A very nice restaurant, super friendly staff in a rustic atmosphere. The pizza was great and special requests for the food were responded to in a friendly manner. We also like to come back in the summer to sit outside.

Just had a meal, very friendly, our hind got something too, food 37B was great. This is the second time we've been there and we'd love to come back.

Great food in a real country inn - that's why I love traveling in the Altmühltal and the surrounding area.

With doner kebab 🥙 only here on Sundays, it was super delicious: crispy bread, doner with plenty of meat, exotic toppings, and a great sauce. The place is nice and warm, not too crowded. I'll be back. -Sundays. Parking on Sundays at Korn stationery and bookstore; there's space there 😉😇🥰🤗

Down-to-earth, delicious, and affordable food. No argument if you "just" order spaetzle with sauce and a side salad. Thank you! Franconian Sauerbraten (sauerbraten) was delicious: tender meat, very rich, the sauce just right, not too sour, and the consistency was great. We didn't have to wait too long for the food either, about 20 minutes.

My wife ordered a minced meat lasagna. Unfortunately she only got cream sauce and a plate of pasta in between. No trace of minced meat. An Italian lasagne looks different. The lasagne was defended as an original Italian.

I ordered 5 pizzas but only picked up 4. One was forgotten to make. What's on offer is a disgrace. The invoice in the appendix

I can't really say anything about Mocambo. In fact, whenever I planned something there, the message “temporarily closed” (3*) was displayed on Google. An arrangement for a group meeting with an employee also ended in front of the locked restaurant. Simply annoying because we are looking for a meeting again and find the same reference on Google.

Very nice beer garden with a beautiful view. Unfortunately there is no wheat beer.

The restaurant was renovated in March 2025 and has now switched from international/Spanish cuisine to modern Franconian dishes. The food remains excellent, with good quality and very generous portions. Fast service and a friendly host. Hospitality is still a priority here. In my opinion, one of the best restaurants in the Altmühl Valley. Reservations are recommended, as it's usually very busy.
