Time and again, we're drawn to Schuppen 13 in Langenargen – and each time it's an unforgettable experience. The atmosphere right on the marina, the stunning scenery, the attentive staff, and the warm-hearted owner make this place simply magical. At first, we were there just the two of us, then with my pregnant wife, and now with our child – and each time we were recognized, appreciated, and welcomed with open arms. This personal touch makes Schuppen 13 something very special for us. You can sit there until late into the night in a unique atmosphere, sometimes even with fireworks over the harbor – moments you won't forget. For us, it's our absolute favorite restaurant and always worth a detour. We even make the hour-long drive there with great anticipation. A place that touches hearts and creates memories.

We were here for dinner in this very nice, upscale restaurant. An evening reservation would be very important in the summer months. The price/performance ratio is good, with very good quality, generous portion sizes, and excellent flavor. I had the rabbit, which was very tasty, and the risotto that accompanied it was also excellent. The appetizers were small but also delicious. We were served by a lady outside who was very friendly and accommodating. 5 ⭐️ We'd love to come back. See you next time!

I would give the service zero stars if I could. I've never been served so snippy and rudely in a restaurant (and especially one in this price range). Truly annoying and not a good advertisement for Schuppen 13. Even though we arrived at the restaurant on time, we waited about 45 minutes for our food. While it didn't look bad, it arrived cold. The pasta was still hard, not "al dente," and when we complained to the waiter, their only response was, "I have to move on now."

Great food but sadly really overshadowed by the terrible service. Slow, rude, didn’t receive all our food we’d ordered, extremely unhelpful when paying the bill. Real shame because it was a beautiful meal and setting!

We actually wanted to offer our guests something special with a visit to Schuppen 13 in Langenargen – unfortunately, it turned out to be a truly humiliating experience. • Waiting time: Despite arriving early, we had to wait 1 hour and 40 minutes for our food. • Service: Our inquiry received only a snippy response, showing neither understanding nor friendliness. • Food: When it finally arrived, it was cold and the pasta was extremely "al dente." Our complaint was again brusquely dismissed – no apology, nothing. • Portions & price: Very small, but completely overpriced. • Ambience: Beautiful as always, but unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect. With all due respect for the end of the season, treating guests like this is an outrage and can ruin even a good business in the long run.

We've been to Schuppen 13 several times and visited the restaurant again on Saturday evening with business friends (reservations for 7:00 p.m.). The location is truly beautiful, the ambiance particularly inviting. The appetizers were also served promptly and made a good impression. Unfortunately, the service overshadowed the entire evening. After the appetizer, we were ignored for a good hour – neither for drinks nor more wine. Only after two hours did we politely ask for the main course, while other tables had long since been served. The reaction was disappointing: Instead of responding professionally to our request, we were laughed at and fobbed off with the comment that there were 200 guests there and everything was freshly cooked. The waiter's remark that we could go into the kitchen ourselves was particularly inappropriate. He seemed personally attacked and made us feel this way until we left the restaurant. Despite everything, we tipped because we understand stressful situations. However, our subsequent offer to talk was ignored. Conclusion: Such an unprofessional and guest-unfocused experience significantly tarnishes the overall impression. At a venue of this caliber, we expect not only good food, but also service that takes guests seriously. Therefore, we currently see no reason to visit again.

There were three of us and we had a reservation for 6:30 p.m. We waited over two hours for our food. There was no apology from the waitress, and even after repeatedly asking, we received only a shrug from the extremely unfriendly blonde woman with a ponytail who was serving on the outdoor terrace. We paid €140 for three dishes (pasta, guinea fowl, and sea bass, along with two bottles of still water, a small side salad, and soup). Given its lakeside location, the place seems to be doing well. However, the name of the restaurant matches the unfriendliness of the waitresses, and despite the beautiful interior, it's a "dive" that I would definitely not recommend! If you want to experience an evening with incredibly poor service, cold food, a miserable waitress, and overpriced food, this is the place to be!

Despite having free tables, we were pointedly ignored while waiting in front of the terrace. After a long wait (while a line formed behind us), we left without having served anything – the guests behind us were served immediately. It was probably because of our appearance or our clothing.

We arrived on Saturday, July 15th, by sailboat from Romanshorn and spent one night at the BMK harbor. We had reserved a table for four a few days in advance. When we arrived on time that evening, the table was only prepared for two, and somehow it didn't seem clear that we had reserved for four, even though we had the reservation in writing (My tip: the reception could be improved on this point. Don't leave a bad feeling with the guests). Dinner at this beautiful restaurant was absolutely fantastic. The four of us had a lovely table on the terrace. The food, the service, and the ambiance were simply top-notch. We would love to come back.

Great location if you sit outside. Rather poor value for money. Long wait times. We went on a Saturday evening.

It was a wonderful evening with delicious food in a beautiful setting. I have to deduct one star, however, because the reservation process beforehand was poor. The response over the phone was so unfriendly and rude that we considered not coming at all for a while. I understand that it's stressful in the restaurant industry and immediately offered to call at a different time when it would be more convenient. The response was that we'd already disturbed them at work and I should hurry up... Provide me with a digital option for making reservations online, then I won't disturb you anymore, but at some point you just have to call to make a reservation. There's no preferred time listed on the website. Luckily, we kept our reservation and had a great evening that proved to us that Schuppen 13 is much better than the unfriendly receptionist on the phone. The service during dinner was very friendly. The same was true of the welcome and the farewell. The seating on the terrace is very comfortable, and there's enough space between neighboring tables to allow for quiet conversation. It's truly a great restaurant.

Very nice atmosphere and quite tasty food, but the portions were very small and far too expensive for what was offered. The absolute negative was the wait for the main course. It was over an hour... which doesn't match the price. And we also had to wait half an hour for a bottle of water because the waitress wasn't available... We probably won't be back...

Fine Mediterranean cuisine by the lake We had lunch at Schuppen13 in Langenargen – and were completely thrilled. The location right on the marina is stunning, the ambiance stylishly understated with a lovely terrace and a view of the water. The food was a hit: the homemade tortelloni with truffle – tender, aromatic, and perfectly balanced. The guinea fowl supreme came with an incredibly delicate sauce – a real highlight. Everything was freshly prepared and served to perfection. The wine selection was also very good and harmonized beautifully with the dishes. Our service was warm, attentive, and very pleasant – making you feel welcome as a guest. Conclusion: A wonderful place for connoisseurs – high-quality Mediterranean cuisine, a relaxed atmosphere, and great attention to detail. We'd love to come back!

Excellent restaurant. Try the truffle risotto. Too bad it was raining because the restaurant has a terrace overlooking the marina. Beautiful food, chef and staff speak French. Perfect service. Recommended by our hotel.

The establishment itself looks like a bohemia for yachting enthusiasts with an expensive picture in the background. But the service leaves room for improvement. You will be satisfied with a picture of the highest level with the chatter of utensils during the servery, a kind of pleasure combined with low care for the visitor. To describe the picture in more detail, we were served by a rather emotional lady who did not offer a wine tasting before choosing. Well, we ordered, it was brought to us, the wine tasted terrible. Warm beer is better compared to what we received. When we expressed our opinion and asked to be offered a different wine, we received a wave of emotional swings from the waitress. Starting with indignation at our negative assessment of the wine and ending with her relief at our agreement to pay for our wine choice. Our requirement IF YOU ARE A HIGH STANDARD ESTABLISHMENT, PLEASE PROVIDE A PROPER EXPERIENCE TO YOUR VISITORS. There is no need to express your dissatisfaction, but rather provide appropriate service. Waiters are the face of the establishment.

We went out to eat with the family today for Father's Day. Starting with the food, the prime beef was excellent and perfectly seasoned. The Parmesan truffle sauce was divine; I even took the rest of it home with me 😂. The service was very, very good, and the terrace and interior were very elegantly and stylishly decorated. You can feel the passion and love of the team, both in the service and in the food itself. High praise to the kitchen! We will definitely be back.

Wonderful place for a very good Mediterranean meal in a pleasant atmosphere and with good and friendly service. What more could you want? On top of that, the boss said goodbye to us by name after our first visit! We'll be back and are already looking forward to it...

The restaurants “Schuppen 13” and “Mahlereck” on Lake Constance are very popular among sailors and water sports enthusiasts. The Pusceddu family has been successfully running Shed 13 here for over 30 years and since 2013 they have also taken over the neighboring Mahlereck restaurant. As sailors, we choose Shed 13 because of its beautiful terrace right on the harbor. The interior also offers many maritime themes. Since the restaurant opened in a shed, it has blossomed into a country house-style gem and a classy Italian restaurant.

A bit stiff and posh, therefore a few euros too expensive. But after the first bite and a sweeping look over the sailing harbor, it's almost forgotten. Tastes good, looks good, and top service. PS: It's great that we were served in a friendly and courteous manner, even in full cycling gear and with two wonderful daughters, without any awkward looks.

When I walked into this restaurant I was absolutely amazed. The terrace at the harbor, the cute umbrellas outside, beautiful architecture on the outside, wonderful interior furnishings, everything like in a movie. The food and service exceeded our expectations. As a wedding photographer, I would be so happy to accompany a wedding here. 10/10 points!

Die Atmosphäre ist einzigartig – stilvoll, gemütlich und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Wir sind aus Langenargen und öfters dort - aber wenn was exzellent ist, sollte man es auch erwähnen. Ein besonderes Highlight war der Service. Simona hat uns mit ihrer herzlichen Art, ihrem strahlenden Lächeln und ihrer Professionalität begeistert. Sie war jederzeit aufmerksam, hat uns bestens beraten und für eine rundum perfekte Erfahrung gesorgt. Auch sehr menschlich - so fühlt man sich wirklich als geschätzter Gast! Simone berät sehr gut und scheut auch nicht, den Gast auf andere Optionen hinzuweisen. Wir fanden das sehr schön und lehrreich. Letztendlich entscheidet der Gast, aber Fachwissen kann das ja auch manchmal ändern. Auch das Essen war ein Traum! Jeder Gang war mit viel Können und Kreativität zubereitet – von der Vorspeise bis zum Dessert einfach ein Genuss. Die Qualität der Zutaten und die harmonische Zusammenstellung der Gerichte haben uns beeindruckt. Vielen Dank für diesen wunderbaren Abend! Obsession! I just love love the atmosphere, the food, the location! It’s one those fabulous, hidden (Bodensee) places that are hard to find not being in a city. The server was a tad rude, but she might not be there next time. Didn’t take any glam away. Big heart to owner who greets one warmly with a handshake. And the kitchen staff!!! I’ll be back for more!

I give full marks here. Admittedly the food is a bit more expensive but worth the money. The veal cheeks are a real treat and melt in your mouth. First of all, a small mixed salad and, for dessert, warm chocolate cakes with vanilla ice cream. Full and happy. I (a wheelchair user) was there with my family and grandchildren and we were given a nice corner table with enough space. Everyone enjoyed their meal! Many thanks also to the very nice waitress 😀

I would have liked to give it 5 stars. Ambience very appropriate and chic. Service top and very personable. I had the best truffle risotto of my life and the swordfish was also quite good. The Rinderbäckle is also recommended. But unfortunately the portions are far too small for the prices and the tables are far too close together. I was able to understand the people at the next table better than my wife across from me. There is only 50cm of space between some tables. Therefore only 4 out of 5. Otherwise really good, if there was a little more on the plate.

Over 70 minutes of waiting time for the main course even though some guests arrived later and had already eaten. The worst thing is that the “boss” didn’t understand the objection to the long waiting time and condescendingly said we should go and eat fast food. Incapable, very arrogant & the price/performance ratio is definitely not right. Unfortunately, the location no longer needs to deal with guests and complaints appropriately.

More appearance than reality! I would like to give 0 stars. I was very disappointed with my visit to this restaurant. The ambience seems appealing at first glance, but appearances are deceptive. The service was unfriendly and absolutely unacceptable. The waiter was rude and made no effort to make the guests' stay comfortable. Overall, the atmosphere was anything but inviting. I definitely won't come back and can't recommend the restaurant.

Wir haben einen wunderschönen Abend mit sehr freundlichen und entspannten Angestellten auf der Terrasse mit Blick auf den Jachthafen verbracht und waren sehr zufrieden. Auch die Qualität der Speisen war wie erwartet sehr gut. Natürlich ist dies keine Pommes Bude bei der Preisgestaltung, aber das weis jeder der hier reserviert. Ich komme auf alle Fälle wieder.....

Shed 13 has been my absolute favorite place for years when it comes to good food and a welcoming atmosphere. The service is always very friendly and attentive, the employees have been the same for years, their friendliness and attentiveness are remarkable. The quality of the food is always outstanding - every dish I've tried here has been a delight. What is particularly impressive is the creativity of the dishes, which always surprises and delights. Now in summer, the restaurant is a real insider tip: you can sit outside in the shade and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere. No matter whether you come for lunch or dinner, Shed 13 always offers a great place to stay. An all-round successful place that I can warmly recommend!

Choleric boss with airs and graces who probably has such a bad relationship with his employees that they don't tell him when you call to postpone your table reservation because trains are canceled. I will never go there again with business people or family because I don't want to risk such an affront happening again. He doesn't have himself under control at all.

Schrecklicher Patron mit Cholerischen Anfällen und einer kaum gesehenen Arroganz Hatten einen Tisch für 8 Personen reserviert zum Mittagessen. Aufgrund Zugsausfälle der SBB habe ich morgens angerufen und gesagt, dass wir leider eine Stunde später kommen werden. Mir wurde mitgeteilt, dass es dann nur noch die kleine Karte geben würde, was für mich ok war. Als wir ankamen, hat der Chef sich cholerisch aufgeführt, mit Zeigefinger mit auf die Brust geklopft und eine Schimpftirade von sich gelassen und sich von einer äusserst unvorteilhaften Seite gezeigt. Hat er seinen Laden nicht im Griff. Kann es sein, dass seine Mitarbeiter mit ihm nicht reden, weil er sich bei ihnen auch so bösartig, cholerisch aufführt. Dieses Erlebnis vor Familie und Kindern war nur peinlich und zum Kotzen. Keine Entschuldigung, keine Erklärung nichts Wünsch ich dies jemand anderem? Nein, gehen Sie einfach woanders hin.

Wir kommen seit Jahren immer wieder in dieses schöne Lokal .. Ich lese hier vom Personal das es launisch sei.. all denen sei mal gesagt so wie man in den Wald ruft kommt es retour schließlich muss auch ein Kellner nicht alles ertragen wahren schon ein paar mal Zeuge welch ungehobelte Göste es gibt… Zum Chef gibt es nur zu sagen er ist immer Höflich und bemüht… Das essen ist sehr gut und die Qualität ist hervorragend Danke an Stefie und das gesamte Team

Amazing nice place. It really has a style. The food is delicious, service good and ambience is relaxing and pleasant. The interior inside looks beautiful but still nothing can beat a nice terrace close at hand of marina in a summer evening. With all the richy vibe it has, the prices are not too high though. We enjoyed the dinner and are willing to come back one day.

I had the swordfish and was very impressed! The atmosphere is great and surprisingly there were hardly any mosquitoes on the terrace :)

Unfortunately, the food in this beautiful boat harbor restaurant was neither special, refined nor of high quality.

Hatte angerufen um einen Platz draußen zu reservieren - am Telefon wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass dies erst wieder in einer Stunde möglich sein - kein Problem. Wir sind dann einfach später hin. Angekommen, wurde uns auf der Terrasse irgend ein Platz im letzten Eck zugewiesen - es war auch nichts reserviert - alles war mehr oder weniger frei. Die Stühle und der Tisch war dreckig, daraufhin baten wir darum, uns umsetzen zu dürfen - war kein Problem - bis dahin alles gut. Mein Angus Steak war nett angerichtet, aber nichts weltbewegendes vom Geschmack her. Leider etwas zäh. Die Nudeln meiner Partnerin waren ebenfalls nett angerichtet aber mehr als nur al dente und waren einfach nur fad vom Geschmack her. Preislich beides in Ordnung. Alles in allem eher unterer Durchschnitt. Zu den Bedienungen: Man merkte sichtlich, dass beide sehr in Stress waren. Kleine Streitigkeiten untereinander wurden offen ausgetragen, so dass wir das als Gäste mitbekommen haben. Auf nachfragen zur Karte reagierte die Kellnerin mE etwas unfreundlich. Ein Gast hatte extra wegen Nüßen im Kuchen nachgefragt und als der Kuchen kam, waren scheinbar doch Nüße enthalten… bei Lebensmittelallergien kann so etwas auch schlimm enden. Als wir zahlen wollten, funktionierte das System nicht und wir mussten 20 min warten. Alle Gäste waren sichtlich genervt. Man kann niemanden dafür verantwortlich machen, aber es kann besser damit umgegangen werden. Man könnte es den Gästen netter mitteilen & vllt. um die Wartezeit zu überbrücken einen Espresso oÄ anbieten. Summa summarum alles weit unter den Erwartungen leider.

In the morning we looked online to see the opening times. 12pm-11pm. We took an hour's drive and when we were there at 3:30 p.m. to have a drink, the garden was still half full and they wouldn't let us in! Response from staff, you need to prepare for the evening. In the last few years I have eaten there very often with my boat colleagues because the location is great! The food was never great, average at best. I will never visit you again!

I have been coming to this beautiful house by the lake for several years and am always amazed by the cozy and very special atmosphere there. The welcome is always very warm and you feel welcome at any time. Even if all tables are already occupied or reserved, the boss always tries to find a place or explains in his calm, level-headed, friendly manner that if it is simply not possible, not even at a later point in time. The hosts and their staff are always extremely warm and attentive. Yes, and the food! Simply sensational and consistently excellent. It is always a culinary delight at the highest level and always so special to be able to sit there, in the restaurant or in the summer on the beautiful terrace in the small harbor, and enjoy very good food and the atmosphere. Thank you for having Shed 13.

Definitely one of the best Italian restaurants on Lake Constance. Beautiful terrace, great dishes, especially fish and very good staff. Always very busy in summer, reservations are recommended. Also worthwhile in winter, you can sit comfortably inside. Anyone who comes to the port area by car receives a ticket for free exit.

We were greeted with a handshake by the boss even though it was our first time in the shed. The ambience is great and everything is decorated with attention to detail. We opted for daily specials that weren't on the menu. An absolute culinary delight. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We were definitely not there for the last time.

Service was beyond any expectations, waiter was patient and explained multiple times any doubts we got. Frau waiter takes care for bringing kids food and drinks. We took countless variations of first dishes and 2 versions of kids menu, and surprisingly kids finished all of it. 2 soups were more then tasty, beer and wine selection was exactly what we needed Main Course, we took 6 different dishes and all 6 were wonderful, gnocchi that i took, were beyond any expectations from Germany. The taste, the structure, the sauce. I can clearly say the that there were not too many places where i enjoyed so much. Fish both kinds served beautifully and tasted great. If you’re on the lake, you must pay a visit and enjoy the atmosphere, the service and the taste. Till now the best place I’ve visited in the entire Bavaria trip

Schöner Tag im Schuppen13 - super netter und sympathischer Service von Steffi, essen war wirklich extrem gut, an die Bolognese hier kommt fast nichts ran. Mit Blick auf den Hafen ist es hier wirklich sehr gut aushaltbar!

Arrogant und "hochnäsiger" Chef, alles andere als zuvorkommend. Kein Entgegenkommen, keine Bemühungen für ein kurzes Abendessen einen Tisch bereitzustellen obwohl das Restaurant nur zu 1/5 besetzt war.

Sehr schade, dass man dort nie ein Platz bekommt und Monate vorher reservieren muss, und nie kurzfristig Tische frei sind.

Wir waren wieder hier und jedesmal sind wir von der Lage und dem Ambiente des Schuppen 13 angetan. Bester Service, sehr leckere Gerichte und Aperitife. Sehr empfehlenswertes Lokal am BMK Yachthafen. Danke liebes Schuppen 13 Team.

Großartiges Restaurant, großartiger und zuvorkommender Service, großartiges Ambiente, sucht seines gleichen. Ich empfehle vorher zu reservieren.

Es war ok... Aber bei dem Preis erwarte ich mehr als das. Und die Sprite komplett ohne Kohlensäure wurde nur achselzuckend zur Kenntnis genommen. Aber zumindest tolles Ambiente.

Super Lokal - super Lokation! Die Preise sind für die Qualität und Menge angemessen. Bedienung (Irene) seit Jahren megafreundlich. Kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Das Essen war grandios, der Service Spitzenklasse, danke Steffi, das Ambiente sehr gemütlich , wir hatten einen wundervollen Abend und kommen sicher wieder.

Immer unser Lieblingsziel,wenn wir am Bodensee sind. Wenn die Anfahrt von Überlingen im Sommer nur nicht so lange dauern würde.

Schade, dass man lange warten muss bis man zum reservierten Tisch geführt wird. Ist unangenehm wenn die ganze Terrasse einem durchleuchtet 🙈☺️

Wenn man etwas besonderes sucht ist man hier richtig. Auch der Innenbereich hat seinen Charme nicht nur die Terrasse . Das Essen außerhalb der Karte war auch sehr zu empfehlen. Simona unsere Bedienung war super. Total herzlich freundlich und eine totale Bereicherung für das Lokal. Wir waren das erste mal hier und kommen sehr gerne wieder. Essen, Ambiente und Service sehr gut. Wir sind immer wieder dort. In der Regel muss man einen Platz reservieren. Als Gast darf man im Hafen parken.

Ultra lange warte zeit gerichte nicht mal Kinderteller größe zu Teuer

Wir waren heute mit vier Personen im Lokal. Die Wartezeit zwischen Vorspeise und Hauptmgang betrug 60 Min. Wir hatten einen Rechnungsbetrag von 240.- Und waren alle noch hungrig , weil die Portionen selbst für Kinder zu klein sind, der Preis dafür aber sehr sehr hoch, kein Prei- Leistungsverhältnis.

Ein sehr schönes Lokal, alles stimmt, Essen sehr gut, Bedienung ohne Tadel und gesamt Eindruck war überragend.

Die Côte d Azur am Bodensee, das ist die Emotion die man bei einem Besuch im Schuppen 13 gratis mitbekommt. Das Essen ist fantastisch , ich war sehr begeistert. Der Service war professionell und zugewandt. Wer einen unvergesslichen Abend erleben will, der sollte Schuppen 13 unbedingt besuchen.Der Riesling alte Rebe aus Baden ist sehr zu empfehlen. Und natürlich die Seezunge. Ich komme aus Hamburg, aber diese Seezunge konnte sich sehen lassen. Werde bald wiederkommen!

Sehr gutes italienisches Restaurant. Hier begrüßt der Inhaber die Gäste noch persönlich.

Dieses Mal war es ok. Habe es aber auch schon schlechter erlebt. Die Preise sind hoch wegen des schweizerischen Bootspublikums. Ist also nicht unbedingt was für jeden.
