The prices are quite low, but the food isn't anything special. Pre-made croquettes, pre-made sauce, and the fillet was sliced far too thin, overcooked, and therefore, of course, tough. The food contains a ton of sugar and starch; my blood sugar spiked to dizzying heights within 10 minutes. The restaurant was busy, but the service was still okay. Everyone's suffering from staff shortages these days. Despite the staff shortage, I recommend replacing the chef.
Last Friday at lunchtime, we ate at Mai Thai in Heroldsberg for the first time.
While the food isn't exactly cheap, the dishes were authentic and delicious, and the portions were generous. The value for money was therefore good.
We were served by the owner, who was extremely friendly and attentive and always had a smile on her face.
The restaurant's ambiance was also very appealing.
I would highly recommend Mai Thai.
We ate there yesterday and were more than satisfied; the food tasted great, the pizza was 100% homemade and delicious. The service was very warm and friendly. We will definitely go there again.
I went there with a friend for dinner. It's a lovely, rustic restaurant with a small hall where we were lucky enough to have live music that evening. The food was excellent, the service was friendly and attentive, and the value for money was superb. I can highly recommend this restaurant.
Prices are higher and portions are significantly smaller compared to about a year ago (especially the salmon rice bowl). Generally, I would have expected a dish for €12.50 to be enough to fill me up, but unfortunately, this has rarely been the case in the past.
Now they're even trying to make pizza. Unfortunately, the quality of the doner kebabs is suffering as a result. The dürüm is getting thinner and thinner, and they're only using some weird grated cheese. I hope this will calm down.
The food was poor quality, the service was slow, and the billing was chaotic. Two attempts, two disappointments; unfortunately, there won't be a third time.
Tuvimos una cena encantadora! La comida era increíble y vino en porciones bastante grandes. Los camareros fueron muy amables y atentos. Gastamos menos de lo que pensábamos. Así que en general recomiendo encarecidamente este lugar!
Feedback on Pizzeria Giuseppe, formerly Futterhütte:
I was there this evening with a friend. We arrived around 7:30 pm. Opening hours: Saturdays until 9:30 pm. The side room was quite full, the main room had a family of six sitting there. We ordered two wheat beers. Around 8 pm, the family from the side room paid and left. About 10 minutes later, the family of six also paid and left. As soon as they were gone, the owner came to our table and said they were closing in 10 minutes. It was only 8:15 pm and we still had our wheat beers and wanted to have another drink. We said, "But you're open until 9:30 pm, aren't you?" He replied, "No more customers, the lights use a lot of electricity, we're closing in 10 minutes." It was a formal eviction. We paid, got up, and left. We were actually planning to go there for pizza next weekend, but that's out of the question now. We haven't experienced such rudeness in a long time. Today was our first and last time in that place...😡...That's definitely no way to treat customers. Maybe he should change his opening hours to: "Open as long as there are customers"...!!!! UNBELIEVABLE.........🤮
