Die besten Restaurants in Würzburg

The food was great. Brilliant burgers and fries. The employees were really nice and attentive. We were in the basement, which was really well furnished, although it only had high tables and chairs, but they were definitely suitable for sitting for long periods of time. Gladly again at any time.

Incredibly good food and a very, very nice host. Italian through and through! Fish and meat as well as pizza are excellent! Absolute insider tip!

Me and my friends ordered 4 pizza’s. After 20 something minutes the guy literally admits to us “I don’t know how to make pizza” so instead we got 3 pizzas and didn’t feel so well afterwards. One of the worst pizzas I have ever had! If you don’t know how to make pizza then don’t put it on the menu!

As always, the food was very good! S.R. the only thing I'm missing on the menu would be octopus, also as a salad! S.R.!

I had the Saltimboca and was a bit disappointed because the ham was as if welded to the meat and I didn't see or taste any sage at all, but that was probably just me. Another guest at the table looked different and you could also smell the sage.

I've never had Indian food before so I have no comparison. I thought it was good, but to be honest I imagined it to be sharper.

Very tasty kebab from very nice staff!

Would give 0 stars if I could. Delivery was on time, but the delivery person was very unfriendly. Without saying anything, he waits calmly in the yard and expects me to come down. After I checked that he wouldn't come towards me, I went downstairs. Then the container my food was in broke and half of the sauce leaked into the bag. After I pointed this out to the delivery person, he simply said that he couldn't do anything about it and that I should take the food now. Well, I thought maybe at least it tasted good. Unpacked my order. The gyoza were burnt, dry and inedible. The summer rolls were also some of the worst I've ever eaten. They are not served with this dark sauce as usual but with a fish sauce that tastes terrible. Then the highlight: the expired duck in Szechuan style. Terrible. The sauce didn't have a single szechuan peppercorn in it. It was a cheap (probably) ready-made sweet and sour sauce that tasted really terrible. In addition, it was a maximum of half a duck breast, which was fried to death and was drier than a pure tablespoon of cinnamon. I will never order here again and would advise anyone not to order here. Really terrible.

Unfortunately, we had to postpone our wedding due to the Corona situation. The castle restaurant behaved absolutely subterraneanly in this whole situation. Emails were not answered, and despite constant inquiries and requests for feedback, no one from the restaurant responded in any way. We were actually very satisfied in advance, we had planned everything wonderfully and the castle restaurant did everything great for us. We were even more disappointed with the handling. Of course the Corona period is difficult for everyone, but we were left completely alone. Any information about whether a new appointment can be arranged, how to proceed or any other information was completely missing. It's a shame, but unfortunately we now had to look for another location with which to plan our wedding for next year. Service-wise really incredibly disappointing.

I ordered via Lieferando. Unfortunately I have to say that I'm really disappointed, I had to wait almost 2 hours and the sushi was cut really strangely, hardly edible with chopsticks and the rice was very bulky/dry (I don't know how to put it) Maybe I'll eat there again to convince myself of something better, I probably wouldn't order again. At least the supplier was friendly and what you could taste of the filling of the rolls was also good :)

No question, the main reason for visiting the restaurant is certainly the great view over Würzburg within walking distance of the Käppele. I can't complain much about the quality of the food, it's always been fine for me. However, the size of the portions for the main courses is also rather manageable, but the price quoted is all the more hefty. The biggest drawback for me, however, is the service. There are a lot of untrained and sometimes completely clumsy people here. There is always loud chatter coming from the kitchen, which doesn't seem very professional. Guests are often responded to late or not at all upon arrival - there is clear potential for improvement here.

Die bestellten Pizzen "Calzone" waren eine katastrophe. Die sahen auch nicht wie eine Calzone aus, die waren ziemlich flach und schmeckten überhaupt nicht. Die Spaghetti und die Pizza für die Kids waren ok ebenso die Gnocchi. Schade, dies war unser erster Besuch in Würzburg (Durchreise) und wir hatten uns auf eine leckere Pizza gefreut.
