We arrived spontaneously, and the place was packed. Nevertheless, they found the last two seats for us.
They kindly told us upon entering that the food might take a while because it was busy and a lot of people had just ordered at once.
We waited what we thought was a normal amount of time. The food was freshly cooked; you could hear the schnitzels knocking, and the salad was fresh, delicious, and well-dressed. The ambiance and selection live up to its reputation: it's a clubhouse restaurant in every respect.
Cash only.
All in all, this is an absolute insider tip, and it's worth it to chat with the people here and enjoy some delicious food!
We had our Christmas dinner at Kostas in December 2025. It was delicious – we had the cold appetizer platter and a main course with steak, which was cooked to perfection, and a plate of gyros and fried calamari. Everything was impeccable and typically Greek. The service was attentive but not intrusive, even though it wasn't very busy that evening (a Tuesday) – for whatever reason.
Everything was fine, one question though:
Why isn't the pizza cut? Whether it's delivered or eaten in the pizzeria, the pizza is always brought with a pizza cutter. Why is that?
ABSOLUTELY RECOMMENDED – Best doner kebab in Dingolfing and the surrounding area!
I went to Rey’s Kebab in Dingolfing and I was absolutely thrilled. I haven't had such a delicious doner kebab anywhere else in Dingolfing or the entire area!
The fries are super crispy and incredibly tasty, cooked to perfection. The meat is incredibly flavorful, fresh, and perfectly seasoned – simply a delight. The sauces complement everything perfectly, and the portion was more than generous.
What impressed me most was the cleanliness: the restaurant itself, the cutlery, the tables, and the tray – everything was spotless. You can tell that hygiene is a top priority here.
On top of that, the staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, immediately creating a pleasant atmosphere.
For me, it's clear: the best kebab experience you can have.
If you're in Dingolfing, you absolutely must stop by – it's definitely worth it! 👌🔥
Actually a good Italian restaurant. Good pizza dough. Good pasta dishes. Unfortunately, they don't take criticism well. Then I shouldn't have asked if it was good. The pizza with salami wasn't good and no one at the table liked it. I can't say whether it's because the salami isn't baked in. It would be so easy to just buy delicious, flavorful Calabrese sausage. I even put it in my pizza oven at 430°C.
