Friendly service and very good tapas at a fair price

Staff is overall a 6- (service staff) and the store will go under because of this. But I would also treat you to a little bit after the campaign. You know, we'll never set foot in the store again.

Been there for the first and last time. There were ten of us in the bar on Halloween. The cocktails arrived at the table over a period of about 40 minutes, despite the small number of guests. Drinks that arrived were watery or not the right ones. We still had to pay for the wrong drinks, even though we pointed it out to the waitress. But that wasn't the worst. A guest left early and paid for his drink in advance with a card. When the whole group paid, the same waiter couldn't or wouldn't remember. Due to the waiter's lack of insight, the guest was contacted by telephone. The waiter threatened to call the police in an impossible tone. Afterwards we left (all drinks were paid for). This store seems to have such poor organization, it's impossible for guests to be threatened and spoken to in a horrible tone even though they've done nothing wrong. I would recommend everyone to give this business a wide berth.

Warm beer on tap, I won't be coming back. ...OK for cocktails but nothing else

We ordered cocktails there with friends and were extremely disappointed!! Bottomless service. Parts of the order were forgotten and never delivered, wrong cocktails were delivered and had to be paid for later. We were supposed to pay for a cocktail that had already been paid for at the counter because one person in the group left early and an argument broke out. To be honest, the drinks didn't taste good either. Zero insight and unfriendly staff. Conclusion: I would avoid the store and look for one of the many better bars in Würzburg. NEVER AGAIN!!

I had the breaded turkey breast with open potatoes and sour cream. The meat was very tender and the salad including dressing was also delicious. Unfortunately, the service came a little too rarely or at very long intervals, but was very friendly.

Danger! under 25€, 2.50€ “service fee card” is charged here, I've never experienced that before

Very tasty food! The service was friendly, fun and quick. Only the toilets could be a little cleaner. Otherwise nothing to complain about!

I really enjoy going to Escalera in my free time! Great cocktails, super friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. I especially think the cocktail prices are fair. In other cocktail bars in Würzburg the prices for worse cocktails are higher! I will gladly come again! ✨

The cocktail course that was booked was really worth the money. Greatly explained and implemented. 👍 Patrick the bartender did a really great job. Everyone was extremely satisfied

The service was nice and the cocktails were good. Disadvantage: If you pay by card for less than €25, an additional €2.50 is charged.

Can recommend. Tapas were great. No food came. Mussel was very very fishy and cold. Were taken off the bill without any problem and offered a coffee. Price performance top

The cocktails were really tasty! Unfortunately the food was very, very bad. I had the breaded chicken schnitzel colada (I think that's what it was called) in a pineapple curry sauce. The chicken was definitely frozen and really dry. The sauce tasted like ready-made sauce. Even the rice was dry and not edible. The bean and corn salad was mushy and at the same time the red beans were half cooked. The meal cost €17.90. The service staff were very friendly, but sometimes it took forever for them to arrive. A pity...

Long wait and they never picked up dirty dishes or ashtrays from previous customers. Price a little high for the size of the cocktail.

Very great bar with great service! We were there at short notice yesterday and we were very excited! Thank you for the nice manner and the delicious cocktails in the late evening. We were very satisfied!

Not particularly fancy but ok for a little nightcap.

Came with reservation. There were several tables available and the three of us were squeezed into a very small table. Unfortunately the aperitif and cola tasted like water. I'm assuming it wasn't Coca-Cola, but syrup with water. Service was a bit sleepy. However, the food was very tasty. But basically far too loud. I/we wouldn't come again

We went here for dinner and drinks on Valentine's Day. Everything took a very long time, but we received an apology from the waitress right from the start that everything was taking a little longer because she was there alone as a waitress. Which we understood because we are waiters ourselves and know how strenuous the job can be. Food was very good except for the fried potatoes (really dry). Cocktails were very tasty. I think the prices are totally okay. The restaurant looks very chic and modern. But our waitress was the best thing of the evening (lady with dark curly hair and glasses). You're doing your job sooooo well! ❤️

Very cool bar for relaxed evenings

On a Friday evening we had cocktails there which were delicious. The cocktail menu offers a wide selection. It's a large open space with plenty of seating. However, it is very loud when everything is occupied. Due to the large number of visitors, it took a relatively long time until the service staff noticed that our drinks were empty and we wanted to order something else.

Cozy cocktail bar with good cocktails. Nice atmosphere thanks to lots of plants, large selection of cocktails. I haven't eaten anything there apart from small side dishes, as the selection of vegetarian dishes is very small! One point is deducted for the extremely sagging chairs - I felt like I sunk 20 cm yesterday because the chair was already so sagging. The menus are also very worn out. To be fair, I have to say that the price-performance ratio is good - the cocktails here are still affordable and cost less than €10. Then I'll happily accept it.

Cold cheese sauce with the nachos, disgusting cocktails, endless waiting times, no system. That's how I would describe this store...

Das Essen habe ich nicht probiert, die Getränke sind mit Wasser gestreckt und bei den Sühlen sind manchmal die Beine kürzer... Mein Kumpel hat einen Angestellten höflich auf diese unglückliche Situation aufmerksam gemacht, wurde aber nach kurzer Schilderung einfach ignoriert.

Ambiente, Cocktails und auch das Essen war grundsätzlich alles gut. Leider hat die Bedienung einen sehr überforderten Eindruck gemacht. Aufgegebene Bestellungen haben wurden teilweise vergessen oder falsch ausgeführt. Nett waren sie aber trotzdem. Preis vom Essen teilweise auch recht hoch.

Nette Bar mit Tapas die auch ganz gut schmecken. Aber 2,50€ für Kartenzahlung unter 25€ ist nicht nur sau dämlich sondern auch verboten in Deutschland!

Bar war sehr überfüllt, hat sich aber auch schnell wieder geleert gegen 0. Leider wurden meine Ellbogen wund, nur durch das reine abstützen auf dem Tisch.

Tageskarte Fuego Mix war geschmacklich gut aber für den Preis etwas wenig und auch sonst ist die Qualität gut aber gibt auch bessere spanische Restaurants. Cocktails sind gut und man hat eine große Auswahl. Moderne Cocktailbar mit guter Stimmung, nur halt nicht günstig.

Heute oben im escalera gewesen, Barkeeper kennengelernt glaub Sam oder Saim sehr cooler Typ, hat uns gut untergehalten und sehr schmackhafte Cocktails geliefert. Top gerne wieder!

Seit 10 Jahren war ich mal wieder im Escalera ... eine Zeitreise zurück in die Vergangenheit... danke Escalera für die schönen Erinnerungen die wieder hoch kamen... gefühlt hat sich seit der Eröffnung nix darin geändert...

Food and drinks not that good (sours without egg whites or replacement ). Food mediocre. Music a bit too loud. Service and staff top class!

Lecker Cocktails zu fairen Preisen! Eine immense Auswahl an Tapas lässt keine Wünsche offen! Die Möglichkeit einer kombinierte Auswahl aus verschiedenen Tapas ist echt toll! Kleinere Portionen, dafür viel ausprobieren ist ein tolles Konzept. Leider gibt es einen Wermutstropfen, wir hatten beide Steaks bestellt, einmal medium, einmal medium rare. Beide Steaks waren durchgebraten, sehr schade! Ich (medium) habe mein Steak gegessen, es war überhaupt nicht zäh, was ja immer bei durchgebratenen Steaks unterstellt wird, es war halt nicht so, wie ich es bestellt hatte. Meine Frau musste ihr Steak zurückgehen lassen, was überhaupt kein Problem war. Anstandslos wurde ein neues Steak gebracht. Leider war ich mittlerweile durch mit meinem Essen, die Beilagen meiner Frau waren kalt um am schlimmsten, das Steak war wieder nicht richtig gebraten! Die Tapas hätten 5 Strene verdient, aber die Steaks waren trotz Topqualität auf Grund des total verpfuschten Gargrad eigentlich nur einen Stern wert. Service top, jederzeit aufmerksam, freundlich und überaus zuvorkommend. Fazit: Wir werden hier bestimmt wieder essen gehen, aber bestimmt bei Tapas bleiben, denn das ist eindeutig die bessere Wahl!

Das Essen war lecker aber: Preis Leistung stimmt gar nicht. 18 Euro für einen kleinen Burrito mit Salat. Der Burrito war vegetarisch mit günstigem Dosengemüse gefüllt. Ich erwarte da bei dem Preis etwas mehr. Würde ich so nicht nochmal bestellen. Ich bin satt geworden aber ich glaube für einige wäre die Portion auch zu klein gewesen. Service war nicht wirklich freundlich. Da geht mehr :)

Die Drinks sind gut. Das Problem ist, dass es lediglich eine Servicekraft gibt, welche nicht in der Lage ist, die Getränke in einer angemessenen Zeit an den Tisch zu bringen. Ein bisschen Unterstützung für die alleingelassene Servicekraft wäre wünschenswert.

Preis Leistung sehr schwierig Einzuordnen. Personal nett aber etwas im Stresss daraus kleine Leichtsinnsfehler bei der Bestellaufnahme und beim bringen

A fine bar and restaurant with a nice ambience but not cozy. It is mostly crowded during the weekends and it was next to full when we arrived here. The drinks are fine, the service is really nice and attentive. We did order vegetarian tapas and it was good. Everything that came on the plate was tasty. I still did not like the place that much. Not my type of the place.
