Great location. The room is worn and in need of renovation. The cleanliness leaves something to be desired. It could be improved with a little effort, but it does require a bit of a bigger picture. The room we had was spacious and roomy. Unfortunately, the light outside the window stays on very, very late into the morning hours. What you should know: You have to get the key code, room cards, and PIN for the key safe from the partner hotel. Breakfast is also served at the partner hotel. The breakfast is okay, could be better, but it has a little bit of everything.

SHORT: Check-in total mess, room of poor quality and not the service that belong to the price. CHECK IN: The reception desk at this hotel is (almost) never staffed. The room card is in a safe. You should have received an email with the safe number and code. I didn't receive the email. The hotel collaborates with another hotel. So, I went to the other reception desk. I received the safe number and code. The card from the safe didn't work and turned out to belong to another guest. Back to the reception desk. We were given a key card for another room. Upon entering, it turned out to be occupied by other guests. Then it took a while before everything was sorted out. The inconvenience was “compensated” with a drink. INITIAL ACQUAINTANCE WITH THE ROOM: Finally, a room. Time to freshen up. When showering, the bathroom and bedroom quickly filled with water. The drain wasn't draining the water fast enough. Back to the reception desk. The manager accompanied me to the room with tools to fix it. On the way to the room, I was told not to complain. There hadn't been a train crash, and I was still alive. Well, that's how you can dismiss every complaint about quality and service. FURTHER ABOUT THE ROOM: Sensor hanging off the wall, no air conditioning, windows can't be opened because it would attract an insect invasion, cracked floor tiles, missing grout, dust rags, dirty curtains. BREAKFAST: The food quality is good. But it's a complete mess. Things are gone, fifteen minutes of waiting for coffee is normal, and it's hard for four people to find a shared table. END OF FIRST DAY: After a day's absence, it turns out the room isn't cleaned as standard. So, no new towels either. I've never experienced having to leave a service card on the door. Towel and cleaning service are usually standard in a hotel of this price range. So again, back to the reception. CONCLUSION: Once, but never again. Just hang in there for a few more nights and then move on to the next hotel where they hopefully know how to treat guests well.

This hotel is an absolute no-go. No staff on site, which is reflected in the cleanliness of the rooms. Check-in is done digitally via a secure login. The terrace is a garbage dump (cigarette butts as far as the eye can see, general waste, and leaves). The notice stating that there is daily cleaning is omitted for the sake of the environment. However, the lights are on 24/7 throughout the hotel and the air conditioning, which does not cool, also runs 24/7. The minibar is just for decoration - cooling is out of the question. Parking spaces are a 15-minute walk from the hotel, so the journey with luggage is already a sweaty affair. Value for money = zero. When checking out at the neighboring hotel, you are not asked how your stay was. We understand why, as the staff already know the answer.

Very good location in the center of town. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a room with a balcony and a partial lake view, so we could watch the amazing fireworks at the lakeside festival from above. Great breakfast. The hotel parking lot was only for unloading and loading the car. However, there was a free parking lot a 10-minute walk away at the edge of town. We had also booked two massages, but we were only able to enjoy one due to illness. Unfortunately, we only received a 50% refund for the canceled massage.

This hotel is no longer self-service. It's part of the Seevital Hotel. The rooms are okay, but three-star at most. There isn't even air conditioning or anything like that. Overall, I'd say this is more like a guesthouse than a four-star hotel. This misleading information could lead to legal problems. The Seevital, on the other hand, is very inviting and truly top-notch.

Thank you so much for the wonderful days at the Hotel Litz. The rooms were very nice, we had a great view of Lake Constance, and the breakfast buffet and evening meal, as well as the incredibly good food and friendly service on the wonderful terrace right by the sea, were fantastic. We highly recommend it.

Unfortunately, it was rather disappointing. The room didn't look anything like the designer rooms on the website. It looked more like a standard, inexpensive room, complete with a flimsy plastic shower tray like you'd find in a camper van. Sure, the location is great, but I can't understand why I'd pay €200 for it (including parking and no breakfast).

I was there on July 27, 2025. The junior suite doesn't have a balcony, but it does have a bathtub in the middle of the room. The toilet is separated from the room only by a glass door. The reception was unmanned, so breakfast had to be taken at the Hotel Seevital, about 100 meters away. There was no coffee machine in the room, nor in the hotel. The hotel's parking lot is about 2 km away and costs €20. There is a shuttle service there, but you could sometimes wait over 30 minutes for it. When I asked about this, I was given a proper scolding by the deputy hotel manager. His entire demeanor was rude and unprofessional.

I have to agree with the numerous, rather negative reviews... unfortunately. It hasn't always been like this at this hotel. The quality and service have declined drastically. When booking through the hotel's own website, you are NOT informed about the following: Breakfast is served in another building No parking available... the nearest is about 1 km away... No staff at the reception It seems so deserted and run-down. Just the empty, calcified fountain with the dusty mirror at the reception. The hotel doesn't even have a kettle in the room, let alone water in the fridge (which is empty, by the way). The management should definitely come up with something! They disappoint new guests every day!

I travel to hotels a lot for work, so I can really appreciate what makes a hotel special – and this hotel impressed me in many ways! Breakfast is currently being served at the partner hotel 100 meters away – due to illness, which is completely understandable. Some guests seem to view this negatively, but I absolutely can't understand why: The walk is short, the breakfast there is excellent and prepared with love. The friendly staff ensures a very pleasant start to the day. Check-in is also flexible: either completely digital (which worked perfectly for me) or in person at the neighboring hotel – a very customer-friendly solution! There was also some criticism regarding the furnishings – here, too, I can only say: I find the furnishings absolutely tasteful, clean, and harmonious. I would particularly like to highlight the small but very lovingly designed sauna, which is a real highlight for a hotel of this size. The cleaning was consistently impeccable and of a very high standard. You can tell that the people working here do their jobs with care. One small suggestion for improvement would be to provide a bottle of water in the room or – just as a small gift – perhaps a small piece of candy on the pillow. That would be the icing on the cake, but of course not a must. All in all: A fantastic hotel that deserves more than just four stars for me. I would love to come back!

Given its location, the hotel doesn't have much to offer. No air conditioning and blazing hot in the summer. No room service, no reception. There's a minibar, but it's empty. Some rooms are broken or poorly maintained. For breakfast, you have to go to the neighboring hotel. Unfortunately, the price of over €200 is too low.

It's really great there. Sure, it's a bit worn, but that's not a problem. The cleanliness could be better; it's generally clean, but quite dusty in some corners. The room we had had an additional floor with a play area and a very large sofa, which pleasantly surprised us. The bathroom is also very spacious. What you should know: Breakfast is served at the partner hotel. The hotel itself has been completely digitized – so the notice stating that only one person is currently ill seems to be incorrect. You also have to get the room cards or the PIN for the key safe from the partner hotel. The breakfast is okay, could be better, but it has a bit of everything. The juice is cheap, and the fruit yogurt comes from large buckets. But there's a wide selection of breads, various milks, and some fresh fruit.

A stunning view of Lake Constance. Modern, practical room furnishings. Always clean and well-maintained. Large TV, refrigerator, rain shower, power outlets, and a light by the bed...everything you need. Arrival digitally. Room card in the locker in the entrance area. Code arrives approximately 30 minutes before 3:00 PM. Elevator to the 3rd floor. Room with a lake view. Due to a lack of staff at the Seehotel Litz, reception and breakfast (if booked) are at the Hotel Seevital. The Seevital Hotel is a 2-minute walk along the promenade. Great. Umbrellas are available in case of rain. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Breakfast...everything is of an upscale standard. From salmon to fruit and freshly squeezed orange salt, delicious and fresh. Good bikes and e-scooters for boat tours can be rented at reception at reasonable prices. Parking is available in front of the entrance for loading and unloading. We were lucky and were allowed to park in the hotel parking lot for free the night before our departure. Just ask nicely. The parking situation is due to the city of Langenargen's policy. Great... hardly any traffic, no traffic jams or exhaust fumes, and wonderful peace and quiet in the evenings. Open the windows at night and enjoy the Lake Constance air. We have a free public parking lot (Friedrichshafener Str.) a 10-15 minute walk (1 round trip in 5 days). Great short break in a relaxed atmosphere. Restaurants, shops, ice cream, a bar, boat rentals, all right on your doorstep. P.S. I don't understand the bad reviews. Unfortunately we were disappointed. After previous positive stays there was now a lot to complain about. What bothered us a lot was that the hotel door was open day and night but the reception was never manned, so anyone could just walk in. No reception for inquiries, not even a drinks machine, simply zero service and to top it off there were defects in the rooms. Breakfast was good but in the neighboring hotel. In summary: completely overpriced for the service (what service exactly? Room furnishings were only available on request). And the worst thing of all was that we received ZERO response to our repeated complaints. We were completely ignored. Thank you, not recommended.

Unfortunately, it was a disappointment: such a beautiful location right on the lake, and then such neglected rooms with broken floors, mold, and water damage. For what a night costs for two people, I would have at least expected it to be clean, but not even that. We had to first remove cobwebs from the entire room, and I'm not talking just one or two, no, there were a hell of a lot. Nobody seems to think it's necessary to dust either. The minibar (just a small, empty refrigerator) can't even keep a bottle of water cold in 24 hours. Cold water from the tap is impossible; it always comes out lukewarm or scalding hot. Absolutely not recommended.

We had an awful experience at this hotel - try and avoid our mistake! As others have noted it’s not staffed - which would be ok except we had a problem with a defective toilet (overflowing / running / odorous and not cleaned bathroom). Despite trying to contact the hotel numerous ways we had no response until the following day after we had checked out. The manager advised us laughingly that ‘we had paid too much’ and said there was nothing he could do about the issue, despite us having to use a public toilet across the road with two small children. Additionally the rooms are dated, dirty, very small and uncomfortable (we had one chair for four people in a two bedroom apartment) for the price.

We were looking forward to the hotel. Unfortunately, everything turned out differently than expected. The hotel room wasn't ready at 3 p.m., there was no air conditioning in the room, no reception (only at the hotel 100 meters away), a very small room without any extras. No bottle of water, no small toiletries (as you'd expect from a 4-star hotel), simply nothing. And all this for €250 a night with a dog. The parking space is a 30-minute walk away, if you can even find it. OK, there's a shuttle service, but €20 a day for parking is still not justified. And finally, there's the debate about receiving a paper bill. I advise everyone to stay away from this hotel. It's a shame.

We stayed at this hotel before and were thrilled. It was a beautiful hotel with great service and cuisine. Unfortunately, we were more than disappointed this time. We had the impression that the hotel was simply neglected and run without care or attention. No one at the reception, no breakfast, no food or bar at all, and it was in a very unkempt state. On the terrace, where all the furniture was scattered all over the place, and in some places you could even find a lost cup or salt shaker on the table, it was in a catastrophic state and everything was unkempt. The Litz is now part of the Seevital resort. Unfortunately, we were not informed that the standards had been reduced to zero. No air conditioning in the room, no longer any care products, and "cleaning" only upon request – you have to put up a sign – but you are given no information about this upon check-in. The beautiful spa area upstairs is hardly ever cleaned anymore, and you will look in vain for drinks there. Prices are comparable to those of a 4-star hotel, which is no longer one. It hurt our souls to find this beautiful hotel left to die. We definitely won't be coming back.

We spent three nights at the Hotel Litz in Langenargen – and unfortunately, the overall stay was disappointing. For a supposedly 4-star hotel, the hotel offers neither the expected service nor the promised amenities. Room type: Junior Suite with Lake View !!!!!!! Value for money: Abysmal The prices are completely exorbitant for what is offered. You pay for four stars, but you get at most 1.5 stars – and that's a generous rating. Breakfast: Unacceptable The breakfast was simply not appropriate for a 4-star hotel. The selection, quality, and presentation left much to be desired. Freshness, variety, and a certain level of quality that one would expect from this star rating were not present. Hygiene: We can still give it a grade of 2 (satisfactory). It was generally clean, but not spotless – we noticed minor defects again and again. Amenities: The room description explicitly mentioned a coffee machine, but we didn't find one during our entire stay (four days). Such an omission is unacceptable, especially when it's advertised in the room description. Staff: The staff was friendly, but unfortunately completely overwhelmed. The hotel is clearly understaffed or poorly organized – this creates neither a pleasant stay nor a feeling of genuine hospitality. Lake Constance Pass: The so-called Lake Constance Pass is supposedly included in the price (€30), but it's completely pointless and hardly usable. We didn't experience any relevant benefits from it – it's advertised as a "bonus" that, in reality, offers little added value. Conclusion: A completely overpriced 1.5-star hotel that in no way lives up to the standards of a 4-star hotel. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend the hotel and would definitely choose another accommodation on future trips to Langenargen.

We were visiting here for two nights with our kids. The family room is big and very clean. Two floors, nice living area with flat TV and Nintendo with 90s video games - nice surprise. Big roof window - very nice. These are the good things. However, we will not return here. There is no reception at the hotel, and no dining room. So you need to walk to their other hotel to get service (Seevital). The hotel is outdated, and the rooms are very simple - not in accordance with the money paid. The shades were old and stuck- so we couldn't close them - wake up every 6.30AM - not what I expected from a vacation. When we asked to fix it they just put an old blanket to cover the windows. Beds are small, and the mattress is horrible. Pillows are not really pillows, but some weird rounded something. The elevator is super small, really tiny, for two people max. The shower was nice, and the hotel was very clean. The Nintendo was a nice surprise for the kids. Other than that, I can't see any worth for my money. And why there is no reception or any staff at the hotel?

Decent hotel in a great location I arrived with my dog. I paid more for it than I've ever paid in any other hotel before: €25 extra. A water bowl was available, which is a positive. The room was small, with a poor view and a refrigerator that wasn't plugged in and was therefore warm. The hotel had hardly any rooms occupied, so I was surprised why my room was so spartan. Probably because I was bringing my dog. I wanted to add breakfast. The price was exorbitant at €29.00. However, I would have only been allowed to sit on the terrace with my dog. So I politely declined. I would have accepted that my dog wasn't allowed in the breakfast room and would have happily parked him in the car for that time. This wouldn't have been possible, as the rented parking space was in an industrial park, a 20-minute walk away. A shuttle service is offered at set times. It was at 9:30 a.m. By then, I was already gone. When I then heard from a Seevitalhotel employee that all guests who had booked breakfast had received an upgrade, I was very annoyed by this statement and felt like a second-class guest. Guests with dogs who don't book breakfast at the beginning of their booking are treated worse. The perfect location is, of course, commendable. The hotel is not air-conditioned. Even now, with an outside temperature of 23°C, the empty lobby and hallways feel like an oven.

Unfortunately very disappointing - misleading information and not a 4-star standard I booked a weekend at the Seehotel Litz with a colleague - partly because of the promising photos and reviews for breakfast, which, according to Booking.com, is offered in the hotel itself for €14 to €15 per day. The big disappointment on site: Breakfast **doesn't** take place in the hotel, but in a neighboring hotel about 100 meters away - and costs **€29 per person**. That's more than double the announced price. The lady at the reception confirmed to us that the price on Booking.com was correct, but that they could not offer breakfast themselves due to staff problems. Absolutely unacceptable for the guest! So please don't let the "wonderful breakfast" in the photos blind you** - that simply doesn't exist here in the house. Especially not for €15 per person. The communication in advance was also completely transparent. In addition, this hotel **no longer has a real four stars** - when we asked, the receptionist told us that the stars had been given up, which apparently means: currently no official 4-star status. Absolutely disappointing for the price. We would have liked more honesty and transparency. Unfortunately not recommended.

The hotel is very nicely located and quiet. The rooms are ok and not as described on the internet. We had a junior suite with a minibar, there was nothing in it and the fridge didn't work either. The breakfast is indescribably bad, no selection of spreads for vegetarians, for example, you have to wait forever for egg dishes and the buffet is carelessly executed. Definitely not worth 4 stars.

We booked this “hotel” because we had already spent our silver wedding anniversary there 4 years ago. Unfortunately, we were not informed about various changes in advance or these were not indicated on the hotel homepage or in various booking tools. Rather, there are various information there that no longer have anything to do with the “hotel” as of today. We found a former hotel with no staffed reception, no parking facilities and no restaurant of its own. We found out all this when we arrived at the hotel 200m away. The reception is no longer staffed, check-in and check-out takes place at the partner hotel. The restaurant hasn't existed for years. The in-house bistro closes at 8:30 p.m. and is run by a different operator. Parking is not possible in the city center as the only parking garage (which both hotels specify as their own) is currently being renovated by the city. They wanted to park our car about 1.5km outside in an industrial area (€30/day). Shuttle service is available, but is not always available. On the first morning we had a conversation with the assistant manager, he told us that there were some changes. The hotel has no longer been classified and therefore no longer has 4 stars. The 4 points given are the rating of the hotel. Breakfast only takes place on the back burner. If you run out of rolls or croissants, you have to have a discussion with the service staff because it takes a long time to defrost them... The supposedly Smart TV is an ancient LCD TV. We were told that there were not Smart TVs in all rooms and that you didn't have to specify this. The condition of the room was dismissed with the statement that there was so much to renovate. A sharp-edged door handle that was almost completely torn off didn't prompt anyone to replace it. The crowning achievement is a room that is not tidy, here you quickly stick a sign on the entrance door, you should hang a green sign on the door when you need to tidy it up or change the towels. It would be nice here if such things were known when moving into the room and not only hung up at lunchtime on the first day when the guests are out of the house. The fruit basket set up at the same time doesn't help either. It would also be nice if the reception at the Hotel Litz wasn't staffed, so that someone could be found at the partner hotel if a problem arose. Nobody could be found here at 8:30 p.m. The very hard-working and very nice colleagues couldn't find the person responsible anywhere in the company. Nobody can be reached by phone either. The partner hotel has 4 stars with the prospect of 4 stars+. In general, the Hotel Litz is just a hotel garni and without the help of the management assistant and the helpful staff (who were also on site) it would just be a flophouse that was once a great hotel in a great location. We hope that the information that can be read online will or has already been changed and given honestly.

590 € for this condition? Never again! We paid an incredible €520 for two nights in this so-called wellness hotel - plus another €30 for a Lake Constance pass, which you can hardly use, and €40 for the parking lot (€20 per night, of course only communicated on site). All in all, that's an outrageous €590 - and for that you get... nothing that justifies the price. The mini fridge was broken, so no way to cool drinks or snacks. The walls in the room were covered in insect blood - absolutely disgusting and a sign of catastrophic cleanliness. The bathroom wasn't any better: dirty, unkempt - and the toilet seat was loose, made loud noises with every movement and looked as if it was about to fall off completely. Slippers or savings shoes? None. This should be absolutely self-evident in a hotel with wellness standards. The Lake Constance Pass was sold to us for €30 with the promise that you would get discounts everywhere. In truth, it could hardly be redeemed anywhere - pure tourist rip-off. Conclusion: Overpriced, unhygienic, poorly organized - we feel ripped off. For almost €600 I would have expected a lot more. I really can't recommend this hotel to anyone.

Fantastic 👍 After the many negative posts, I was very happy that nothing like that happened. We felt comfortable right from the warm, friendly welcome. The sauna area was heated up so that we could relax the entire afternoon after our brunch next door in the brasserie. Room 202 was beautiful and clean. The breakfast the next morning was rich, the coffee was delicious, the view of Lake Constance was enchanting and the ambience with lots of candles and lovingly selected furnishings was a perfect place to take a break from the stressful everyday life. Thank you very much for your efforts, there are still employees who enjoy their jobs and it shows here.

Disappointing – Worth a maximum of 2 stars I chose this hotel based on the 4 star rating, but unfortunately I was very disappointed. As soon as we arrived, we noticed that there were no staff at the reception. It took a long time before we could reach anyone who could help us - not the best start to the stay. The rooms were tiny, much smaller than expected, and definitely not what you would expect from a 4 star property. Hardly any space to move around properly or store your luggage. In addition, everything seemed a bit cramped and uncomfortable. The hotel could advertise a higher standard but honestly it doesn't deserve more than 2 stars. It's a shame, because the location and external appearance have potential.

Not a 4 star hotel for me! But clearly only 3 stars! I wouldn't book like that again. The only thing that makes up for our stay on vacation is the view from the balcony of Lake Constance. Reception hardly staffed. If you want to know something you have to dial a number. Although reception times are from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Mon-Fri. The room, especially the bathroom, is in need of complete renovation. But you get something completely different on the website and you get a room with a worn out bathroom as a guest - that's not possible. As a booking guest, this is a real deception in the truest sense! The breakfast buffet is offered by a tenant because the hotel does not run it itself! Attention for dog owners, dogs are not allowed into the restaurant here. We now sit outside in the morning. Luckily the sun is shining on vacation this week. The fact that pets are allowed in the hotel is a huge disadvantage for dog owners. I won't say anything about the restaurant that is run by a tenant! Or yes ;-) Cleanliness of the plates, cutlery and glasses etc. shockingly dirty. If you book a four star hotel you expect something different if you have to eat the breakfast buffet there. Some of them are not yet stocked during the stated opening times. The tenant is to blame here and not the staff, who are totally overloaded! It tries very hard but can't keep up. I don't understand why the guests are not accommodated in the restaurant of the partner hotel Seevital! That seems to be a better option, instead it would be better to scare away holiday guests. The only thing that has to be mentioned positively is that if we had any complaints, they were repaired the next day or the same day. Fan defective was replaced. Hardly any toilet paper was added to the room when we arrived the next day. Awning didn't work and was repaired. Guest cards are only printed out upon request! With the guest card you can travel free of charge by bus and train in the local area. But book again, no thanks! Total disappointment here :-( Luckily we have good weather here. Criticism is clearly directed at the management of the hotel!

If you want to go on holiday in Langenargen, then you have come to the right place. The hotel scores particularly well with its location: you can reach the harbor, the city center and the restaurants in less than five minutes. You also have a lake view. The breakfast is relatively good. The sauna area is very good. The sports area is tiny and kind of a joke. The rooms are good, but the rain shower didn't work. Luckily the shower head worked. Definitely a recommendation!

First of all, the location of the hotel is great, but the rooms are from the 90s, there is no air conditioning, this is unbearable at 30 degrees, so no fan helps. 610€ for 2 nights is a total disgrace, 20€ energy flat rate for what?! The breakfast is terribly bad. All in all, never again. Typical hotel that thrives on the location, but doesn't reinvest anything into the house.

Great hotel. Very clean. There are only a few small things to complain about in the rooms, but they can easily be overlooked. Friendly staff. The breakfast buffet is a bit poor and is rarely refreshed. The spa area is quite impressive. Beautifully integrated on the top floor, you can fully relax while taking a sauna. The view is perfect! The hotel is located right on the lake, which makes the room price in the area seem really fair.

We were guests at the Hotel Litz in Langenargen from Friday to Sunday. Friendly welcome. There are 3 parking spaces at the hotel for loading/unloading. A parking space in the underground car park (at Montfort Castle - approx. 5 minutes' walk) can then be booked through the hotel. Room 303 on the third floor is not very large, but completely sufficient, clean, fragrant and with a nice glass wet area. Highlight: great view of Lake Constance! Breakfast buffet good, everything you need for a good start to the day, coffee great. No review of the hotel's other gastronomy as we only had breakfast. We also cannot provide any information about the price/performance ratio as we were invited. All in all, a nice, relaxing weekend, to which the Hotel Litz also made a big contribution. Many thanks to the team and we'll be happy to come back..

I was able to spend two nights in this hotel. The rooms and the rest of the hotel are really very nice. Located directly on the lake with a beautiful view from the restaurant. It's a shame that you're not allowed to smoke practically anywhere. I had a double room without a lake view which was modern and spacious. Arriving by car is easy, there is either a paid underground car park or a free parking space outside in a 10-minute walk. The service was okay but definitely still has a lot of room for improvement for a 4-star hotel. The reception was friendly but not attentive enough. The welcome drink was positive. I would particularly like to highlight the young gentleman with the tattoo on his neck. He was extremely customer-oriented and the only employee who offered 5 star service and really cared about me as a guest.

We decided on the hotel at short notice and received a call from very friendly staff on the phone and the room was reserved. The hotel and location are very beautiful, especially the view from the SPA area, which was included in the price, is magnificent. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Rooms and facilities were very modern and clean. The breakfast buffet was also very plentiful. Overall a very nice hotel and we will definitely check in again.

The town and location of the hotel are very nice and so was the lady checking us in. That is where the positive experience stopped. The room was not clean (spiders and spiderwebs everywhere, a lot of flies in the room, the bathroom smelled, there were hairs all over the wall). Next to the room not being clean it was also very run down, all kinds of marks on the floors and walls, the floor was loose on some parts as well as the mopboard, the carpet on the stairs was also not fully attached (falling hazard). The room was really really warm but the windows could not be opened because in between the window and the screen outside the window there were more spiders and spiderwebs. When I wanted to take some water out of the bottle provided by the hotel I saw the seal was already broken so it was used before and not replaced so I didn’t want to touch that either. When I finally fell asleep I woke up two hours in as I knocked a centipede on my pillow that was crawling around on my face! So after that I didn’t get much sleep anymore. When I went to the reception the next morning the woman behind the reception (not the same one of the night before) said everything I experienced was not true (even tough I brought the remains of the centipede). The whole story seemed very inconvenient for her. Not once did she mention that she was sorry or anything of the sort or offered any solution to make our stay more comfortable. I must say the customer service is fully in line with the state of the room. Both not suited for guests. Other points worth mentioning: the lock on the door didn’t work, there were no robes or slippers or anything like that available, there were no parking spots and breakfast was served by the restaurant next door (which was nice and with good service). So all in all I’m utterly baffled that this hotel has a 4 star rating and dare to charge these obscene amounts for a night in this dump. Safe to say we left first thing in the morning and didn’t wait until check out time. We will never come here again and I can only warn other people not to stay here!

Booking in person and asking is unfortunately unnecessary as things and costs are kept secret. Our overall impression is twofold: The location is fantastic, although dependent on the weather, as it's right on the promenade and between 2! streets. ...although the windows block out the most noise. 🏊♂️ Swimming in the lake is unfortunately forbidden there...you have to walk a bit, although the beach and path for dogs 🐕 are completely forbidden in summer. Parking spaces are only available for 4 hours. Our room suite was clean, nice view. However, the lights between the rooms were on a long timer, making it difficult to sleep despite a good bed. The sauna has a great view. The breakfast was inedible. ⚠️ for dog owners 🐕: All restaurants are forbidden inside and there is no lounge. The terrace offered was very cold and not covered. If you don't want to just lock your dog in the room, you'll have problems here or have to go camping in bed. Since I want to use the wellness facility, I can't lock my dog up to eat in the morning and evening. Sitting on cold plastic chairs outside in the cold in the morning and eating expensive food in the evening...this is not my taste

Despite having free tables, we were pointedly ignored while waiting in front of the terrace. After a long wait (while a line formed behind us), we left without having served anything – the guests behind us were served immediately. It was probably because of our appearance or our clothing.

Super delicious food. We ordered a salad, various pizzas, and pizza bread. Everything was absolutely delicious. The salad was Michelin-star quality, the pizzas were crispy with very thin crusts and not too thickly topped. Just like in Italy. Sensational value for money; we thought they'd miscalculated. You sit in a rustic setting right next to the sports field, but it's very quiet. You can watch the teams training, and the kids can run around to their heart's content. There's also a playground right next door. WE'LL BE BACK!
