The food was great, especially the tequeños. Highly recommended. Even Omar Rudberg recommended it.
Unfortunately, you can still taste the garlic sauce hours later, but that shouldn't stop you from eating it, as it was delicious.
However, there was no heating.
For our wedding at Kaltmühle, we chose Gavesi for our catering, furniture, and decorations – and we couldn't have made a better choice! The initial consultation and support as a couple was simply sensational: warm, professional, and completely hassle-free.
Our request for a vegetarian/vegan menu was implemented with such attention to detail and creativity that we and our guests were thrilled. The food was a culinary highlight, the drinks perfectly paired, and the service simply first-class – attentive, friendly, and always with a smile.
We are overjoyed that we chose you and will cherish the memory of this outstanding quality and your loving dedication for a long time to come.
THANK YOU SO MUCH! ❤️
We regularly order from La Fiume or eat there. The food is of great quality, tastes excellent and the prices are absolutely fair. But the service is particularly noteworthy. Here the guest is truly king and is served accordingly.
The cheese spaetzle are truly delicious.
The whole shop is in a good mood, and even when the store is half full, you can still have a great conversation.
First, the positive: There were two of us and we were seated immediately on a Saturday evening without a reservation – we were very pleasantly surprised. But that was it. We first heard about the restaurant thanks to a very impressive press article in the daily newspaper. But: The service was hopelessly overwhelmed, even though the place wasn't full. We were supposed to order without seeing a menu?!? The menu was straightforward (a DIN A4 sheet printed on one side = menu for this evening). The food was nothing more than average, on the lower end: a salad drizzled with ready-made dressing and no menu at the table, or at least no one asked for it. My steak, which was supposed to be medium, was so overcooked that you'd need good dentures to eat it. My wife's pasta dish was "killed" by cream. The ambiance was more like a restaurant in the 70s. Consequently, the value for money was not convincing (we didn't get anything to drink after dinner - no one else came.... After 35 minutes, we decided to stop the haphazard service by shouting (we never do that) to pay. We drove almost 35 kilometers just to the place - you can have the same thing anywhere - not again!
The restaurant no longer exists. We went there today. It's really unfriendly. If they close, they should also let us know that the restaurant is closed.
Very tasty, BUT for over €22, the veal schnitzel without salad and with a few fried potatoes... a small salad should be okay, and a small piece of bread...
The owners were incredibly friendly, and the doner kebab was delicious – with lots of fresh ingredients.
Thank you so much for the playdough! My son had a blast with it the whole car ride. 😁👍
