We had lunch here with our family on Boxing Day. We were a little skeptical at first from the outside, but the service was very warm and attentive. The food was excellent, and the prices are fair. We'll definitely be back!
We wanted to have a hot chocolate with rum there today, and although hot chocolate and rum are on the menu, they wouldn't make it for me because that combination wasn't listed. On top of that, they became rude when I asked several times what the problem was. Unbelievable! 😂 Go to the nice gentleman by the lift instead.
The "Zur alten Post" inn has everything you need to feel at home right away. Incredibly friendly hosts, exceptionally good food on the terrace, and comfortable rooms create an atmosphere like visiting friends. It's a shame we were just passing through!
A lovely little restaurant with delicious and fresh Italian cuisine. The ambiance is a bit dated, but that doesn't detract from the restaurant's reputation, as the service is very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!
Complete catastrophe. We ordered for 17 men in the office and received a confirmation. Then we wanted to order something more and didn't get one. The phone was unreachable and no one responded to the email. We then drove past to see that the store was being cleared out. Apparently a renovation is taking place. The workers just looked at me blankly. Very unprofessional. Luckily, Mulino in Heidingsfeld was able to help us quickly.
It used to be good, I ordered/received a huge doner kebab that was completely raw, not even warm, and they threw three huge chunks of meat into it at the very bottom. For €12, it was absolutely disgusting!
It's not always the same when the woman is there. Sometimes there are pieces of fat and gristle in the kebab. I've also experienced meat that wasn't cooked yet was cut from the skewer. It only happens when the woman is there. Otherwise, it's a very, very good kebab, by far the best in Dingolfing.
You can tell the owner is a trained chef; the food is always of excellent quality. The service is very friendly, and almost all special requests are fulfilled.
The team was clearly dedicated to making the stay enjoyable. The kitchen's individual time management was particularly noteworthy: the significantly staggered serving of dishes gave guests ample opportunity to observe each other's meals. The portion sizes were remarkably generous, leaving plenty of room for later culinary additions, even outside the restaurant. Overall, the visit largely met expectations for an experience with considerable potential for improvement.
