Delicious burgers and nice atmosphere 👍🏻

As a native of Passau, I can definitely recommend the Second Home as the best burger in the city. The staff is super nice and polite and it is nicely decorated. The selection of burgers, salads and drinks is classic and everything is freshly prepared behind the counter. PS: the veggie burger, the salads and the sweet potato fries are heavenly!!!

Small burger shop, but big class! Super quality ingredients and perfect preparation make these burgers something unforgettable! If requested, the burger can be grilled medium and then it really is medium! Big praise to the grill master! Everything tastes good here! I've never had better sweet potato fries! I also think it's great that you can watch the preparation and see exactly what's happening. The animal style is highly recommended. I've never seen it like this before, but it tastes great! Many thanks also to the very friendly and quick staff! If I'm in Passau again, I'll definitely come back here!

The fries were very salty and the meat and the roll had no taste and the drinks were not chilled. I can't really recommend Second Home.

Best burgers in town! The Second Home takes supposed fast food to a new level. Simply excellent in terms of taste and quality. So does the creativity of their monthly changing burger creations. The cozy atmosphere is reminiscent of a hip Berlin pub and the service is always friendly and ready to give advice. I am pleased to be able to use my marketing consulting and graphic design services to give the store a look that does it justice and would like to thank you for the always good cooperation and numerous cappuccinos and burgers (: Here’s to many more!

I've known the shop for a few years and have always enjoyed going there because the burgers and fries are great and the mood and ambience are just right. But now we actually ate there once with our little son (2) and the child-friendliness simply blew our socks off. Everything was really done to ensure that we and our little one had a wonderful experience. A big thank you to the kitchen and service team at the place!

I come to Passau once every year and the first thing I do is pay a visit to my second home. The cheeseburger is simply the best I know. The medium organic meat is super juicy, the sauce tastes great and is perfectly dosed, and the roll is toasted to just the right amount. We can only support the fact that the store consistently focuses on organic products and I imagine that you can taste the difference, especially when it comes to meat. Enough of the adulation, just go and try it. It's worth it!

Was there today with one of my best friends. We ate really well again😋😋 BBQ burger + small portion of fries + small portion of salad. Including ketchup+mayo. You can order it separately. Very cool!! I had the burger of the month and it was unusual, which is what I like when it comes to burgers, and extremely tasty. The whole thing with also very good sweet potato fries, what more could you want?! For dessert, a warm chocolate brownie with a soft center and vanilla ice cream. Unfortunately, “second home” is not for children!! "Families, students, people in suits, people from all over the world: sit down here, then more!" This is how the restaurant is described in the details and is still in the lively dining room. Apparently today (German Unity Day around 5 p.m.) two three-year-old children playing at the table in an age-appropriate manner were too much for one employee or co-operator. After he told us that the children were too loud for him (in an almost empty restaurant with only one other table with a family) we left the shop. A waitress tried to apologize for her colleague, but that didn't stop us from leaving and not leaving any money in this shop. Please delete family-friendly and details mentioned at the beginning from your Google description so that everyone knows what to expect. To the operators, just put the guy on the street, it doesn't make a good picture for you!

We didn't even get to eat because our children were sitting at the table playing with toys. The boss was too loud and came personally and said we should get the children under control because other guests were already looking. The only one who had a problem with it was the boss who didn't have his mood completely under control. So we finished our drink and left the store immediately. Paulaner Spezi tasted good. I can say so much positive about the store.

Really delicious burgers, the ingredients are regional and mostly organic, really top! The meat is grilled medium but also well done if you want and the buns are soft and not dry. What's also great is that you can watch the chef grilling the burgers, the kitchen is right in the middle. Super

Super tasty burgers. No convenience! Price/performance fits. If you don't feel full, you have an eating disorder. Really incredibly friendly and attentive service! Nicely located on a side street. If you want to complain at all: the kitchen is in the dining room. Some like it, some don't... We'll be happy to come back.

Every time we come to Passau from Upper Austria, we reserve a table in our second home! It tastes unique every time! A taste experience for everyone! Our kids love it too! Burgers, fries or salad, homemade lemonades... it's all amazing and always worth the money! The staff is always very friendly, helpful and careful! We are totally in love with you 😍

I ate here for the first time today and I'm really impressed. The service is super polite, attentive and quick. The waiter even ran after guests who had forgotten something after leaving the restaurant to bring them the forgotten item (not everyone does that. Most of the time they say: "They'll probably pick it up.") Great praise and respect for that I had the mixed vegetarian burger with fries and it was great, tasted fresh and was delivered quickly. The fried egg in the burger was on point, not too soft, not too well done. This was by far the best vegetarian burger I have eaten (and I've had many). The fries were also perfectly done!

I ordered take away and my order was ready on time and still warm. Price of €13.80 including fries is more than fair, and I was more than full. Found the whole thing a bit greasy and didn't really know how to eat the burger. Everything fell out and unfortunately it was a bit muddy. The burger tasted really good, but you have to like BBQ. Because after that it tasted 99% good. In the end a bit of the fried egg and guacamole taste came out. I had the vegetarian mix. I can't even tell what kind of patty it was. Tasted too much like BBQ. But service was great. Was there a second time, again everything worked out great for take away. Had the June Special Vegan Loco without jalapenos and mixed fries. It was still a bit spicy, but tasty. Just under €20 is steep, but within reason if you don't do it that often.

Were in the second home for the evening. Ordered two cheeseburgers with bacon. The food came very quickly, the fries were still super crispy and tasty. The burger was a little too salty but otherwise it tasted very good. Price-wise it was good. The service staff was very friendly and quick. The place was quite clean. I can recommend.

Food, service, everything was 1A but the toilet was a disaster. 2-ply toilet paper that tears with the slightest pull. The toilet room is pitch black because the motion detector only works sporadically and the sink doesn't work as it should... otherwise it was really great.

I've been to this store several times now and it's delicious every time! The prices are a little more expensive, but the meat is of great quality and local. There is a solid selection of burgers, including specialty burgers like pulled pork or sloppy joe. The waiters always ask how you want the patty. Speaking of the service: it's really great every time! A bowl of water is brought straight away for our dog without us having to ask. A request for an unseasoned patty for ours was also graciously accepted without any questions. The atmosphere here is great. Good music, nice seating. We can recommend it to everyone :)

NOT RECOMMENDED!!! Ordered the Classic Cheeseburger and got a burger with a touch of cheese. I ordered the meat medium and I received a dry and shriveled piece. Well, the fries were OK. Ambience, well, and the price is completely exorbitant!

Very good burger place, not very big portions, but you fill up well. For vegetarian and vegan burgers you often have to rely on the daily menu, but you can always find very well thought-out dishes there. Priced above average. Gladly again.

The food was really delicious. There is definitely nothing negative to say about this. But what wasn't right was the service. We had reserved a table and were told after 1 hour 15 minutes that we had to be gone in 15 minutes as the table had been given away. So why do we reserve a table if we're going to be kicked out anyway? This is not customer-friendly and, if that is the concept, could be communicated right at the beginning. Then you can adjust to it. In addition, it is not an advantage if the service staff approaches the guests and the waitress rolls her eyes and reacts with annoyance when a guest drops the cutlery. Bringing new cutlery definitely shouldn't be a big challenge. As I said, the food was great, the service was a disaster.

Ambience also very pleasant. Definitely again. You can recommend it with a clear conscience, whether for a date or a men's evening. Simply great.

war der beste burger den ich je gegessen habe!

Wie hatten beim letzten Mal den Chili-Cheeseburger und einen BBQ Burger. Leider war der Chili-Cheeseburger innen noch kalt obwohl Medium bestellt wurde und da wir sehr lange gewartet haben, wollten wir ihn dann auch nicht zurückgehen lassen. Der BBQ Burger war vom Gargrad perfekt. Es gibt leider sehr wenig Plätze und drinnen riecht es sehr stark nach Fett durch die offene Küche. Draußen kann man im Sommer sehr angenehm sitzen. Alles in allem sind die Burger meistens gut aber nichts besonderes.

Wir sind heute zufällig auf das Lokal gestoßen und waren absolut überrascht wie unfassbar super der Service und das Essen waren. Da wird mit Liebe gekocht und zubereitet! Selten so einen guten Burger gegessen! Absolut zu empfehlen!!

Wir waren zu viert da und grundsätzlich sehr zufrieden. Das Personal ist super nett, zuvorkommend und flink. Die Burger wurden frisch zubereitet und waren qualitativ hochwertig und haben auch großartig geschmeckt. Leider ist bei einem der Burgerpatties eine kleine Kunststoffkugel reingerutscht - kann passieren, ist aber bitter, denn ich hab reingebissen und mir damit zwei Zähnfüllungen ruiniert. Damit kam mir ein Restaurantbesuch mit anschließendem Zahnarztbesuch und der Kosten für neue Füllunge teuer als erwartet... Das Essen ist wirklich gut, das Personal auch wirklich sehr nett, hilfsbereit und sie wissen was sie tun, aber kleine Fremdkörper im Patty sollten auf keinen Fall vorkommen.

An unserem letzten Tag in Passau und ein wenig schlendern durch die Altstadt haben wir zufällig diesen Laden entdeckt, Gott sei Dank😎 Wir hatten uns für einen "kleinen" Mittagsimbiss entschieden. Doch das wird diesem Lokal absolut nicht gerecht. Wir hatten schon einige Lokale besucht die Burger anbieten aber noch keines das regional, ökologisch und auch noch ordentlich vegetarisch/vegan anbietet. Letzteres kann ich nicht genauer beurteilen da wir uns für die fleischlichen Genüsse entschieden haben. Ein Classic Cheeseburger mit 50/50 Pommes und Salat, das ist schon mal die erste geile Idee, nicht nur Pommes oder Salat als Beilage😁😎 Bei der Frage wie das Fleisch gebraten werden sollte war ich zuerst verdutzt, da Hackfleisch und Medium doch Recht riskant werden kann.... Da nach einem Blick in die Karte aber klar wurde das hier von lokalen Metzger bezogen und zwei mal täglich vor Ort selbst gewolft wird...... hab ich noch nirgends erlebt. Macht bitte bitte weiter so, 100% Qualität zu fairen Preisen. Der Service spritzig witzig, flott unterwegs dafür ein weiteres top und bitte weiter so. Als Getränk haben wir uns gegen das Lammsbräu Now entschieden, das kriegen wir Zuhause ja direkt vom Nachbarn😜 Die hausgemachte Limonade ist aber eine absolute Empfehlung in der Sorte Holunder.... Auf den Rückweg haben wir uns dann noch zu Kaffee und Brownie hinreißen lassen, ein Traum in Schoko und der Kaffee 🤗 So aber nun Schluss mit dem Lob, Bilder sagen mehr als tausend Worte.....

Bedienung freundlich, Essen gut, aber die Luft ist drinnen hart. Etwas viel unterlüftet, man riecht danach. Das lässt sich sicher leicht beheben.
