Super fränkische Küche in einem netten Hinterhof, seitlich zur Straße gelegen. Uns hat es gut gefallen und die Bedienung ist schnell, obwohl sie allein ist.

Fränkische Gerichte: es hat alles super geschmeckt!

Auf unserer Radtour gingen wir Samstagmittag in den Biergarten der Wallmüllerstube. Eigentlich wollten wir fränkische Küche essen, aber als wir in der Menükarte die spanischen Gerichte sahen entschlossen wir uns für den spanischen Spiess. Die Zubereitung dauerte etwas, aber das Warten hat sich gelohnt. Das Gericht war sehr gut zubereitet, mit Knoblauch und zwei leckeren Sossen und den klassischen salzigen Kartoffeln - sehr authentisch. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut - wirklich empfehlenswert. Macht weiter so.

Wir waren in Männerrunde im sehr schönen Altmühltal 05/2026 wandern. Da haben wir Eure Gaststätte gefunden. Anfangs wollten wir nur den ersten Abend mal vorbei kommen, aber wir waren dann jeden Abend bei Euch. Weil es einfach angenehm, mit wirklich gutem Essen war. Die umfangreiche Karte ist einfach nur der Hammer. Dass der Chef hier selbst kocht und alles schmeckt, und dann noch zum angemessenen Preis, alle Achtung! Das ehrt wirklich das Frankenland. Er kommt dann auch noch als Chef selbst zum Gast 👍 Die wirklich sehr nette Bedienung wollen wir hier auch nicht vergessen. Wenn wir wieder in der Gegend sind kommen wir sehr gern bei Euch vorbei👍🍀🍻

Wir waren während unseres Urlaubs zweimal hier. Das Essen ist mega lecker, der Service ist sehr freundlich. Die Portionen sind wirklich groß, die Preise sind völlig in Ordnung.

Wir standen mit dem Wohnmobil in Treuchtlingen und sind durch die Stadt spaziert auf der Suche nach einem leckeren Essen. Das Restaurant fiel uns auf und wir hatten mit Glück einen Tisch bekommen. Bestellt haben wir Schäuffele mit Kraut und Kartoffelknödel, das war sowas von lecker, dazu ein genauso leckeres Bier. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und das Ambiente urig. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Ruhige und angenehme Atmosphäre, ich war allein im Restaurant.

Für uns wurden extra Spareribs gemacht. Die Ribs waren sehr lecker und absolut nicht zu wenig. Der Chef ist ein richtiger Wirt und setzt sich zu seinen Gästen dazu. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Wirklich absolut empfehlenswert und in allen Belangen jede Erwartung übertreffend! Super Speisen, aus einem riesigen Angebot auswählbar, hervorragender Service, tolles Ambiente und einfach rundum seines Gleichen suchend! Ich war vor kurzem im Wallmüllerstuben und bin echt begeistert! 😊 Das Essen war super lecker und frisch zubereitet. Man merkt sofort, dass hier mit viel Liebe gekocht wird. Besonders die Portionen sind großzügig und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt total. Die Atmosphäre ist richtig gemütlich eine Mischung aus deutsch traditionell und spanisch traditionell , was echt gut zusammenpasst. Perfekt, um mit Freunden einen entspannten Abend zu verbringen. Auch der Service war top: freundlich, aufmerksam und schnell. Man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder und kann das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Das Restaurant wurde im März 2025 renoviert und hat nun neben spanischer Küche und Tapas auch hervorragende fränkische Leckereien wie resche Schäufele, Bratwürste und Rouladen auf der Karte. Weiterhin hervorragende Speisen mit guter Qualität und guten Portionen. Flotter Service mit einem freundlichem Wirt. Hier wird noch Gastlichkeit gepflegt. Nach meiner Meinung eines der besten Speiselokale im Altmühltal. Preislich etwas gehoben.Reservieren von Vorteil, da meist sehr gut besucht.

Haben dort richtig gut gegessen, Weissweinschorle ausgezeichnet. Preis auch ok. Kann man nur empfehlen

Auf der Durchfahrt Richtung Nürnberg eines der wenigen Restaurants, welches auch am Montagmittag geöffnet hat und es war eine gute Wahl. Das Essen war sehr gut und zur heutigen Zeit zu adäquaten Preisen. Da Personal ist freundlich und umsichtig, die Lage zentral und man findet leicht einen Parkplatz im Umfeld.

Ein gemütliches Gasthaus mit sehr freundlichem Service. Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis passt. Die Bierauswahl ist positiv hervorzuheben, auch bei den alkoholfreien Bieren!

Wunderschönes Restaurant im Herzen von Treuchtlingen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und es sind richtig große Portionen. Ich hatte ein Cordon Bleu mit Pommes, meine Frau Käsespätzle. Alles frisch gemacht und die Käsespätzle noch mit echtem Bergkäse. Kann ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen. 😊

Ich war oft schon mit meiner Oma dort essen. Ich finde das Ambiente sehr schön, es ist gemütlich, ein klein wenig verschachtelt aber es fühlt sich an als würde ich in ein gemütliches Wohnzimmer kommen. Das Essen ist Mega lecker, die Bedienung sehr sehr freundlich und man kann Fragen zu den Gerichten stellen wenn man sich unsicher ist. Sehr empfehlenswert dort essen zu gehen.

Das Ambiente, die Freundlichkeit des Personals sowie das Essen ist einmalig. Wir lieben so urige Restaurants und auch gutes Essen, wir waren auch gleich zwei Tage hintereinander zum Essen. Wir wünschen dem Chef mit seinem Personal alles gute für das Jahr 2026 und immer nette und freundliche Gäste

Waren mit einer kleinen Gruppe hier. Kenne das solide Lokal seit ca. 20 Jahren. Die umfangreiche Speisekarte enthält nun - wieder - Tapas wie vor der Umstellung auf rein fränkische Küche. Service : nett,sehr zuvorkommend. Location : gastlich,wie gehabt. :-) Alle deutschen Gerichte waren optisch ansprechend,ausreichend und auch geschmacklich zufriedenstellend. (laut Mitessern) Tapas Variation kalt/warm als Hauptgang : Leider enttäuschend. Der "kalte" Tapas Teller war unübersichtlich,gefühlt war da kaum selbstgemachtes zu finden. Warme Tapas : totfrittiertes ohne lohnenden Kern,Tintenfisch labbrig- lauwarm,Muschel schmeckte seltsam,Fisch geschmacklich blass und auch fast kalt. Aioli und frisches Weißbrot : sehr lecker. Würde das nächste Mal Einzelschälchen wählen.

Auch wenn der Ort abends sehr ruhig ist, hier geht das Volk hin. Kann ich nur weiterempfehlen.

Waren gerade zum Essen in den Wallmüllerstuben. Bestellten ein Wallmüllerstubenspieß mit Bratkartoffeln, sowie Ofenkartoffeln. Essen war liebevoll angerichtet und schmeckte sehr gut. Das Personal sowie der Chef sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Klare Empfehlung, wir kommen wieder.

Hatte heute das schäufele mit eines der besten das ich gegesen habe die sosse und die Knödel ein Gedicht und der Chef ist soooo sympathisch immer gerne wieder

Schneller und guter Service. Das Essen kan schnell an den Tisch und war sehr lecker.

Essen gut, aber lauwarm. Der Rest so naja. Salat zu viel Säure. Service freundlich, jedoch ungelernt. Kinderessen beim aufnehmen vergessen. Aussagen wie ich "muss erst essen wegbringen bevor sie ihr trinken bekommen" oder "wir haben uns für soviel Säure im Dressing entschieden" geht gar nicht.Dekoration unpassend für ein Restaurant in dieser Preisklasse. Am Nachbartisch hat ein Herr eine Kürbissuppe kurz vor 18.00 Uhr bestellt, da er sehr Hunger hatte. Die Aussage der Servicekraft war es dauert noch der Koch ist noch nicht da. In der Speisekarte leere Hüllen und mein Mann hatte eine andere Speisekarte als ich ( bei mir fehlte die Steakkarte). Immer noch viel zu viele Gerichte. Kinderessen kam auch sehr spät (Spätzle mit Soße) Aussage der Servicekraft, sie hat nur einen Koch in der Küche. Finde das Konzept von Frank Rosin wurde nicht wirklich umgesetzt.

Meine Frau und ich waren letzten Montag nach langer Zeit mal wieder essen. Wir entschieden und für Fuerteventura Wallmüllerstuben, da ich gebürtig aus der Region komme, jedoch noch nie im Restaurant war. Wir waren vom Service, der Geschwindigkeit des Essens und fie Qualität dahinter total begeistert!!! Es war sauber, die Bedienung Vanessa war super freundlich und wir empfanden es als sehr gemütlich. Ich werde mit meiner Belegschaft nach diesem guten Essen, dort unsere Weihnachtsfeier verbringen. Vielen Dank an das Team für das tolle Essen und macht bitte weiter so! 🥰

Hervorragender Service 👍 Essen schmeckt lecker

Nach Rosins Besuch läuft es mit gutem Konzept und super Ambiente! Ich wünsche Wallmüllerstuben viel Erfolg beim Neuanfang.

Waren seid dem Umbau durch Rosin´s Restaurants auf Kabel 1 das erste mal wieder hier das fränkische Essen schmeckt gut könnte aber etwas mutiger abgeschmeckt sein. Nur das Ambiente und die Sauberkeit auf dem Tisch ist noch ausbaufähig. Der Service etwas hektisch aber bemüht. Würde nochmal kommen aber ist nicht mein Lieblingslokal so.

Ich war mit meinem geschäftskollegen in diesem Restaurant essen... Wir waren total begeistert von Geschmack hören Fleisch und sogar von der Bratwurst... Es tut uns auch mal gut aus Stuttgart zu kommen als Schwabe junge und geschäftlich hier vor Ort zu sein... Aber das Essen war uns sehr wichtig und deswegen sind wir da an diesem Restaurant zufällig reingegangen... Mal was anderes als schwäbische Küche und es war sehr sehr gut und Personal war wunderbar sehr freundlich man fühlt sich wirklich wie zu Hause... Dafür gibt es 5 Sterne... We received a very friendly welcome on a Monday evening. We hadn't made a reservation and got one of the last seats. The staff were friendly from the moment we entered until we left, even though it was packed! I've rarely been served so warmly. The food was delicious. The restaurant is very cozy. Highly recommended – and make a reservation in advance!

Was there on Tuesday and was disappointed. It tasted only mediocre. I had fond memories from previous years of a very tasty meal. What a pity

Clean rooms for 35€ a night, super delicious food from 10€ and really nice people, I really like it there, the train station is less than 10 minutes walk away and Treuchtlingen is also very nice

We've been there twice now (on the outward and return journeys of our bike tour) and were very satisfied both times. Excellent food, friendly service, and very comfortable seating. The value for money is top-notch, and the dessert was amazing... If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back!

We had a T-bone steak 🥩 and a dry-aged filet and were not disappointed. Quite the opposite; it was delicious 🤤. The service was also very good. We can recommend it with a clear conscience.

A good restaurant with friendly service and excellent food. In addition to Franconian cuisine, this includes international dishes such as steaks and even tapas. The restaurant itself is rustic and cozy, if a bit dark.

The restaurant was renovated in March 2025 and has now switched from international/Spanish cuisine to modern Franconian dishes. Still excellent food with good quality and very good portions. Fast service with a friendly host. Hospitality is still maintained here. In my opinion one of the best restaurants in the Altmühltal. Reservations are an advantage as they are usually very busy.

Very friendly and fast service. The shoulder of pork was superb... My wife had turkey steak with sweet potato fries... That was also superbly seasoned and juicy... She loved it!!! A definite recommendation!

My wife and I have been going to the Wallmüllerstuben for about 10 years now. We have always been very satisfied. Whether with the food, the service, or the ambiance. Yesterday was our first visit since the reopening, and for the first time, we are disappointed. This is no longer the Wallmüllerstuben we knew and loved. Even though the menu was perhaps a bit overcrowded before, it was still something special to eat there because the food was simply good! Unfortunately, the restaurant has increased its prices considerably, but some of the new dishes don't really justify this. Personally, I very much hope that the Wallmüllerstuben will return to the way it was before the reopening at some point.

I think it's a pity that there are no more tapas but the other things taste good too

After the renovation, the gap between price and performance has widened even further...the prices are unrealistic, the bread with the salad was old and all of that for a salad plate that cost over 20 euros...a shame, it was better before.

The steaks are excellent and are served with a small side salad. Medium was a bit overcooked, so it's better to order medium-rare.

Had dinner in the rooms or in the “beer garden” which is a bit crowded between the houses. Service very nice and attentive. Prices are high but reasonable, our portions were just as reasonable and really tasty. No fuss, no fuss... down-to-earth and tasty... very good, we really enjoyed it... thank you very much!

Lunch with my colleagues. The service was on point. No unnecessary waiting times for drinks and food. Had a salad with herb mushrooms. Delicious.

We tried the restaurant again as a family after switching to purely Franconian cuisine, unfortunately it was a disappointment. It took a full 35 minutes for our drinks to be taken and another 15 minutes for the drinks to be served. We had the food after about 1.5 hours, so not recommended for visiting a restaurant with small children. Price performance didn't suit us either: spaetzle with sauce that we didn't make ourselves, salad dressing from the bag. The salad with shrimps for a whopping €22 was missing bread, which was not delivered to us even after we asked. Aperol Sprizz for 8.50 was apparently made with water, not Prosecco, at least it tasted that way. The operating staff seems overwhelmed and completely unstructured. The facility has been massively cleared out compared to before, but we still don't find it inviting. We will avoid this restaurant in the future.

The food was very good and worth the price. There was a deduction for the service, which was actually very good, because the Kraft miscalculated my bill to my disadvantage.

Food (two kinds of deer) was very good and sufficient, the bread dumplings were a bit too watery. The service was attentive and friendly. The menu is overwhelming and very confusing. 5 pages of German main dishes alone, including a “weekly menu”. Far too much choice, you almost can't decide what to take. The ambience should be revised. Although there are 5 windows in the guest room, it is very dark. The furniture is getting very old... When it comes to the "decoration" you feel like you're at the flea market or in the jungle because of all the plastic plants and lianas.

The Franconian/German food is very good. Steak hit perfectly. My friends' tapas could be improved, there was too much confusion on the plate. I would choose one direction as a restaurant. Had "The Wheelbarrow", a potted meal served on a wooden wheelbarrow with fried potatoes. The food was generous but slightly salty but that's a matter of taste. In terms of ambience, there should be less decoration in the room as some plants have already died.

The taste is very good, the prices are quite high, the menu is completely overloaded, it is difficult to find the right one. Friendly service. Ambiance: everything is full of decorations, plants... This makes the room seem very dark. Everything is also a bit dusty. The tables aren't really clean.

Unfortunately we didn't have a clean tablecloth & the folded napkin was dirty. In general, the atmosphere is very outdated and the restaurant is too dark. The many plants resemble a small jungle. The staff was friendly and polite. My turkey schnitzel in cornflake breading was soft and tasted good. Something urgently needs to be changed in the ambience so that it looks more modern in the future and attracts more guests.

Unfortunately, the Wallmüllerstube restaurant has a very dark/oppressive atmosphere. The service is friendly and the boss himself always checks that everything is going well. Unfortunately the food wasn't that good, the side dish was warm, the main course was unfortunately cool and bland. Price/performance is not right here for me. Menu way too much choice.
