Completely satisfied, super nice service, great food. We can highly recommend it.

I have been a regular customer of Aslan Restaurant for years and have always enjoyed their delicious food and generous portions. However, my last visit completely disappointed me. Since the change of ownership things have only gone downhill. Yesterday I ordered the mixed fish and kebab grill platters and what I got was a far cry from what I used to get. The portions were shockingly small - exactly a third of what they used to be. It felt like I had ordered a plate of chips and rice instead of a real meal. The fish and kebabs were almost non-existent and overshadowed by a mountain of carbs. In addition to the disappointing portions, they also increased the prices. I used to get good value for money here but now it feels like I'm being overpaid for a substandard meal. As a long-time customer, I am deeply saddened by the drastic decline in quality and service. I will not return unless there are significant improvements. Save your money and find another restaurant.

Had dinner there today, never again. My wife missed the braised vegetables, This was only brought up upon request and was just braised peppers. On demand why only paprika, the answer was that if you wanted mixed vegetables, you should say so next time, then you would quickly go to REWE and get something. My Jägerschnitzel was made from chicken and, in my opinion, was a ready-made product with a light sauce with a few chopped mushrooms and onions. Cutlery was only brought when the food was already served. If the glasses were empty, there was no question as to whether we would like to drink something else. It should be said that we were the only guests and there were only non-alcoholic drinks that were not even really cold were. You felt like you were intruding. The gentleman who served us preferred to talk to his acquaintances and was not at a loss to make excuses. Not recommended locally.

On May 8th we were here and we had fish Arabic salad (taboula) and sauces In my opinion, the order was the best meal in Mönchengladbach. The staff was very polite and helpful.

I ate here one evening and was able to experience a small, pretty restaurant with very friendly service. The food was exactly what I expected. A mixed grill plate with different types of meat and each one was grilled to perfection! Nicely grilled on the outside and juicy on the inside. I ordered rice with it and also yogurt sauce, which went really tasty with it. So nothing to complain about and therefore full stars from me. Thanks.

We were in this restaurant for the first time today. I have to say I was a little disappointed. The ambience is not appealing. Tables were not set and were not cleared after the meal even though we were the only guests. The toilets were totally dirty. Apparently they hadn't been cleaned. Simply terrible. Maybe it's because of the new owner. The food, however, was wonderful. Very large portions and tasted good. We will visit the restaurant again, maybe we just had a bad day. In any case, there is still potential for improvement.

I do not recommend this restaurant!!! We were there today as a family of 4. We ordered a grill plate, rice was cold, lamb chops like a rubber sole, skewer burnt, vegetables a cardboard. General: no taste, old oil. The only thing we ate was the chicken skewer, a few fries and fresh vegetables or cucumbers and tomatoes. With the shrimp you couldn't separate the shell from the meat. We left more than half on the plate. With a hamburger and drinks we paid €72.50 and went home hungry. Never again!!! P.S.: All previous good reviews still refer to the old owner.

The food was excellent very delicious especially the Dorade fish was so tasty just amazing. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone. The music was a bit loud but apart from that no complaints.

This restaurant is an insider tip! Very inconspicuous and simple from the outside. Beautifully designed inside with a suitable ambience. The food is very tasty, the service is friendly and accommodating. The portions are large and the price-performance ratio is also very good here. This restaurant is simply great!

Leider sind wir sehr enttäuscht von unserem Besuch. Lange Wartezeiten und falsche Speisen Einige Speisen wurden sogar vergessen und wir konnten nicht zusammen essen. Teilweise haben wir die Bedienung minutenlang nicht gesehen. Hier kommen wir leider nicht mehr hin

Essen war super. Portionen sind sehr groß und geschmacklich top. Leider ist der Service schlecht. Sehr freundlich, aber überhaupt nicht aufmerksam. Es wird nicht gefragt nach weiteren Getränken und wenn man dann noch ein Getränk bestellt, dauert es ewig bis es kommt.

Ich kann das 1001 Nacht Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Es ist definitiv ein Ort, den man besuchen sollte, wenn man exzellentes Essen und hervorragenden Service sucht.
