Wollten einen 50€ Gutschein einlösen. War schon 4 Jahre alt. Ok, muß man nicht annehmen. Wurde auch nicht. Enttäuschend war nur die arrogante Art :° Wären Sie ein Stammkunde, ja dann......und außerdem erhalten wir immer wieder gefälschte Gutscheine....". Unmöglich und da hebt es auch nicht die Stimmung, wenn am Ende eine Flasche Wein rüber gereicht wurde. Wir wohnen in Neuruppin, werden aber sicher kein (Stamm) kunde!

Good smoked fish has become rare. I am so happy to find this smokehouse again after years of being away from Germany. Brought two trout for the evening. For my Thai wife it was a special taste experience. Highly recommended. A nice conversation with the owner. Thank you very much.

My wife, I and our dog ate at the UpHus restaurant on the first Sunday of February 2025. It was very tasty! My wife had the trout and I had the baked spiced meat. We were both thrilled! Our dog had enough space under the table. The restaurant is very cozy thanks to the small bays for seating. The service was really nice and quick! I reserved a table at short notice on Sunday evening and was greeted very courteously and friendly on the phone. Parking is a bit tight at the location due to the location, but there were still enough spaces available. The restaurant looks a bit small from the outside, but there are enough seats inside. We got a very nice seat by the window, which I found very nice because I always had my car in view 😅. The window sills were full of beautiful plants and the whole ambience had a slightly rustic but modern touch. The staff is super friendly and quick. Also typical of an Italian restaurant are the olives with freshly sliced ​​bread, which was served to us immediately 🤤. So now a little criticism from my side, but everyone has to decide and taste it for themselves. The bruschetta that we naturally ordered was too mildly seasoned for me. The same with the main course, which was really tasty but also lacked a bit of pizzazz. But all in all, with the ambience and the super friendly service and staff, I would definitely come back again at any time.

I went there with my wife and dog for dinner twice in a row at the beginning of February 2025. First day with pizza - very large, nice and thin, crispy and not too much toppings and not too little! Plus a shared salad. That was ok. Second day my wife pasta with chicken in gorgonzola sauce - lots of chicken and the gorgonzola sauce was a hit! I had pasta with pork fillet in cream sauce. Also great! The salad with it was ok again. Lots of leaves, little else. Another thing to rate as positive: Even though the Portofino was completely full, the service was quick and very nice! At the beginning we always got a bowl of olives (super good!) and white bread! Great service! We'd love to come back! Many thanks to the Portofino team says Christian with appointment transport!

I can highly recommend! I can't judge what the atmosphere is like because I ordered. I had to wait a bit, but that was okay because it still arrived hot!
