Home-style restaurant with a beer garden, a little rustic. The food is good and cheap, the service was quick. There are also dishes on the menu that you can only rarely order. All in all, we can recommend the gym. A good 5 stars from me. Tip: It's better to book a table.

Very tasty food, no one goes home hungry (=large portions), packing up of leftovers is offered as a matter of course and in a friendly manner. There is also a large selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. The menu is imaginatively designed with historical facts about Limburg, the gym, etc. and a recipe for "semolina sauce". Very friendly team. Uncomplicated reservation. This is how you imagine going out to eat. It was our second visit and both times we were completely satisfied. We'd love to come back. Please keep it up 🙏 PS: most restaurants fail when it comes to good fries. The gym is one of the few places with very good fries.

It's a nice beer garden. The food tasted good and was still quite hot when it came. We waited about 30 minutes for the food. The service was very nice and attentive. The toilets were clean. Unfortunately there was too much loud music from the gym next door. That was the only thing that bothered me a bit. I don't know if it's always like that.

Excellent quality and first class service! This is now my fourth time in the “Zur Turnhalle” restaurant and I would come again and again. From the service, to the choice of food, to the ambience (especially the beer garden in summer), I was once again completely impressed. This time I tried the vegan paprika schnitzel with fried potatoes and a side salad and it was incredibly delicious!!! The waitresses and waiters were all super friendly, courteous and attentive. I will always come back and recommend this restaurant!

I am a vegan from the Ruhr area and got along with motorcycle friends in Limburg. The variety of delicious vegan dishes, the inviting beer garden and the courteous, friendly and prompt service made our visit there a lasting experience. The prices are cheap, it wasn't the last time I was there. My three biker buddies were just as excited.

We were there for the first time today and are extremely satisfied. The schnitzels are really tasty and very tender. We had the platter and with 4 schnitzels and two sauces it was really more than enough. Our daughter had the cheese spaetzle and they were also delicious. The portion for the money is also really great. We will be back definitely.

Good Potatoes and good service. Location could be a bit more cozy

The meal took over 1 hour. The breading on the schnitzel was soggy and tasteless. I didn't particularly like it.

Old but good. Service staff friendly, sometimes you have to wave 3 times before they notice you but the dining room is also large. The food is good home cooking and tastes good.

We went bowling there several times and had delicious meals there. The staff was very friendly.

We were there with 8 people on a Sunday evening. The ambience is home-style to rustic. The service was attentive and friendly, but was clearly understaffed. We waited 90 minutes for our food. That's just too long. Since we had an appointment afterwards, we had to more or less wolf down our food. That's very unfortunate because it was really good. What is pleasing to note is the very good and diverse range of vegan and vegetarian dishes.

I tried the onion schnitzel and it tasted very good. Also a good portion size that fills you up. Can not complain. I recommend it with a clear conscience. Will definitely come back.

Great food, generous portions, gourmet block accepted without complaint, sitting inside possible (test, vaccination or recovery can be verified, but on-site testing is also possible), friendly staff, pleasant climate indoors. Edit March 8, 2024: Went to the gym again, as always a very good portion, super tasty and we all came home with our bellies full to the brim.

Everything was great, we'll be back. Food, service and ambience include one of the best in Limburg.

We received a very warm and friendly welcome and were accommodated in a separate room with a large group and many children. That was great - lots of space for the children without disturbing anyone. The service was really nice, quick and fulfilled all your wishes! We'd love to come back!

We went to the bowling alley with our regulars for the Christmas party. The service was great and the food was very tasty. There is also a great selection of vegetarian/vegan dishes. We were completely satisfied and would like to come back.

We were here as a company. The atmosphere is already very old. Nothing has been renovated or renewed there for a long time. The service was very good, the staff nice and friendly. The food average.

Friendly, fast service. Food was good but €19.60 for a schnitzel wasn't worth it. There were 10 of us there and we all found it too expensive.

I really enjoy eating there because the food and the staff are very good. Even when the house is full, you can still get a good seat and get your food just as quickly. For anyone who is very hungry, I recommend the schnitzel platter, it fills you up. The beer garden is also recommended, provided the weather is suitable. On the other hand, while you're eating, you'll learn a lot of interesting things about Limburg's old town.

Sehr lecker! Die Gans war Klasse. Das Schoko Soufflé perfekt.

Letzten Samstag waren wir mit einer Gruppe dort essen. Der Service war ausgesprochen freundlich und umsichtig und mein Flammkuchen abgesehen vom leicht verbrannten Rand wirklich sehr lecker. Wir fühlten uns trotz der etwas erhöhten Geräuschkulisse in dem sehr gut besuchten Lokal wohl.

Noch nie ein so gutes Veganes Schnitzel gegessen. Auf der Karte ist definitiv für jeden etwas dabei. Super freundliches Team. Nochmal ein dickes Lob an den Koch. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Schönes Ambiente, unheimlich freundliches Personal und leckeres Essen, Beilagensalat war ein bisschen klein, aber ansonsten alles supi!

Sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und angenehmes Ambiente. Essen war wunderbar, besonders die große Auswahl an vegan/vegetarischen Gerichten. Bedienung war sehr freundlich.

Das ist ein schöner Biergarten, hier habe ich schon oft Bier getrunken und eine gute Zeit verbracht. Ich hatte mich im Internet diesmal nach dem Speisenangebot erkundigt, dort schreibt man: "Wir kochen für Sie gutbürgerliche, deutsche Küche mit saisonal wechselnden Angeboten. Die Produkte unserer Speisen stammen aus der Region, eingekauft wird nur das, was Mutter Natur in der Saison anbietet. Ebenfalls bieten wir sehr leckere vegane und vegetarische Gerichte an. Selbstverständlich sind auch diese Speisen ohne künstliche Zusatzstoffe!" Darauf habe ich mich verlassen. Jemandem mit Ernährungseinschränkungen empfehle ich trotzdem,bei der Bestellung sehr genau nachzufragen,wie das Gericht zubereitet wird. Das Gemüsegericht, das ich dann serviert bekam, enthielt meiner Meinung nach kwin frusches Gemüse sondern aufgetaute Gemüsenuggets und einen Dip mit eingelegten säuerlichen Gurken ( Zusatzstoffe?) Die Markklösschensuppe war salzig ,leider auch ein Problem für mich.Ich vertrage diese Dinge leider nicht und bekam Schmerzen bis zum Morgen. Ich hätte besser nachfragen oder es zurückgehen lassen sollen, vielleicht mag man mir antworten und mitteilen,ob meine Vermutung stimmt.Das Problem ist,ich möchte wie alle anderen auch mal auswärts essen und kein Fertigfood aufgewärmt dann teuer bezahlen. Bitte um Verständnis. Die Tafelspitzsülze war spitze!, Die Bedienung sehr freundlich und bei dem Andrang wirklich okay.

Wer gut bürgerliche Küche mag, ist hier genau richtig. Im Biergarten herrscht Betriebsamkeit und gute Stimmung und satt werden zu vernünftigen Preisen ist allemal möglich.

Platz genug waren mit 45 Leuten da mit Voranmeldung, essen war gut und reichlich im Biergarten..
