We were there for the first time to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The ambience is tastefully decorated and the outdoor area is clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, we have to make compromises when it comes to food. My meal (ox cheeks) was tasteful and visually of the highest standard. My wife had cordon bleu with fries. Fries are definitely socially acceptable, but for the price you don't want to eat them dry. Only after requesting was given plain ketchup and mayonnaise. At such a price you would have expected homemade ketchup sauce. The fries could easily have been confused with those from McDonald's. The Corden Bleu was ok. Otherwise definitely recommended with the necessary changes.

Nach einem schönen Bootsausflug und einem kühlenden Bad im Bodensee, wurden wir von meiner Tante und meinem Onkel noch hierher eingeladen. Seine Worte lauteten: „Wir haben da in einem schönen Kneiple reserviert.“ Zum Thema Kneiple, lieber Onkel, ich geh dann mal mit dir auf Tour, damit du den Unterschied zwischen Kneipe und Lokal kennenlernst, wobei, er weiß zumindest wo es schmeckt. Zum Thema „unfreundliches Personal“ möchte ich nur kurz beitragen, ja zu Beginn wirkte das Personal (glaube auch die Chefin) bei unserer Ankunft überfordert, jedenfalls saßen wir mit einer anderen Familie wartend an „unserem“ reservierten Tisch, ohne dass auch nur eine einzige Servicekraft zu uns kam. Erst mit eintreffen meiner Tanze und meines Onkels, und dem damit verbundenen Abzug der andern Familie wurden wir sehr freundlich bedient. Deswegen nicht die vollen Sterne, und auch der Preis der Essen war uns persönlich etwas zu hoch. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut, meine Frau hatte den Schweizer Wurstsalat, nein Sohn die Kinderportion Pfannkuchen mit Apfelmus (leider kam er ohne und wurde auch nicht mehr gebracht), ich hatte das Wiener Schnitzel, die Enkel meines Onkels hatten die „normalen“ Pfannkuchen bestellt, meine Tante und mein Onkel den Fleischkäse. Geschmack war bei allen sehr gut, die Portionen waren reichlich aber dennoch hätte ich tatsächlich etwas mehr Beilage erwartet. Ansonsten gab es nichts zu meckern. Ob wir selbst nochmal hier herkommen? Bestimmt!

A very good place for a nice meal. The pizzas are very tasty, but unfortunately visually plain. The pasta dishes are outstanding. Spaghetti with arugula was my highlight.

I couldn't be reached by phone for days, so I made a reservation via the website. I then received a reservation confirmation via SMS, where I had to click on a link (?!). Under the link I was informed that I would receive a confirmation by email in addition to the SMS. I didn't receive this. So now I have half a reservation?? When I went there in the afternoon to inquire about my reservation, the main door was locked (despite being open). I was then informed that society was closed all day. Not a nice surprise on Mother's Day. We are very disappointed and would have liked to have eaten there

I just ordered two pizzas today and specifically stated not to put any olives on them, which wasn't done, and the pizza delivery person had little to no knowledge of German, which made communication difficult, and was completely disappointed.

Wonderful place for a very good Mediterranean meal in a pleasant atmosphere and with good and friendly service. What more could you want? On top of that, the boss said goodbye to us by name after our first visit! We'll be back and are already looking forward to it...

We spontaneously went to the Taj Mahal for lunch this afternoon. The food was excellent, super fresh, very authentic and prepared with a lot of love. We have rarely eaten such good Indian food! We were served very friendly and even the chef / boss personally came to our table after the meal! We're happy to give it 5 stars and we'll definitely be back soon!
