I would have liked to give a review, and we even received several recommendations for this location. On Easter Sunday evening the inn was simply closed, no sign outside, dark inside.
Hmmmmm, ....., what a shame 😪😪
This little gem is really worth checking out. The conditions are friendly, helpful and move like shadows through the restaurant. Do not disturb and are focused on the well-being of the guests.
The food is delicious, Linbu Bani is a soda drink that is very tasty and can compete with the Vitnamnesen in Hamburg.
The atmosphere is also very nice and we suspect that all the decoration actually comes from India, but we didn't ask.
The restaurant is not worth recommending because it is not known whether you can eat a meal and whether it will be open on a given day, i.e. disregard for the customer. The cook is not time-conscious, long waiting time for the meal, poor menu and wine list. In return, I recommend Castello Restaurant - fast, efficient and tasty
Pizza is very German and is baked beautifully, but the pond doesn't rest for too long, so it's very heavy on the stomach. Pasta dishes are made with cream. Good Italians cook without cream
The food is very good and the service is impeccable, when we were there there were two women, one at the bar and the other as a server, the atmosphere was full to the last seat including the next room and they mastered it and the cooking in the kitchen was quick and smooth, we didn't have to wait long for our food. Hats off, see you next time 😀😀😀
After a beautiful hike through the Seltenbach Gorge, the sun terrace invites you to enjoy the wonderful view over Klingenberg and the Main. We didn't eat there. But the drink prices are okay. The service was very nice and attentive. The freshly tapped Faust Hefeweizen is particularly recommended.
Addendum from May:
Today we ate here. It was outstanding. Portions to fill you up, everything fresh, very tasty and modernly prepared. Price-performance ratio is great. Gladly again.
I was pleasantly surprised! Our sushi shop not only offers classic sushi rolls, but also creative highlights like this sushi burger. Visually an absolute eye-catcher: The rolls are generously topped with crispy fried onions, refined with a spicy teriyaki sauce and a touch of mayonnaise - perfectly coordinated. The texture was slightly crispy on the outside and nice and fresh on the inside, with a good balance between rice, nori and filling.
Conclusion: Modern sushi with a twist – bold, delicious and definitely something special. If you want to try something different than standard maki, you should stop by here. Clear recommendation!
