and it was great. Very tasty, varied and everything fresh and coffee and tea are included in the price 🥰The service is super friendly. We were very satisfied and would like to come back.
