We received a very friendly welcome on a Monday evening. We hadn't made a reservation and got one of the last seats. The staff were friendly from the moment we entered until we left, even though it was packed! I've rarely been served so warmly. The food was delicious. The restaurant is very cozy. Highly recommended – and make a reservation in advance!

We've been there twice now (on the outward and return journeys of our bike tour) and were very satisfied both times. Excellent food, friendly service, and very comfortable seating. The value for money is top-notch, and the dessert was amazing... If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

Clean rooms for 35€ a night, super delicious food from 10€ and really nice people, I really like it there, the train station is less than 10 minutes walk away and Treuchtlingen is also very nice

We had a T-bone steak 🥩 and a dry-aged filet and were not disappointed. Quite the opposite; it was delicious 🤤. The service was also very good. We can recommend it with a clear conscience.

The restaurant was renovated in March 2025 and has now switched from international/Spanish cuisine to modern Franconian dishes. Still excellent food with good quality and very good portions. Fast service with a friendly host. Hospitality is still maintained here. In my opinion one of the best restaurants in the Altmühltal. Reservations are an advantage as they are usually very busy.

My wife and I have been going to the Wallmüllerstuben for about 10 years now. We have always been very satisfied. Whether with the food, the service, or the ambiance. Yesterday was our first visit since the reopening, and for the first time, we are disappointed. This is no longer the Wallmüllerstuben we knew and loved. Even though the menu was perhaps a bit overcrowded before, it was still something special to eat there because the food was simply good! Unfortunately, the restaurant has increased its prices considerably, but some of the new dishes don't really justify this. Personally, I very much hope that the Wallmüllerstuben will return to the way it was before the reopening at some point.

I think it's a pity that there are no more tapas but the other things taste good too

After the renovation, the gap between price and performance has widened even further...the prices are unrealistic, the bread with the salad was old and all of that for a salad plate that cost over 20 euros...a shame, it was better before.

The steaks are excellent and are served with a small side salad. Medium was a bit overcooked, so it's better to order medium-rare.

Had dinner in the rooms or in the “beer garden” which is a bit crowded between the houses. Service very nice and attentive. Prices are high but reasonable, our portions were just as reasonable and really tasty. No fuss, no fuss... down-to-earth and tasty... very good, we really enjoyed it... thank you very much!

Lunch with my colleagues. The service was on point. No unnecessary waiting times for drinks and food. Had a salad with herb mushrooms. Delicious.

We tried the restaurant again as a family after switching to purely Franconian cuisine, unfortunately it was a disappointment. It took a full 35 minutes for our drinks to be taken and another 15 minutes for the drinks to be served. We had the food after about 1.5 hours, so not recommended for visiting a restaurant with small children. Price performance didn't suit us either: spaetzle with sauce that we didn't make ourselves, salad dressing from the bag. The salad with shrimps for a whopping €22 was missing bread, which was not delivered to us even after we asked. Aperol Sprizz for 8.50 was apparently made with water, not Prosecco, at least it tasted that way. The operating staff seems overwhelmed and completely unstructured. The facility has been massively cleared out compared to before, but we still don't find it inviting. We will avoid this restaurant in the future.

The food was very good and worth the price. There was a deduction for the service, which was actually very good, because the Kraft miscalculated my bill to my disadvantage.

Food (two kinds of deer) was very good and sufficient, the bread dumplings were a bit too watery. The service was attentive and friendly. The menu is overwhelming and very confusing. 5 pages of German main dishes alone, including a “weekly menu”. Far too much choice, you almost can't decide what to take. The ambience should be revised. Although there are 5 windows in the guest room, it is very dark. The furniture is getting very old... When it comes to the "decoration" you feel like you're at the flea market or in the jungle because of all the plastic plants and lianas.

The Franconian/German food is very good. Steak hit perfectly. My friends' tapas could be improved, there was too much confusion on the plate. I would choose one direction as a restaurant. Had "The Wheelbarrow", a potted meal served on a wooden wheelbarrow with fried potatoes. The food was generous but slightly salty but that's a matter of taste. In terms of ambience, there should be less decoration in the room as some plants have already died.

Unfortunately we didn't have a clean tablecloth & the folded napkin was dirty. In general, the atmosphere is very outdated and the restaurant is too dark. The many plants resemble a small jungle. The staff was friendly and polite. My turkey schnitzel in cornflake breading was soft and tasted good. Something urgently needs to be changed in the ambience so that it looks more modern in the future and attracts more guests.

The absolute hammer have been there 3 times now and always top food, the hammer, very good portion, everyone here is full. Service is great, fast, friendly, accommodating, no problem at all, even with small children!! 15⭐️Top I'm looking forward to coming again today.

I stumbled upon this restaurant thanks to the nearby train station, but stepping inside was the right choice! The staff here is incredibly friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious. If you're in the area, you definitely have to check it out! 😊

Shady beer garden, somewhat carelessly prepared. Parking is very poor in the city. Food: had Franconian Schäuferle with 2 small dumplings for €18.90, very expensive. The Schäuferle was very dry and could have been warmed up. Service: Very attentive, we also asked if everything was OK. Conclusion: You can go, but very expensive. Price & performance are not justified. Absolutely unsuitable for children and wheelchairs. Right on the main street, everything is very narrow. Greetings from Treuchtlingen.

Guest room quaint and cozy. Beer garden is reminiscent of a Mediterranean vacation. Chairs and benches available. Service quick and friendly. Unfortunately, fish soup was appealingly good but unfortunately totally over salted. If they only ate half, a note would be made to service, but they still had to pay. Warm tapas places were visually great, taste wise, well. Schäuferle with dumplings was a poem. I would order again immediately.

Top food at reasonable prices. I usually eat something with fish and I can definitely recommend it. But steaks or fillets are also great. The only thing I haven't been able to try yet is the paella, as it is intended for at least two people and I haven't had anyone with me who wanted to eat with me. But what is not yet can still be.

We eat here regularly. I also order something different almost every time and the food has always been excellent. The menu is very large and varied. The service is friendly and competent. The beer garden in summer is cozy and the dining room is great and varied.

We became aware of the Wallmüllerstuben by chance. Our absolute favorite restaurant ever since. An incredibly large selection, and still really deliciously cooked. Very nice and attentive service, but the food didn't convince me. The fried potatoes in particular were rather dead potatoes and not enough. The "wheelbarrow" was delicious, but I was still missing the vegetables as a side dish. The desert was worlds better and very tasty and large

Paella rice cooked far too long and hardly any meat

Ich war gestern mit meinem Mann, weil wir einen Gutschein geschenkt bekommen hatten, beim Abendessen. Leider war es nicht so toll. Meinem Mann seine Bratkartoffeln waren kalt und bei mir fehlte die Gemüsebeilage. Die schwarzen Stellen an den Hirschmedaillons schmeckten bitter. Mit der Servicekraft über die fehlende Beilage gesprochen, es hieß sie lassen sich was einfallen. Zuletzt nix bekommen und die volle Rechnung bezahlt. 😔 Das Gleiche ist uns letztes Jahr vor Weihachten, da waren wir zu viert, auch schon passiert. Sehr schade und enttäuschend!

Wir waren gestern mit 8 Personen dort essen. Es war ein wunderschönes Ambiente, liebevoll (weihnachtlich) dekoriert und herzliche und überaus freundliche Gastgeber. Die Speisekarte zeigte ein riesiges Angebot aus spanisch-deutscher Küche und für jedermanns Geschmack war etwas dabei. Optisch waren die unterschiedlichen Speisen sehr schön angerichtet und geschmacklich 🔝 👍Einen Mini-Punkt würde ich vielleicht abziehen, da alles ein bisschen teuer war und ich würde gerne öfter dort essen gehen….

Sehr leckeres Essen, allein der Beilagensalat schon war sehr aufwändig und liebevoll angerichtet, mit mindestens 10 verschiedenen Zutaten und einem leckeren Dressing, die warmen gemischten Tapas waren lecker, das Jägerschnitzel auch. Wirklich empfehlenswert zum gut Essen 🙂

Schöne, alte, Wirtschaft. Viel Holz, Grün. Mir gefiel es. Das Essen, Pfifferlinge und Schnitzel mit Spätzle in Rahmsoße und Beilagensalat für 19,50€ war sehr lecker. Pfifferlinge reichlich. Könnte 2€ weniger kosten.

Zentral gelegen, ein nett und zuvorkommender Familienbetrieb. Wahnsinns gutes Essen/Gerichte. Definitiv zufriedenstellend.
