Seit dem Silke den Gasthof übernommen hat, hat sich einiges geändert. Das Essen hat deutlich an Qualität gewonnen und auch das Ambiente ist nun sehr gemütlich geworden. Wir kommen gern hierher, wenn wir in der Heimat sind.

Pizza ist ganz ordentlich. Kontakt vor Ort ist zwar nett aber sehr Wortkarg.

The stop at Schneider's sports restaurant was the culmination of a marathon hike with over 40 participants. We had already booked the retreat six months earlier (planning 30 participants) and then coordinated it on site. The two of us had dinner in the restaurant after the heats and were thrilled. At short notice I announced that we would be stopping by with a dozen more hikers, which wasn't a problem. When we arrived, the tables were invitingly decorated and grouped. The menu offered something for everyone (including vegan) and the food was generally highly praised. Despite the large group, the service was extremely quick, professional and very friendly. The (individual) billing was also completed quickly, so that we had enough time to start our return journey by train. Many thanks to Ms. Westermann and the entire restaurant team. This evening in a cozy atmosphere will be remembered fondly by everyone for a long time.

The food is simply amazing, always delicious. It's a shame that eating out isn't happening during the coronavirus pandemic, but you can still pick up your food from time to time. We treated ourselves to a Sunday lunch. It was divine and plentiful. Highly recommended!

Nice restaurant, I ordered the large Wiener Schnitzel. What I received were three deep-fried slices of beef which, due to their incredibly thinness (max. 3mm), were completely tough. It came with a thimbleful of cranberries and two tablespoons of potato salad. 26.90 euros. It couldn't be worse.

Outstanding!!!! Unfortunately, you can only give five stars, because this restaurant and especially the staff deserve more! The food was superb and the service was truly incredible…friendly, attentive, and incredibly kind. We were there for the first time based on a recommendation, had relatively high expectations, and these were exceeded! A restaurateur who obviously still enjoys his work! We will be back…
