Probably THE location for steak and salad lovers in the foothills of the Alps! We had lamb fillet and wild boar fillet. Price currently €35.50 each. Food is top. When it's busy, you sometimes have to wait for fresh drinks. Otherwise nothing to complain about. Reservation strongly recommended.

Postgasthof red wall family Gaukler you can only feel at home staff friendly and pleasant the food is very tasty Breakfast buffet very good and sufficient, rooms clean and comfortable, mountain ambience beautiful, what more could you want. Stopped in for lunch while driving through the area- places to eat are limited in the area. Service was good and they served traditional Bavarian fare. The food was good, but prices were a little high.

An extraordinary place with equally special food. This is sensational in Bayrischzell, a place where unfortunately more and more businesses are closing and nothing new is coming along. Sigi is an incredibly good host and caterer whose food, joy in cuisine and ambition I can only recommend to everyone. P.S Vegetarians should probably say this explicitly beforehand, but even then the food is worth eating 😍😍😍 ;)

It wasn't open at all today and we still got something to drink. They would even have offered us something to eat if we wanted ;)

Wir machen Urlaub in der Nachbarschaft. Haben in der Walleralm gut Mittag gegessen, tollen Apfelstrudel genossen und gerne Zeit dort verbracht. Insgesamt sehr zu empfehlen!

Where else should we, as the Brösel family, celebrate a birthday? What a dream afternoon/evening. You can leave the Schliersee on the left (outbound journey). Parking in front of the door, everything is well signposted. Weather perfect - the Brösel Alm did well for us. There was "only" one wedding party at the Brösel Alm - we had the entire restaurant on the ground floor to ourselves. A reception with a personal address that we have never experienced before! To eat - veal breadcrumb schnitzel - with a fine note of butter, - just the way we breadcrumbs like it ;-) . The “alternative” food is also GREAT, both in terms of taste and quantity. Friendly waitresses who immediately recognized if something was missing from the table. A gem that we will certainly visit regularly but again in the summer months of 2026 (special birthday) at the latest!
