Das Essen hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Restaurant ist im Innenbereich, wie im Außenbereich sehr schön und gemütlich. Besonders hat mir der Blick auf den Bodensee gefallen und das sympathische Personal.

Wir haben im Kavalierhaus sehr gut gegessen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und wir haben uns in dem gemütlich ei gerichteten Gastraum sehr wohl gefühlt.

Ganz herzlicher Service, Essen super lecker und geht wirklich schnell. Und vor allem eine fantastische Aussicht!

Wir waren da gestern Essen! Unsere beiden Essen, Fischknusperli und Rösti mit Lachs, waren aus der Tiefkühltruhe! Auch die Saucen waren gekauft! Lediglich der Salat war selber gemacht , Dressing weis ich nicht! Dafür brauche ich in kein Restaurant zu gehen! Der Hunger hat es hald reingedrückt! Mc Donalds Style! Bekomme ich zu Hause besser und viel billiger hin! Kann ich nicht empfehlen! Preis Leistung passt gar nicht! Top Lage ist hald nicht alles was man für ein gutes Restaurant braucht! Ich komme aus der gehobenen Gastronomie mit 35 Jahren Berufserfahrung , und kann mir da ein Urteil erlauben! Und was gar nicht geht, ist eine Kellnerin, die zwar sehr nett und sehr , sehr aufmerksam war, in Flip Flops serviert! Ein No Go!!! Angemessene Bekleidung sollte Standart sein!

Leckeres Essen, und ein super Blick über den See

Ein Haus mit herausragender Ambiente und Lage am Bodensee und Schloss Montfort. Egal ob man sich im Innen- oder Außenbereich aufhält. Das Essen ist Bodenständig und frisch zubereitet. Die Preise eher gehoben. Aber bei solch einer Lage normal.

Wir waren heute das erste Mal und ich sage es ein Muss wenn man hier ist so etwas gemütliches habe ich selten erlebt. Herzlich authentisch einfach nur super. Hier kommen wir gerne wieder her vielen Dank.

Waren mit unserem Hund dort essen, sogar er hat ein eigenes Körbchen mit Napf bekommen! Super Lecker und super Service.

Hinter der unauffälligen Villa betritt man ein Restaurant mit bürgerlichem Ambiente welches direkt eine warmherzige Atmosphäre hervorbringt. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und frisch. Das Bier im Steinkrug passt und rundet alles ab. Die Schnäpse sind von höchster Qualität und die Bedienung ist unglaublich freundlich und professionell. Durchaus zu empfehlen und das auch in der Nebensaison. Danke Euch!

Wir waren am 2. Weihnachtsfeiertag hier essen. Ich hatte ursprünglich für 5 Personen reserviert, wir kamen dann zu sechst - das war mein Fehler, dessen bin ich mir bewusst. Die Reaktion der Bedienung beim Ankommen empfand ich jedoch als unnötig schroff ("Warum habt ihr nicht Bescheid gegeben?", "Ich kann nicht hexen"). Faktisch wäre der Tisch selbst für 5 Personen bereits sehr eng gewesen, sodass die Stimmung leider direkt kippte. Das Essen war insgesamt gut, hätte aber wärmer sein dürfen. Das Steak war zudem recht salzig, die Lachsrösti badeten in der Salatsoße, sodass sie recht durchgeweicht waren. Ein Wasserglas hatte einen roten Punkt/Dreck, was von der Bedienung eher heruntergespielt wurde. Auch die Platzierung vor der Garderobe war unglücklich- beim Gehen einer größeren Gruppe mussten Gäste hinter uns ihre Jacken herausholen, was sehr störend war. Insgesamt ist es schade, da es ein teures Essen war und man sich an einem Feiertag eigentlich einen angenehmen Abend wünscht. Ich habe Verständnis für den Fehler bei der Reservierung, hätte mir aber trotzdem einen freundlicheren Umgang und etwas mehr Serviceorientierung gewünscht.

Nettes Restaurant in bester Lage in Langenargen. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist prima, hier kann man immer wieder hingehen.

The servers were exceptionally attentive and really quick with everything. Plus, a perfect burger and a fantastic view! Definitely worth a visit, especially if you sit outside.👍🏻

A great selection of vegan dishes, even several vegan desserts. My boyfriend also said it was the best zander fillet he'd ever eaten. You'll be happy here, regardless of your diet. We would come back!

We were lucky enough to enjoy a spot on the terrace on one of the last summer days, including the sunset! Reservations are required. The evening was absolutely perfect. Great food, friendly and attentive service, and excellent value for money. We'd be happy to come back.

We first enjoyed the "Sunset Lounge" and then "moved" to the KavalierHaus restaurant 😉. Enjoying the "Sunset Lounge" with a long drink, cocktail, or a glass of wine is simply fantastic! The restaurant, the location, the ambiance, the service, and of course the culinary offerings are fantastic! We strongly recommend making a reservation! Parking is available nearby (fees apply), but free spaces are rare! So: a definite recommendation!

A very popular restaurant in a prime location. The menu is varied and the service is excellent. Reservations are essential. In bad weather, the relatively small dining room is a tight but cozy space. Highly recommended!

We celebrated my father's 90th birthday here and were absolutely thrilled. A fantastic location with a direct view of Lake Constance, excellent food, and fair value. If you love steak, burgers, or fish, this is the place for you. The portions are generous and the side dishes are simply delicious. The service was perfect and warm, and dessert was brought to the "birthday boy" with sparklers and music. Thank you for this unique evening.

UPDATE JULY 2025 Unchanged, very attentive service and delicious food! JULY 2024 A highlight in what we feel is a very traditional place. From the terrace, you have a wonderful view of Lake Constance and a varied menu – we really enjoyed the love salad, the rolls, and the pasta rabiata (ordered extra spicy).

The food was delicious and arrived really quickly. The waitress was also very friendly. Unfortunately, she was the only one in the entire restaurant, making it difficult to reach. The table we were assigned was right next to the door and very cramped. It was extremely hot in the restaurant. A table reservation is absolutely essential.

Unfortunately, the service wasn't great. The food was okay until we found a beetle in the salad. Surprisingly, we declined the offered replacement salad because we'd lost our appetite. Charging the full price anyway is a disgrace.

I've only been to the gardens. A wonderful complex right on Lake Constance. What's not so great is that drinks are only sold with a debit card...a lottery game...it doesn't work. A shame.

It was once again very delicious; this was the third time I've had the fish crisps with salad. The only thing was that the avocado in my wife's salad wasn't quite ripe, but that's not really a complaint for us.

Everything was excellent. The food, drinks, and service were excellent. Also, a smartphone was lost, which was found and handed in by an honest person. An employee at the restaurant reported the phone as found after our phone call. 😊 Many thanks to the honest finders and to the employee.

I couldn't be reached by phone for days, so I made a reservation via the website. I then received a reservation confirmation via SMS, where I had to click on a link (?!). Under the link I was informed that I would receive a confirmation by email in addition to the SMS. I didn't receive this. So now I have half a reservation?? When I went there in the afternoon to inquire about my reservation, the main door was locked (despite being open). I was then informed that society was closed all day. Not a nice surprise on Mother's Day. We are very disappointed and would have liked to have eaten there

We (my wife, our two daughters and I) were in Langenargen from Friday to Sunday and had reserved a table in the Kavalierhaus for Friday evening. It was a wonderful evening on the terrace with a beautiful sunset, perfect service, fantastic food in a great ambience. It was so excellent that we made another reservation for Saturday - everything was great, thank you very much 🤩👍.

Super pretty, small restaurant with a great terrace facing Lake Constance. Service was on point and food was very tasty. When the weather is nice, it's automatically only on the terrace and when the weather is bad, inside.

Super nice service, perfect location with a great view of Lake Constance. Very large portions so price/performance is right. There are also 2 dogs here, they are super nice, not intrusive at all & an absolute plus for the ambience if you love animals :) we would love to come back

Sehr gute Auswahl an Gerichten, ich hatte buttergebratene Fischfilet mit Salat, während mein Partner den Wienerschnitzel bestellte. Beide Gerichte waren wunderschön präsentiert und grosszügig. In high season I would actually reserve a table. I had the vegetable spaghetti and it was super tasty. We also had the Beyondburger, which is also highly recommended. The prices are completely okay... After all, it's right on the lake 😊

My husband and I ate here on our wedding anniversary and it was amazing! We got a great table on the terrace with an incredibly cozy atmosphere (eating with a view of the lake was fantastic). Das Essen war sehr gut und die Bedienung unschlagbar. Das ganze wurde dann leider nach 1 Std. 57 Minuten ins negative getoppt -wir wollten noch etwas bestellen-, da wurden wir gefragt, ob der Kollege uns nicht gesagt hätte, das die Reservierung nur für 2 Stunden gelten würde. Angeblich würde dies auf der Website stehen. Leider konnte ich dort nichts finden! Wäre die 2 Stunden-Regelung offensichtlich gewesen, wären wir woanders hingegangen.

Table reserved. Waited 30 minutes for the drinks. After the meal the dessert menu was put down and 2 minutes later we were asked to pay. We were literally thrown out because the next guests were already there. We were very perplexed.

The vegetarian burger was super tasty.

Love this restaurant and the atmosphere. It’s unique. The food and wine is really good. Would go again. My only recommendation is the restaurant needs fans in the humid weather, during or after a storm for instance. :)

We had a delicious dinner at Kavalierhaus, but the service was the highlight of our evening! The staff were wonderful and so attentive, and it was without a doubt the best dining experience we have had in Germany!

A small and quaint restaurant with a small but good menu and nice staff. The decoration is worth at least 3 stars. The food is freshly prepared and there is something for everyone (including vegan)

Spontaneous visit on the first day of vacation, got a table, wonderful! Super great service, we were greeted very nicely! Great furnishings, lovingly taken down to the last detail (...even in the toilet 😉). Food looks delicious and attractive on all tables. Our choice: Salad with baked bread and salad with pike perch... both a dream. Another sweet dessert, everything perfect. We'd love to come back, make a reservation in advance - that's really recommended!

The food is very fresh and delicious! Plus, it arrived on our table in a very short time. The staff is very nice and friendly. The location is very nice and the view of the lake is very beautiful. The music in front of the restaurant was really funny and worth a visit! We thought it was just great!

We have often been to the beautifully located Kavalierhaus in Langenargen. In summer you can sit outside on the raised terrace and have a view of both Lake Constance and the mountains on the other shore. The interior design is quaint, funny and personal. You have the feeling that you are sitting in the operator's living room. The menu is not exceptional, but everyone will find something. Adjustments due to intolerances are sometimes possible (but, as in many restaurants, it is still difficult). Overall, the location is absolutely recommended.

Not to be outdone in terms of arrogance. 11:45 a.m. 1 table has no reservations and you are sent away because you “just” want a drink (30-45 minutes). A bottle of wine or prosecco and cold drinks are probably not enough sales. If you can afford it, if there are no alternatives, keep it up.

As always, we had a lovely and pleasant evening with delicious food and the best atmosphere. There is always something for every budget and taste. We particularly enjoy the friendly and personal support from the managing director again and again.

Essen war lecker. Der Grund meiner Bewertung liegt an der time Slot. Also wenn du ein Tisch reservierst, hast du 2 Stunden Zeit zu essen & trinken. Also geht es um Umsatz und nicht mehr um das Ambiente & essen. Ich würde als zweites mal dort nicht mehr gehen.

The Kavalierhaus offers first-class service and an excellent culinary experience. The staff (The Boss) is extremely attentive and friendly, which contributes to a pleasant atmosphere. The dishes are of outstanding quality and present a successful combination of taste and presentation. Overall, an excellent choice for connoisseurs who appreciate a fine dining experience.

Ohne Anmeldung mit sehr viel Glück den best möglichen Tisch 15 erhalten. Einen traumhaften Sonnenuntergang gab es es gratis. Wie bestellt zu dem herrlichen Ambiente. Die Bedienung mit unendlicher Geduld und außergewöhnlicher Beratung war das nächste I Tüpfelchen. Klasse dann das Essen. Herrlich. Danke. Das Kavalierhaus ist ein Wunderschönes Restaurant vom Ambiente über die Bedienung bis zum Essen. Das Ambiente ist wunderschön im Rustikalen Style eingerichtet und ist wirklich ein Hingucker. Die Kellnerin sind super Freundlich und extrem zuvorkommend. Das Essen war Top!! Ich hatte einen Chef Burger mit Home Frise und war hin und weg. Meine Freundin hatte den den Schwaben Burger für den kleineren Hunger und der war mindestens genau so gut. Im Großen und Ganzen war es ein Top Abend. Preis-Leistungsfähigkeit war auch absolut in Ordnung. Gerne Wieder, wir freuen uns schon😋🤟

Wirklich schöne Terrasse. Man sitzt zwar recht eng, aber der Platz muss ja genutzt werden. Der Ausblick ist auf jeden Fall toll! Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Das Essen sehr lecker. Alles vom Burger inkl Bun und Soßen selbstgemacht. Es gibt auch veganes Essen.

Das KAVALIERHAUS und in die dazugehörige LOUNGE ist ein besonderer Ort um den schönsten Sonnenuntergang am Bodensee zu geniessen. Mit einem erfrischenden SUNDOWNER und entspannter LOUNGE MUSIC im Ohr gibts kein schöneres Plätzchen am See.
