TOP ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An Italian restaurant without pizza – and that's a good thing! Because the dishes served there are so delicious that you don't need pizza. Every bite was an absolute delight, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was great. Spending our department's Christmas party there was a fantastic idea. A first-class hotel with professional and friendly service; you feel completely at ease! The food was excellent, all our special requests were perfectly accommodated, and the breakfast buffet was second to none! The location right on the lake with a magnificent view from the comfortable room was simply fantastic! We'd love to come back after the reopening and are looking forward to the improvements!!

Please do not state on your website that you accept walk-in guests if this is not actually the case. After driving 20 minutes to the restaurant, we were told— in a very rude tone and without being offered any alternatives —that they could not serve us without a reservation. This is not a problem in itself, but it is misleading when it contradicts the information on your website.

We ate there with friends. Great selection of food, friendly staff. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely come back.

Very tasty food and friendly staff

The service staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was delicious, although the portions could have been a bit larger. The price was still reasonable, though. The restaurant itself is beautifully and authentically decorated.

I've been going to the Alte Wirt regularly for 13 years, at least three times a month. Unfortunately, it feels like my first visit every time: there's no recognition whatsoever, no friendly, personal word. Since many of the staff have been working there for years, this can hardly be due to staff turnover. Over the years, the service has deteriorated significantly in my opinion. You often have to wait a long time to be served, and genuine friendliness is sadly rare. Nevertheless, I still enjoy coming for the food, which remains very good.

It was our 2nd visit and I can't wait to visit them again. The food provides such a flavourful experience which goes beyond the usual for a Persian cuisine in Munich.
