Ristorante Portofino in Neuruppin

The mostly good reviews are definitely true, of course it is an Italian and is not necessarily in strict Italian hands. But the food is very good, the wine selection goes well beyond the usual Pinot Grigio and the advice at the table is excellent. The friendliness in service is not the same in every Italian restaurant. We were there twice in a row and the first good impression was confirmed.

Little Rafael greeted us with kisses 💋 and greeted me with his tongue! I had a special request, local shark fish baked with cheese, but unfortunately it was no longer on offer!! Then I found something that wasn't on the menu, pizza calzone, and got it without any problems!!! I eat pizza 🍕 Calzone everywhere in the world, whether in New York or Hawaii no matter where, but the pizza tastes really delicious 😋! And if you want to pay by card, you can stay at the table!!

Flabby pizza, lousy wines, inattentive service.

Very tasty, huge pizza and pasta eaten, everything fits, if we are in Neuruppin again, then we know where we are going to eat.

You are greeted very friendly and get the menu and the food pretty quickly. But what really bothers me is that as soon as the food arrives, you hardly pay any attention to ordering another drink. I always have the feeling that I should actually pay and go. As far as paying goes...I think it's an absolute no go...as soon as you want to split the bill...I have to stand in line at the checkout like in the supermarket and pay there. Doesn't work at all. For me, all of this creates ambience... which I completely miss.

Chic, modern restaurant with a view of the lake, we had reserved for 20 people, were allocated a separate room, the food was served quickly, super tasty and the pickled olives were wonderful. Also very nice, authentic staff. Prices are more than reasonable and card payment is possible.

For Corona reasons, the four of us wanted to sit on the terrace to eat. We were rudely denied this because they wouldn't serve outside because of the weather. However, the sun was shining and two tables outside were occupied. One had the impression that it was actually an inconvenient time since the entire staff was eating together. It's astonishing that you're missing out on income of around €100; there seems to be a lack of immediate competitive pressure. The location right on the lake is very nice. We were then impressed by the Klosterhof restaurant. It's a shame, we would have liked to be convinced of the quality of the food.

Hello last night at 8.50 p.m. I wanted to order a pizza but the old man on the phone was trying to rip me off so I asked for a pizza and he told me 50€ just a small pizza. I was also a little stoned and really hungry so I know can order from 20€ to 25€ or a maximum of 30 EUR can order something not just a pizza 50€ sorry that's a big scam I don't order anything from your restaurant anymore delicious but greetings fraud the people on the cell phone goes in

It simply tastes heavenly here.

The service was unpleasant. The food was ok...

We had ordered a table for 6 on Friday. This was indoors. Since there were other large tables around, we found it a bit noisy. We had tagliatelle with mushrooms and pork fillet tips, gnocchi stuffed with goat cheese and parmesan, rump steak and 3 pizzas. Although there was neither pasta nor pizza Quattro Formaggi, I received such a pizza upon request. We were all satisfied, except the gnocchi were plain and had no side dish. What wasn't so nice was that we only received oil/vinegar when we asked and it wasn't available like it was on other tables. Plus it took an hour and a half for our food to arrive. But you have to say that it was full. The restaurant has a terrace with a view of the lake, but unfortunately we couldn't enjoy it. The prices are in the higher segment, especially for the drinks.

Can only be recommended. Will come again.

Very friendly staff, unfortunately always a bit inattentive and disoriented, but when you call they are there straight away and are committed to fulfilling your wishes quickly. The food was very tasty, the portions were easily enough to fill you up. We would definitely love to come back.

The restaurant is perfectly located on the lake, which you have a great view of from the terrace. The staff is friendly, but a bit inattentive. You have to go into the dining room yourself to order drinks or other dishes. The quality of the food corresponds to a typical tourist restaurant. It is still recommended for a relaxing evening.

The ambience at the lake is nice. You have a great view from the terrace. Unfortunately, you get the impression that you are resting on this view. I had a starter platter as the main course and together with my companions we ordered pizza bread with tomatoes. The pizza bread only came after the main course was already on the table. Wouldn't have been a problem in my court. However, the other two had pizza and pizza with pizza is inappropriate. So we let the starter go back. A short time later they tried to bring it to us again. We said no again. The starter plate cost €15.50 (of course you pay for the view) and was mainly filled with rocket, which was covered with a slice of ham, and some vegetables. There are much better places for less! The staff also seemed to have some problems with each other. These should perhaps not be discussed in front of customers.

Waiter absolutely unfriendly, popular starter was delivered with the main course. Pizza was mediocre, I definitely eat better at other Italian restaurants in the city. The prices are not justified! I gave it another chance because I was already disappointed once two years ago. But now I'm sure I definitely won't go to Portofino again. What shocked me most was the way the staff treated each other. They seem to have had various disagreements and it also got louder. The only positive thing was that the olives were very tasty

Next restaurant near the Brandenburg Resort and thermal baths with Italian food on the promenade. Otherwise in Neuruppin only German cuisine.

Full of anticipation from the review of the restaurant, we were unfortunately disappointed. The kitchen ventilation can constantly be heard on the terrace. All the tables around us were smoking, which was quite unpleasant, even the staff in the corner. Unfortunately, we also had to notice that there were differences between the guests; not everyone was given the pepper mill or basil vinegar. Unfortunately there is no children's menu available. Unfortunately, the kids didn't manage to finish the pizzas. After paying, despite a tip, not everyone gets an aperitif on the house. The 2 pizzas were then packed in a box. Unfortunately the chef is afraid of spices, unfortunately the food was sober.

TOP. Incredibly delicious ice cream. I would drive an hour from Berlin just for that!!

Excellent food, great service, beautiful location.

The ambience was very nice, several people ate there, 3 of us got diarrhea afterwards, which can't be a coincidence. Gogonzola sauce tasted like it came out of a bag. Meat was fried to death and the quality and price performance wasn't right here

We were there twice in the last 2 weeks and both times, due to the nice weather, we reserved a table on the terrace, from which you can have a nice view of Lake Neuruppin. All tables were occupied (7 p.m.). The service is very good, there are enough waiters and they are on their toes. The food was also very tasty, we had pizzas, salad and pork liver. A nightcap is still available here 🫠.

Männlicher Service unfreundlich und desinteressiert. Apperitiv warm serviert. Tischdecke draußen schmuddelig. Brot und Oliven waren schmackhaft. Hauptgang Lachsfilet gut Beilage zum Teil halbgar, Zanderfilet mit Pfifferlingen ohne Geschmack Beilage lngweilig. Viel Essen auf dem Teller mit mässiger Qualität. Wir kommen nicht wieder, keine Empfehlung.

Typical Italian food with a few highlights.

Always awesome!!! - the staff are always friendly, well-dressed and attentive - the prices are great for the great quality - the view of the lake and the beautiful terrace - Everything was beautifully laid out inside, real napkins, great tablecloths and great dishes and matching glasses - the pickled olives as a welcome from the kitchen - the food is so delicious!!! - the grappa or the espresso as a thank you. Hats off to you for this achievement!!! Again and again or hammer! I was there again today on December 2nd, 2023. Just great !! Really always super nice ♥️ Update from July 14, 2024. I can only emphasize again and again how great this restaurant is. A super nice terrace, great food and super friendly staff. Keep it up !! ♥️

Nice restaurant with a nice view of the lake. A clear menu with delicious dishes. Only the drinks service leaves something to be desired.

The food was very good and tasty. Unfortunately the service left a lot to be desired. Drinks had to be reordered several times and after the meal no one bothered to ask if anything else was needed. Would have liked to order dessert and coffee. Then we went and paid for yours. It's a shame, I used to love being there.

When I'm in my old hometown, I always like to go to Porto Fino. Reliably good, attentive service that is always open to a personal word, paired with very good food and a great ambience. In the warm season, we recommend reserving a spot on the terrace with a view of Lake Ruppiner. See you again soon!

A nice Italian ristorante on the banks of Lake Neueruppin. The food was very good and the service was pleasantly attentive. We had a good time.

We were in Neuruppin for two weeks and came here four times during the two weeks to eat and drink. If I'm in the area again I'll definitely take the opportunity to visit again.

We were guests here for a wedding and were completely thrilled. We received great service, the drinks were delicious, I can only recommend the Sarti Sprizz and the food was outstanding. When we're in the area again we'll definitely come here for dinner.

That was much better. It's really nice to sit, but the taste of the food has noticeably deteriorated. The service seemed indifferent, forgot food and overall rather uncaring. It's a shame, we always enjoyed going there when we were in Neuruppin

Good and tasty food, well prepared, but not spicy enough for my taste, i.e. too mildly seasoned. Tastes are just different. The prices are in the upper middle range, but okay for the location and the facilities. The staff is anything but Italian, but unobtrusively friendly. Sitting on the terrace and looking at the lake on mild evenings is a pleasure. After eating, you can take a walk along the lakeside path. Recommended.

Der Service beginnt schon mit netter Begrüßung. Trotz Vorbestellung konnte der Tisch nochmal gewechselt werden. Nach erfolgter Getränkebestellung , Rotwein , keine weiteren Fragen nach Wasser , wie anderswo fortlaufend . Essen Pizza Scampi , alles frische Zutaten .

We had a table. For the cloakroom we were sent from one room to the next and everything was occupied. It was very crowded. The individual rooms make it more pleasant but it was still very restless. I think it's much more pleasant when the load isn't as high.

We were there spontaneously while passing through. The pizzas were very tasty and the service was great.

The view on the terrace is beautiful. The waiters were uncaring, the food was expensive, but more bad than good. The best were the olives and the bread. The map is a standard map and boring. Even though the terrace was full, the food came after just under 10 minutes, so you get skeptical... The pizza looked good from a distance and is probably at least filling. Zero Italian love and hospitality. A pity….

2 waiters who served us were very(!) unfriendly!!! We recommend individual coaching for these employees. A beautiful view of the water alone is not enough!

We were there on a late afternoon and it was a lovely visit. With a view of the lake and sunshine, good service and a very friendly atmosphere, we enjoyed the good food. Gladly again.

The visit was a little marred because the waitress first pushed the crumbs on the floor into a corner with her hand and then cut the bread for us with unwashed hands. The food was average, so overall okay.

The best pizza (Mista) I have ever eaten 💕. The ice cream in the ice cream parlor was also great.

Very nice restaurant right on the lake. In summer you can also sit on the terrace. We were there yesterday and everything was really great. Good-humoured waiters and really tasty food. The kids thought it was great too. Highly recommended. Prices are going up everywhere anyway. So you should factor in a hundred euros for 4 people.

Like many stories, this one begins with once upon a time. I still remembered this restaurant well. Unfortunately, this was not confirmed during this visit. When I asked if everything tasted good, I informed the waiter that I wasn't happy with the chicken in the pasta. The taste and consistency were definitely not worth the price. Then everyone just shrugged their shoulders. Based on my criticism, it was clear that the cellar was annoyed. We were no longer served accordingly.

I celebrated my birthday here with my lovely friends. For 20 people first I hesitated if I would find a place but Portofino was the perfect choice. For bigger groups here is the matching place. Foods very delicious. I got salmon with Prosecco. Romantic location near the lake. At different times of the year , from winter to spring , you can always enjoy your time here. But the overall impression was very positive, so I can warmly recommend the Portofino. In summer it also has a large terrace and seating. The other guests' food looked very good and tasty

Waterfront location is unbeatable in summer. Food and service are rather mediocre & boring. The restaurant offers nothing special apart from the location. For me personally it's ok, but completely overrated in Neuruppin. We only go here when we are invited as a family and we are always annoyed about how “child-friendly” it is.

Essen war soweit okay. Allerdings hatten wir schon beim Betreten des Restaurants das Gefühl, nicht besonders Willkommen zu sein. Der Kellner spulte eher unfreundlich sein Programm ab. Keine Atmosphäre zum Verweilen. Wir sind auch nach dem Essen schnell wieder gegangen.

Ich bin so gern in diesem Restaurant. Jedes Essen, das ich hatte, fand ich bei jedem Besuch super lecker. Die Kellner sind aufmerksam und höflich und die Lage am See ist super. Ich verbringe gern länger Zeit dort, da ich es sowohl drinnen als auch draußen so gemütlich finde und das Ambiente zum Verweilen und Quatschen einlädt.

Schönes Lokal mit leckeren Speisen und gutem Service.

Wir wurden dorthin eingeladen und mussten erstmal ewig suchen, um das Restaurant zu finden. Es gibt kaum kostenlose Parkplätze in der unmittelbaren Umgebung (abends). Wir mussten relativ lange auf unser Essen warten, welches zwar ganz gut schmeckte, aber für die Preise dort, waren die Portionen sehr überschaubar. Durch das lange Warten taten einigen von uns die Gesäße weh, weil wir die Stühle als ziemlich hart und ungemütlich empfanden. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, schien aber an diesem Tag durch den Stress etwas zerstreut zu sein.

Sehr empfehlenswert. Ich war nicht zum ersten Mal da und auf alle Fälle werde ich wieder kommen

Ich würde sagen das "BESTE" Restaurant in Neuruppin. Sehr guter Service und noch bessere Speisen. Mehr kann man dazu nicht sagen. Bitte weiter so!!!! Bis demnächst. :)

"Ristorante Portofino" ist ein kulinarisches Juwel. Das charmante Ambiente entführt direkt nach Italien. Die Pasta war ein Gedicht, perfekt abgestimmt und köstlich. Der Service war aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Empfehlenswert für alle, die authentische italienische Küche lieben!

Leckere Pastagerichte mit gutem garpunkt.. einzig hausgemachte Nudeln hätten das Gericht perfekt gemacht.

Aufgrund der guten Rezensionen haben wir uns zum Mittagessen im Ristorante Portofino entschieden. Das Essen war wirklich lecker, die Pasta "al dente", der Service sehr aufmerksam und das Ambiente sehr ansprechend. Auch das Preis -Leistungsverhältnis war sehr gut. Wir waren sehr zufrieden. Das Portofino kann locker mit einem Ristorante in Hamburg mithalten! Darum auch von uns 5 Sterne!

Essen ist sehr lecker. Leider werden die Portionen kleiner.
