Large portions, delicious food and very friendly staff

As various reviews have already described... - A truly unique restaurant in terms of taste! - A real insider tip! Many things you'd expect from other Asian restaurants taste WORLDS better here. The restaurant is run by a super-lovable couple, Hong and Thanh Nguyen. Two examples: Example 1: The baked breaded chicken... Fresh chicken in its own crispy breading. Fresh, juicy, soft white meat. The breading is an absolute dream and a real treat! You'll also enjoy eating it plain for a little snack or simply for the unique taste, especially when served fresh and hot. (At all other Asian restaurants, the meat is rather gray and not as juicy, and the breading also tastes rather soggy and bland.) Example 2: Dish #36 - Thai (Rice) Nüa Phad Kuman (spicy) with beef, vegetables, and garlic Its dark, spicy sauce is definitely the best sauce I've ever tasted. My special version of #36 (only with sprouts and mushrooms) is my absolute favorite. (See picture) The beef, which at other Asian restaurants is tough as a shoe sole, is marinated here until it's as tender as butter. Even a baby without teeth can chew it ;-) When I'm really hungry, I order with extra beef...it's fun! Unfortunately, ALL OTHER Asian restaurants have to compete with Thu-An for sauce quality and overall flavor, and so far, they haven't even come close. At Thu-An, it's simply always so much better. That's what everyone else I know who's been here has said, too. Now that I'm finished with the review, I'm hungry from writing, so I'm heading there for dinner at 5 p.m. 😁

The food is so delicious, a real insider tip. But I've known the delicious food from the food truck in Gründau for a long time.

The restaurant is located in a former rifle lodge. The interior design is correspondingly rustic. The food looks and tastes really very good. A real surprise. The portion size was more than sufficient. The owner and proprietress were very friendly. We'd love to come back!

A really good Vietnamese restaurant with very attractive and, above all, tasty dishes (e.g. duck, chicken, tofu, etc.). The quality is always consistently good and the portions are really large (any leftover food can be packed up if requested). The service here is very nice and the food is served quickly (for those who are in a hurry😊). High-quality drinks such as Hofbräuhaus (HB) beer or wines from various manufacturers have a very good price (beer 0.5 €3.80, wine 0.2 €4.50). Great importance is attached to cleanliness and at the end you get a plum wine and a fortune cookie. In summer there is also a lovely garden area to sit outside. In short, a visit is always worthwhile as long as a good price/performance ratio with tasty dishes/drinks, friendly service and cleanliness is preferred.

I often ordered and picked up food. Every time it was just delicious. The portions were plentiful and the price was very acceptable.

Very tasty Vietnamese food. We ordered food to pick up, it only took 10 minutes. The food was still hot when we got home and we really enjoyed it! We will definitely order or eat here again!

A real insider tip and not for bad eaters. The quality and offer were great. My crispy duck with rice was brilliant and the portion was generous. However, meat-free flavors also get their money's worth here. This also makes eating together with family at “Thu An” relaxed and uncomplicated. In summer we will certainly enjoy the attractive beer garden that is available there. There is also a playground in the beer garden for families with small children, so even the little guests won't get bored. The first impression was very positive. An inviting, pleasant and friendly atmosphere. This location, with a beer garden and playground, offers a great setting for young and old to enjoy a few relaxing and sunny hours in the summer with various delicacies and refreshing cold drinks. We will certainly use it with our family clan in the summer. A big thumbs up from us. We can only recommend a visit to this location and the food.

Were at Thu An for the first time, and not for the last time. Ambience is fine, but it's not important because we wanted to eat well and tasty. Service was good, but payment was only possible in cash. We all enjoyed the food (10, 45, 50 and 200), freshly prepared, hot and tasty. Prices are OK. The 45 (Red Curry) had a bit of spiciness, but was OK even for me. We will come again. Clear recommendation!

Had gyoza, tom kha gai soup and the duck in peanut sauce. Unfortunately, I cannot confirm the positive reviews. Sauce for the gyoza was cold, I didn't find any beef in the filling. The soup was very small for the price and the coconut milk was missing. Unfortunately the duck was very dry and the vegetables were unfortunately very simple and boring. In the summer you can definitely sit outside in a really cool way.

I met the owners of Thu An in Lieblos. A very good kitchen in the snack cart. You have now been at the Schützenhaus in Selbold for some time. Very tasty and appetizingly presented on the plate. Special requests are gladly accepted and carried out. A very good Vietnamese with some Thai cuisine. 🌶️👍Now that the owners of the restaurant have been here for a while, the ambience has become warmer and more comfortable. The kitchen is still very, very good. 👍👍🌶️ The nice thing is that in summer the outdoor area is also open with plenty of tables. Families with children can be happy, there is plenty of space and toys for the little ones. 🌻😎🦋

It was our first time eating there. For starters we had Vietnamese spring rolls and koyza (dumplings). Each with a sweet and sour dip. Unfortunately we didn't like either and we wouldn't order them again. But the main course made up for it. We had Crispy Duck Xa-Cha, spicy, and Chicken with Vegetables, spicy. Both tasted very tasty and the portion size was good too. The price-performance ratio is definitely right here. The service was also friendly and attentive. Conclusion: apart from the starter, we were satisfied with the food and will come back.

There are large portions of delicious dishes from Asia here. Everything is always freshly prepared in a wok. Dishes with red curry, such as Gäng Phäd Nüa (Thai), are highly recommended.

Essen war sehr lecker, schnell zubereitet und eine große Portion. Ambiente bekommt einen Stern weniger, da es sich um ein Sportlokal und kein Restaurant ist. Die Bedienung war freundlich und aufmerksam.

Mega leckeres Essen kann ich nur empfehlen, und ja der Service ist top. Der Besitzer betreibt auch noch einen Imbiss auf dem Rewe Getränkemarkt in Gründau Lieblos, nur zu empfehlen.

Das mit Abstand beste asiatische Restaurant im Main-Kinzig Kreis.

Sehr leckeres und reichliches Essen. Sehr netter Service. Man kann seh ruhig im Garten sitzen.

Schönes chinesisches Restaurant mit sehr leckeren, hochwertigen Essen und freundlichen Service. Es gibt kein Buffet dafür aber echt leckere und große Portionen. Bei guten Wetter kann man auch draußen sitzen. Für Kinder gibt es einen Spielturm mit Rutsche und Sandkasten. Das Biergärten Ambiente im Garten (es gibt leckeres Münchner Helles aus dem Fass) passt nicht perfekt zur asiatischen Küche. Dennoch ist das Thu An ganz klar empfehlenswert.

Super lecker, richtig netter Service und wir konnten draußen essen 🥘 finde es immer super, wenn man bei asiatischen Gerichten nicht nur Reis 🍚 sondern auch viel Gemüse bekommt. Es war wie deklariert, scharf 🌶️ allerdings so gut gemacht, dass auch anderer Geschmack durch kam - sehr zu empfehlen

Blödsinn was die ein Sternerezension schreibt! Wir sind beim Essen / Kulinarik sehr verwöhnt und haben heute Essen abgeholt. Sehr lecker! Alle drei Menues und auch die gebackenen Bananen (da waren auch salzige Erdnüsse drinnen). Sehr sauber, sehr lecker, große Portionen! Gerne 5 Sterne
