Today I visited the restaurant "Zum Stern", which is listed as an Italian restaurant on Google Maps. Unfortunately, my experience was anything but authentically Italian.
The positive:
- Friendly staff
- Attractive atmosphere
The negative:
- The pizza was a big disappointment
- Lack of authenticity of Italian cuisine
I chose a pizza as I was expecting real Italian cuisine. What I was served was far from that. The pizza wasn't fully baked in the middle and its consistency and bite were more reminiscent of pasta than a crispy pizza crust.
It is obvious that the chef is in dire need of training, ideally from a professional from Italy. If a simple pizza doesn't work, you don't even want to try the other dishes.
Conclusion: Despite the friendly staff and the appealing ambience, I cannot recommend the restaurant "Zu Stern" as long as the quality of the food, especially the pizza, is not drastically improved. An Italian restaurant should at least master the basics of Italian cuisine.
I've always liked it so far but today at the Christmas market in Ravensburg I didn't find it tasty...the dough was sticky and tasteless and very little Nutella in it...a shame

Ich war vor kurzem im Kervan Dönerladen in Weingarten und muss sagen, dass ich wirklich beeindruckt war.
Der Döner war absolut lecker. Das Fleisch war gut gewürzt und saftig, und die frischen Zutaten wie Salat, Tomaten und Zwiebeln waren knackig und geschmackvoll. Besonders gut fand ich das hausgemachte Brot, das schön knusprig und frisch war. Die Saucen waren ebenfalls sehr gut und haben den Döner perfekt abgerundet.
Der Service war schnell und freundlich. Trotz des hohen Andrangs wurde ich zügig bedient. Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und hat sich gut um die Gäste gekümmert.
Der Laden ist sauber und einladend. Es gibt genug Sitzplätze sowohl drinnen als auch draußen. Die Atmosphäre war angenehm und entspannt, ideal für eine kurze Mittagspause.
Die Preise sind fair und angemessen für die Qualität des Essens. Man bekommt hier definitiv viel für sein Geld.
Der Kervan Dönerladen in Weingarten ist definitiv einen Besuch wert. Leckeres Essen, freundlicher Service und eine angenehme Atmosphäre machen diesen Laden zu einem meiner neuen Favoriten. Ich werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

What happened to McDonald's?
The employees hardly understand you anymore since only foreign staff work there, so you don't have to be surprised if the quality decreases rapidly. The tables and floor are dirty but the staff don't clean it, instead they prefer to have 5 people standing behind the counter.
Throwing food horribly into the packaging really makes you miss it.
A visit to McDonald's used to be something special, but you really miss it!
Lasagna delivered quickly but still ice cold.
Lasagna with an excessive amount of minced meat wow.
Cheese tasted like nothing and was like a piece of cardboard.
No béchamel sauce and no flavor/spices in the tomato water.

Pizza Max first delivered the wrong pizza, and then, after we had to wait another half hour, there wasn't even a hint of compensation. Unfortunately, the pizza was also bad. The pizza dough probably wasn't fresh either. The delivery driver (an older man in our case) and the manager were rude and rude. I can't recommend it. This was the second and last disappointing experience with Pizza Max. I can't recommend it.
You can really enjoy burgers, Indian food is also delicious. The rest unfortunately not recommended! Salad without a lot of dressing and the schnitzels are a disgrace. Small portions and very poor quality.
Pizza was a 5/10 and almost cold after over an hour of delivery.
The piç driver is unfriendly and drank my coke on the way which, by the way, costs €5 (1L)
Absolute incompetence. 3 orders, 6 subs, wrong 6 times.
First of all - the new order terminals are a disaster. Ingredients are preselected, some of which cannot be deselected. If you're not careful, you'll suddenly have guacamole on your sandwich 🤮
First of three orders, date no longer known. Sub ordered as usual, but received with wrong toppings and wrong sauce - food was messed up.
Order two, mid-December. Order three subs in the app for pickup. I was there 10 minutes before I could pick it up. My order didn't appear on the new awesome screen. After 10 minutes I asked the staff and lo and behold - the food was already in a bag next to the cash register before I arrived, so of course it had been cold for a long time.
Unpacked at home to get the food warm again and lo and behold - there were only two of the three subs I ordered in the bag. And the two were also incorrectly topped, one with the wrong bread and one with the wrong sauce.
I wanted to call there to clarify this and lo and behold - no connection at this number.
The next day I contacted Subway's official customer service and lo and behold - even after weeks there wasn't even a response. They don't seem to care too much about the customers.
Today I ordered two subs at the terminal. Unpacked at home and lo and behold - wrong again, both of them.
One sub simply had olives on it, which ruined the taste of the entire sandwich. Salt and pepper were missing.
The other sub had onions on it even though it wasn't ordered. Paprika, corn, salt and pepper were missing.
