Mennas Time Out Gastronomie in Würzburg

I had the Saltimboca and was a bit disappointed because the ham was as if welded to the meat and I didn't see or taste any sage at all, but that was probably just me. Another guest at the table looked different and you could also smell the sage.

I've been looking for a favorite Italian restaurant in Würzburg for a long time. Time Out passed the test for the perfect pizza dough! The menu is clear but creative - there is a focus here and I think that's good. The pasta should be homemade, which also speaks for quality. I look forward to being able to consolidate my impression with further visits.

I don't really understand some of the "bad" reviews here. The food was great and the staff was nice. The onion roast was great.

We actually just wanted to spend a nice evening with our friend from Würzburg. But this was quickly spoiled for us by the unfriendly waiter. When we asked whether we could get pasta with ham and cream sauce for our 4-year-old son, we were very rudely directed to the menu. The children's menu is very manageable. My wife and I would have liked to order the Kaiserschmarrn without raisins, which is also not possible. (You don't need to expect a friendly "unfortunately not possible" here either). In a good restaurant, the question sometimes arises as to whether the food was good. Unfortunately, there was no answer here either. The female service, however, is very accommodating. We sat in the newer part of the building, where the pizza oven is. If you don't want massive food smells on your clothes, you should avoid this place. The food itself is edible, but not really anything more.

The service is the best I have ever experienced

Mainly Italian cuisine with a very interesting daily menu. I can only recommend the homemade tagliatelle with salmon in saffron-tarragon sauce. Overall, however, I would reduce the amount of cream in the dishes slightly. The service was very attentive and friendly. Reservation is essential. The outside area is beautiful and packed in summer. Things are looking bad with parking spaces. We recommend parking at the nearby Norma branch.

Were there for a family celebration on the holiday. Service was great. Food came pretty much at the same time.

We have been going to “Time Out” for years and have seen positive changes over the years: In our opinion, the quality of the food has improved (it was never bad), the selection, especially the daily menu, is great and to our taste. There is always something suitable, especially when it comes to the Italian-Mediterranean dishes on the table. The pizza is also highly recommended! I think it is well known that the place (beer garden with chestnuts and linden trees, but also the interior) is very cozy. Service is… inconsistent. At the moment, however, this can probably be attributed to the general lack of staff in the catering industry; This is no reason for us to stop visiting the restaurant. But, yes, you have to wait a long time or actively speak to the waitress every time you want to order something else. But: the owner deserves a positive mention ;-) While she used to be often unfriendly/short/annoyed, she is now much more attentive and present. That is nice! We always like to come back.

The pizza here was very good, the service was friendly and the location was pleasant. Near the sculpture garden at the foot of the Marienberg Fortress. It's very quiet. Has a playground for children.

We visited on Sunday to end the weekend relaxing. You can sit outside under the dense canopy of leaves and enjoy the delicious food. Unfortunately, the service was a bit rushed that day. The food, on the other hand, was really good and also the Pizza Diavola, really fiery. We have visited several times and are always happy to come back.

I can't share the bad reviews. We went there for a glass of wine on Friday evening and enjoyed it so much that we went there for dinner on Saturday evening. We were served quickly and friendly, the drinks came quickly and so did the food. The food was delicious and we would come back!

The food itself is very tasty, the service is nice but totally overwhelmed. What's really disgusting: when dusk fell, many rats appeared below the terrace and ran through the beer garden....!!! Disgusting!!

It's such a shame that more isn't made of the potential in the situation. And I can only assume that the unpleasant guest experience has to do with the management of the restaurant. What surprises me is the many positive reviews.

Nice ambience, but that's it. Rarely experienced such unfriendly service, price/performance, well, that's it.

The service left a lot to be desired. The waitresses were overwhelmed and unfriendly. Forgot orders (even after several notices), got them mixed up and forgot pizza toppings. The waitresses didn't even know which order belonged to which table or what they were actually serving. The glasses were touched from above and were completely dirty. The food did not come to the table as described in the menu and in general I have rarely seen or eaten such poorly “cooked” Italian dishes. My family also thinks so. Very disappointing and not recommended to those who have a certain expectation of delicious food and well-organized service!

Service non-existent. We sat down and right next to us a waitress was sorting/polishing the cutlery and no joke, she just ignored us for 15 minutes, didn't use a card, just didn't do anything. Maybe it's self-service or something, I don't know, but apparently the cutlery pays the bills. 0 stars.

Very tasty food. Recommendation: onion roast. Meat on point. Sauce wonderfully dark and creamy. Fried potatoes perfect, green beans crispy, without loss of color. Really really good.

We were there with a group and had reserved a table. Unfortunately something went wrong with the reservation. But we still got our table. It was very crowded in the restaurant, which is why it was actually quite loud. The food was very tasty. Pizza, starters and pasta, the pasta is also homemade and really recommended. The only thing that was a bit of a shame was that they don't seem to have any pizza krtons. We had the leftover pizza packed up. These were carelessly stuffed on top of each other and wrapped in aluminum foil. I definitely have to deduct something for this. This could have been solved better with a pizza box.

Unfortunately the service wasn't very friendly. No “enjoy your meal”, no “you enjoyed it”, no smile.

Very friendly and open service!

Unfortunately, we expected more from our visit. The pizza dough and the freshly prepared stone oven pizza are great, but the supposedly grilled vegetables, which in my opinion were blanched to the maximum, lost a lot of water on the pizza and then unfortunately had little or hardly any seasoning. When you grill vegetables or fry them, roasted aromas or grill marks are created, which unfortunately cannot be found here. Unfortunately the schnitzel wasn't a hit either, very thin and rather dry. A lot of breading in proportion. Quantity was ok. What bothered me a bit was the ambience. This is not due to the many guests in the dining room but rather to the noise of the kitchen and service. Dishes are piled up on the counter, there is a loud banging of schnitzel coming from the kitchen, the regular sound of a gong on the pizza oven. All in all, a rather hectic atmosphere. We will definitely come back as the restaurant has potential and maybe we just ordered the wrong food. I'm sure that pasta and the like can also be a recommendation here.

The store would also make a good impression in Berlin with its furniture, its busy-cool service and the great old sports photos (which isn't necessarily a praise, but it should be one here). The food was very good (e.g. the white pizzas), the menu wasn't too extensive, unfortunately the announced mussels were only available as remaining stock. Child friendly. But you bring time with you. And in a larger group, don't expect everyone to have their food on the table at the same time. That's the deal - it was a good one for us. Update Summer 24: Outside is also very nice, pizza 'Criminale', which you have to take a photo of and which is best described with the term 'tasty' and very nice service girls who don't lose track of things even during the European Championship round of 16.

Nice, quiet beer garden with delicious beer, fresh salad and very good schnitzel at reasonable prices. We really liked it, the ambience and the sanitary department were simply super clean and well maintained.

Five of us were there yesterday as tourists, around 5 p.m., the restaurant was empty. The waiter immediately took drinks and food. The first meal came and was also good, 2 of us had ordered a soup, which unfortunately was served very late, still lukewarm and even the main course came before the soup. 2 of us had already finished our meal before I got mine and the grilled salmon was also raw. The waitresses didn't ask us how it tasted and cleared the plates without saying a word. There were perhaps 15 guests in total by now, so you can't be overwhelmed? What do you do when the restaurant is full??? Unfortunately I cannot recommend the restaurant.

We have been coming to this place for 25 years and have been "Never" disappointed". We just eat there for my wife 50th Birthday and the food is even better. We will be coming back soon.

Super tasty pizza. Gladly again. Service was 1a and super friendly. The kids are also friendly and not annoyed. Gladly again.

Very tasty pizza/pasta. Original Italian! Pasta was homemade and pizza wasn't off the shelf either! :) We felt like we were in Italy. A real insider tip in Würzburg. Prices are not as expensive as in the center of the city. This store is worth a visit!

Were there yesterday with 6 people at 8 p.m., called beforehand, everything went smoothly. When we arrived, we weren't allowed to sit in the area near the glass front because the waiter wanted to close that area. There was no music and unfortunately it was really uncomfortable overall and people were forced to leave. He came and simply cashed us in an hour before the official closing time, turned off the lights almost completely and asked us to leave half an hour later. So unfortunately I didn't feel welcome at all. Especially since he noticed that it was a birthday and didn't even try to communicate why he wanted to close the store earlier. It's a shame because we liked it before, but are unsure whether I and everyone who was there would want to come back again.

The dishes on the changing daily menu are always worth a visit. There are also some delicacies on the main menu.

Conclusion: Really underrated We have been to Mennas Time Out several times in the past few weeks. First of all, because it was so conveniently close. But then because the food is really very good and varied. We always found several exciting dishes, especially on the weekly menu, so that we literally negotiated who would have what. And so far every choice has been convincing.

Food is good (4 out of 5 stars). The people are nice and the seating is very comfortable. I personally think it's too expensive.

I ordered bruschetta. It was toast with the edge cut off (that's what it looked and tasted like) with tomatoes that I wouldn't have used anymore. They were soft and no longer tasted fresh. The service was overwhelming and it took forever before we could pay.

The food was disgusting. Bruschetta was with toast bread🤨 the service was very unfriendly. It wasn't worth it at all. The man had packed the food with his hand.

Sind gestern in Würzburg durch Zufall an diesem Restaurant vorbei gekommen, eingekehrt und super freundlich mit leckerem Essen verwöhnt worden. Selbst mein Hund war willkommen. Preise sind absolut in Ordnung. Sehr empfehlenswert, das Putenschnitzel mit Salat

An sich sehr nett , Preis-Leistung passt. Am Freitag um 23 Uhr wollte der Kellner Feierabend machen.....eigentlich ist bis 24 Uhr auf. Waren noch 8 Gäste da. Hat dann schon mal abkassiert und angefangen, die Stühle hochzustellen. ......

Vor zwei Wochen besuchte ich Mennas Time Out Gastronomie in Würzburg, und es war eine kulinarische Offenbarung. Die Vielfalt auf der Speisekarte ist beeindruckend, und die Qualität der Gerichte ist außergewöhnlich. Die Portionen sind großzügig, und der Service ist äußerst zuvorkommend. Das Restaurant bietet eine angenehme Atmosphäre, die sich perfekt für ein Essen mit Freunden oder Familie eignet. Die Preise sind fair, und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist ausgezeichnet. Mennas Time Out Gastronomie ist definitiv einen Besuch wert.

Nicht schlecht, aber auch nichts besonderes

Das Essen war sehr gut, aber leider war der Service total überfordert. Wir waren dort mit einer größeren Gruppe und man musste ständig seine Getränke Bestellungen wiederholen, damit man dann teilweise erst nach einer halben Stunde sein Getränk bekam. Beim Essen sah es leider ähnlich aus. Die Servicekräfte keinen teilweise ihre eigenen Gerichte nicht mit vollem Namen, so dass bei einem Teilnehmer erst das dritte Essen nach über einer Stunde, das richtige Gericht war. Hier besteht wirklich enormer Verbesserungsbedarf. Leider sinkt dadurch die Stimmung enorm. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis war angemessen, hier gibt es keinen Grund etwas zu meckern. Das Ambiente ist angenehm. Note 3,3 im Durchschnitt. Ich war etwas enttäuscht, weil ich vorher nur Gutes über dieses Lokal gehört habe.

Das Essen war wie immer sehr lecker, gerne wieder.

Nice place the pizzas were a bit of let down but the pasta dishes and desserts were nice. For a family dinner it's a nice location with the playground and lots of space. Service was friendly and nice.

Essen war toll. Leider Chefin mit wenig Freude an dem Gast irgendwie.

Ein wunderschöner Biergarten und viel Platz in der Gaststätte (trotz vieler Reservierungen haben wir immer wieder einen Platz gefunden) laden zum Essen ein. Es muss nicht immer ein ganzes Menü sein. Auch die "kleinen Sachen" laden ein. Die Bedienungen sind freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es lohnt sich immer im Time Out einen Rast zu nachen.

Waren zu meinem 40jährigen Geschäftsjubiläum mit meinen Verwandten zum Essen. Das Essen war gut und auch der Biergarten ist schattig und lädt zur Gemütlichkeit ein. Das einzig Negative ist die Zuordnung der Bedienungen. Die Chefin nimmt die Bestellung auf. Die Essensausgabe ist aber nicht geordnet. Hier fehlen klare Logistikanordnungen. Es kann nicht sein, dass bei unserem Essen weiterhin Teller angeboten werden, die wir nicht bestellt haben. Hier ist echt noch Nachholbedarf. Sonst ist das Lokal empfehlenswert.

Das Essen ist in Ordnung. Der Service ist mal freundlich, mal unfreundlich. Im Außenbereich kann man im Sommer ganz gut ein Bier trinken. Für Kinder gut geeignet, da ein Spielplatz im Außenbereich integriert ist.

Das Essen (Pizza, Salat, Nudeln) waren richtig klasse! Leider musste man auf die eine Bedienung, die Bestellungen/Wünsche aufgenommen hat, immer recht lange warten. Es war aber auch ziemlich viel los...

Pizza Diavolo: War nicht vollständig gebacken. Teils zu hell und geschmacklos. Zu viel Salami und viel zu dick geschnitten. Die Salami war hart, weil sie von Anfang mitgebacken wurde. Irgendwelche getrockneten (italienische?) Kräuter haben normalerweise auf ner Pizza nichts verloren. Wenn einem nichts besseres einfällt. Gute Nacht. Das ganze Teil hat nur fade geschmeckt. Da hat die (kalte ) gegrillte Peperoni🌶️ auch nichts verbessert. 13,80 Euronen ist für solche 'Qualität' eine Ansage. Schöner Garten. Freundlicher u. aufmerksamer Service. 🙌(nicht die grauhaarige, etwas 'streng' aus der Wäsche blickende Dame). 🥴 "Hans geht unglücklich nach Hause" ☹️

Essen unterdurchschnittlich bis gut, Preise stark überhöht, Spielplatz sehr schön, Servicekräfte z.T. nett aber überfordert, wiederholt (und systematisch?) fanden sich nicht getrunkene Getränke auf der Rechnung.

Ein schönes Restaurant. Bedienung ist gut die Pizza war leider viel zu salzig für meinen Geschmack. Pizza Criminale. So salzig in der Mitte das es echt schon gegen ging. Kann mal passieren, würde ich aber nicht mehr bestellen. Der Kletterturm ist für die Kids ein Highlight.

Pizza und das Essen ist sehr lecker. Wunderschöner Biergarten und tolle Location. Nur leider klappt es öfter mal nicht, dass die Speisen gleichzeitig serviert werden. Ansonsten top!

Leckeres Essen, toller Service und schönes Ambiente. Vorallem als Familie fühlt man sich gut aufgehoben. Spielplatz, Kindergerichte und sogar Kindergetränke für 90 Cent.

Sehr schönes Lokal mit guter Tageskarte und leckeren italienischen Speisen. Der Biergarten ist wunderschön, denn man sitzt unter einem Riesenbaum. Die Parkplatzsizuation ist eher heikel, aber Bus und Straba haben in direkter Nähe entsprechend Haltestellen.

Mein Glas war schmutzig, hatten eine Pommes im Salat und geschmacklich haben wir unsere Gerichte als nicht gut empfunden. Meiner Meinung nach stimmt das Preis-Leistungs Verhältnis nicht.

Essen ist der absolute Hammer! Wir haben jetzt unseren Stammtisch dort, wo wir jeden Montag und Mittwoch sind! Chef super und die angestellt sind auf zack!

Essen und Getränke waren sehr gut und der Außenbereich ist sehr gemütlich und auch mit Kindern gut geeignet. Wir waren mir einer größeren Gruppe dort und hatten reserviert. Der Service war leider schlecht. Das Essen kam so, dass die ersten bereits komplett fertig waren und die anderen erst gestartet haben. Die Gläser und das Geschirr haben sich gestapelt und mussten von den Gästen selbst zur Seite geräumt werden. Auch Müll und Servietten blieben einfach liegen und das über Stunden. Über all das hätte man hinwegsehen können, wenn unsere Servicemitarbeiterin wenigstens freundlich gewesen wäre und man nicht auch noch angemotzt worden wäre. Echt schade...
