We were taking a leisurely walk with the dog and then stopped here. The terrace is fantastic, with several seating options. A fantastic view. Very friendly service. It was absolutely fantastic that I could pay with PayPal since I didn't have any cash with me! The food was excellent. We'll be back.

"The view is the best thing about this restaurant. If you like greasy food and a long wait, you'll be happy here. If you value quality, you might want to move on." The service was very friendly, but not very solution-oriented. We waited a total of 1.5 hours for our food. At one point, we asked for our child's meal earlier, but unfortunately, this wasn't possible, and we weren't offered an alternative. It's a shame, because a little flexibility would be very helpful, especially for families with small children. This was our last visit.

A wonderful sunset in the "Zur Rheinfähre Nordheim" beer garden on the Rhine. The German cuisine is authentic and delicious. I was particularly impressed by the friendly and attentive service, who genuinely care about the guests. The view of the Rhine is simply stunning, especially at sunset. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, perfect for ending the day with a drink. So, it wasn't that busy, but you still had to be patient with the food and drinks. We had time and weren't stressed; maybe that was just how it was that day! The food was delicious!!

We haven't been there in a while. Where did the wonderful Fauti go? The outdoor area looks rather deserted. Broken decorations and tables. Sat outside for a moment. Nothing going on, and it was July. What a shame.

Very beautifully located restaurant... The food is averagely good, which also applies to the prices. What's unfortunately not good is the outdoor area... Old, broken tables, chairs, etc. throughout... unkempt, withered plants... it could be so beautiful... please bring some "love" into it... tidy up, new paint, new plants... and it would be wonderful.

The Rhine ferry is beautifully situated on the Rhine in Nordheim, with a beautiful view. The website has stated for over a year that Friday is schnitzel day. But unfortunately, it's on Tuesday. It could be updated. The backyard has been a disaster for years. There are endless piles of garbage. The food is average. This place could be turned into a gold mine, but unfortunately, it's down to the management.

Nice day-trip restaurant right on the Rhine. Delicious food, market-standard prices, very friendly waiters. View of a sandbank in the Rhine, a refuge for endangered bird species. I can't understand the grumbling about the food and ambiance. It's a day-trip restaurant, not a Michelin-starred establishment. This rubs off on the other guests, too; people chat from table to table. Although not from the area...it won't be the last time I'll be there.

The website says Friday is schnitzel day, but in reality it's Tuesday. After several months, that could be changed. There have been piles of garbage in the backyard of the Rhine ferry for months, which have been driving up the prices. The view and the food are okay.

Unfortunately, the quality of the food was unsatisfactory. The food tasted bland. What a shame! It used to be better.

Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio is poor and the quality is mediocre. Meatloaf is €18... tomatoes and mozzarella are €9.50... with manageable portions. Fried potatoes are dripping with fat... it could be much better – especially at these prices. The view is absolutely beautiful!

We celebrated a birthday there. It was very uncomfortable inside, with cobwebs everywhere and not very clean. We waited 45 minutes for the food, and it was cold, too. 😏 The online menu wasn't available either, just a temporary menu. Too bad...

The location is very nice and right on the Rhine. The service was very friendly, but since she was responsible for all the tables, everything took quite a while. The large Coke came without ice cubes, which was a shame. The currywurst (sausage) was unfortunately undercooked, and a proper curry sauce would have been good. The fries were great, but they should have been more expensive for €12.90.

Oh yes, idyllic right on the Rhine

Food is good but the portions are more for people who weigh less than 70kg 😉. The side salad could have used more salt for my taste. The service was very friendly! It is extremely beautiful to sit on the Rhine with a view of Rheindürkheim, which is on the other side of the Rhine. The garden furniture is past its best, but it's also a beer garden and that's okay. There are enough free parking spaces available.

We enjoy sitting there. It's just a beautiful spot. The service is always very friendly and the food tastes delicious. When we travel on our bikes, we look forward to a relaxing time and always like to come back.

Edit... After a long time, I went there again on my bike for a drink in the summer. When I arrived I thought it was closed because everything looked so fucked up... So casual is okay, but sometime is also good. I'd like to have a quick drink, but I won't be eating there again. Very nice people, the seating is really nice, prices are ok...that makes up for the unfortunately mediocre food! Addition... The cakes are an absolute GRANATE!! If they're really homemade (that's what we were told, then that's how it will be..) Hats off!!

Even though Google Maps and the website say it's open, no one answers the phone? The landline number. is invalid and at the mobile number. is the participant currently unavailable? And no one has responded via WhatsApp for days either. Well, that's a great service... I just wanted to ask if they're open so we don't have to go there in vain. Good thing I tried. Apparently they don't need guests...?

Nice view of the Rhine from the beer garden. This could be more maintained. The interior of the restaurant was catastrophic. The toilet so bad. Beer is poured from bottles instead of freshly tapped. After this impression, we didn't want to eat anything anymore. The landlord very unfriendly. Service was nice, although there was a long wait for the beer when it wasn't busy. We don't go there anymore.

Everything is fine....*favorite place*

We were there last Sunday at the excursion restaurant to have a cold drink and something sweet to eat after a long walk. However, there was no cake, ice cream or anything similar, just warm food. The restaurant was far from full, but the staff seemed overwhelmed. It took a lot of time before we were even served. We then had to wait quite a while for the drinks, but were then constantly asked by other waitresses whether we had already ordered. I don't know if I'll go there again, but I'll take things with me for a picnic in the future.

A place like being on vacation. Nice service and the food is also delicious.

First, the ambience. A lot of effort is being put into upgrading the beer garden. Plants, flowers, lounge benches with a view of the Rhine... But... it all looks very dingy. There are boards lying around here, old boxes there, the beer tables have tablecloths on them that should actually have had their day, but no longer belong on restaurant tables. The service is super friendly and nice, but the waiting times for the food are quite long. Yes, that's because of the mini kitchen, but it's still annoying. The food is good and fresh, there's nothing to complain about. If only the trappings were better.

I always enjoy going there. First go for a ride with the dog 🐕 and then stop in and enjoy.

Were there today based on a recommendation, actually very nicely located right on the Rhine. Due to the fact that there was just a flood there, I won't rate the cleanliness. But his best days were probably a long time ago. Drinks OK, but unfortunately the food was subpar. Had a hunter-style schnitzel with fried potatoes and a side salad. The schnitzels were 2 small ones, probably deep fryer schnitzels, with a ready-made sauce with a few canned mushrooms, everything was very sober. The menu says fresh mushrooms. The fried potatoes were floating in oil and were warmed up and completely soggy. The second meal, the boiled cheese schnitzel with fried potatoes, was just as bad. The salad was actually ok. I still didn't even eat half of it. The whole thing for 15.90€ is hefty... Unfortunately, I have to say about the operation, I always had the feeling that I was disturbing you when you were on your cell phone or smoking. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this at all! A pity.

Can be recommended. Just because of the location. As one person with a dog, it's easy to be overlooked. Food, generally ok. The fries were definitely way too greasy for me

The beer is sparkling, the sun is warm and with an amazing view, the Faudi is a cute place. If you've covered a lot of kilometers on your bike, a cold, freshly tapped drink is exactly what you need! And when the olt stays at home it is also quiet and idyllic

Nice location right on the Rhine. Although we just wanted to drink something and eat fries, there was a very friendly female service staff. The menu showed some interesting dishes. Today even musical entertainment with live singing by a young woman. We decided to come back, keep it up.

We wanted to eat at Fauti today and understood the announced 60 minute waiting time. Unfortunately we were left high and dry. When we asked, we were told that it would take another 30 minutes, so we decided to leave the restaurant on an empty stomach. Simply frustrating 😕

Would have eaten at "Zur Rheinfähre" today on a bike tour. The view of and over the Rhine is simply fantastic. Protected by umbrellas, you can sit comfortably in the shade even in summer. This very positive impression is affected by the condition of the beer garden. Unfortunately, the property is very neglected and a massive renovation backlog is obvious: there is an urgent need for action here. The service is friendly, friendly, quick and professional. The menu offers what you would expect from a garden restaurant. The taste of the food is ok...but not more than that. Unfortunately, the portions are quite small and definitely not filling on a bike tour.

After we waited for over 20 minutes and were still left completely unnoticed, we decided to leave the restaurant again. Especially since other guests at our table had already stated that they wanted to pay before we arrived. The food has already decreased in quantity and taste over the last year. The ambience right on the Rhine is very idyllic.

The atmosphere is very idyllic. Because of the nice weather it was very, very well attended. Unfortunately you had to wait an hour and a half for the food, but this was announced in advance.

Very very very poor service customer satisfaction. The customer must feel comfortable right from the start and be taken seriously. If the beginning isn't right, the ending can't be good. Messaged me several times via WhatsApp but no response. I then called the number several times, but no one answered and there was no answer via WhatsApp. Would like to paste the chat history here if possible

Nicely away from the hustle and bustle, located directly on a long pebble bank on the Father Rhine, exactly opposite Rheindürkheim. Wonderfully located for traveling there with your dog. Rustic (s) somewhat outdated outdoor area/furniture. We were there in the afternoon around 4:30 p.m., and at that time the entire outdoor area was in the sun. If you are looking for shade, there is also the option of sitting in an open-sided tent in front of the restaurant. Very friendly staff. The seating and other furniture are a bit old, but that didn't bother me personally. Has nothing to do with "Rheinperle", but has the potential to become a "Rheinperle". The Rhine Pearl is really a beautiful spot with lots of potential. We will definitely come back there.

Brilliant ambience with great food right on the Rhine. Great place to stop off during a hike or bike ride. The view of the Rhine from the beer garden is very beautiful. Service and food is good to great, good home cooking. We had the Fährhaus salad with turkey strips and the salad with sheep's cheese and baked champions. The salad was crisp and fresh, the mustard-honey dressing was great. Unfortunately the bread that came with it was dry and tasteless. The schnitzels from the next table looked great. We'll eat them next time. The beer garden could be renovated or made a little more attractive. But the view makes up for it.

Waren an einem Samstag dort, eigentlich sehr schön gelegen direkt am Rhein. Aber seine besten Tage liegen wohl schon länger zurück.Getränke OK ,aber was das Essen betrifft nie wieder.Hatte ein Schnitzel nach Jäger Art mit Pommes und einem Beilagen Salat. Die Schnitzel waren 2 sehr klein aus der Fritöse deswegen sehr fettig,dazu eine Fertigsosse mit abgezählten Pilzen aus der Dose sehr fad.Die Pommes waren OK der Salat ging so,alles in allem lecker ist was anderes gibt noch viel Luft nach oben!! Das ganze dann für 14,50€ heftig... Empfehlen kann ich das nicht!!

Die Rheinfähre ist eine tolles kleines Ausflugsrestaurant direkt am Rhein. Hier kann man schön sitzen und Sonnenuntergänge ansehen. Die Speisekarte reicht von Schnitzelvariationen über Burger und Käsespätzle bis zu veganen Bockwürstchen. Salate fehlen auch nicht. Wenns voll ist, sollte man aber mit etwas Wartezeit bei den Speisen rechnen, das ist wohl der kleinen Küche geschuldet. Der tolle Blick über den Rhein ist das Warten aber wert.

Wir sind seit Jahren Gäste dort. Aber nun nicht mehr. Der Service ist furchtbar inzwischen, es dauert jedesmal länger, 30 Minuten für Getränke, 60 Minuten fürs Essen ist einfach zu lange. Und die Bedienungen sind überfordert und unkoordiniert, Gäste die später kommen werden früher bedient. Das Ambiente ist inzwischen auch deutlich runter gerockt, war Mal schöner da. Entspannter Blick auf den Rhein, wunderbar chillig. Spezialität ist der Odenwaldburger mit hausgemachtem Sahne Kochkäse. Sehr lecker 😋

Preis Leistung sehr gut. Man könnte aber viel mehr aus dem Restaurant holen z.B. bei der Gestaltung des Außenbereichs. Leider beim Salat mit Hähnchenbrust-Stücken sehr wenig Fleisch drauf. Ansonsten sehr lecker. Größe der Portionen auch seht gut.

Wir waren zum Frühstück dort. Tolle Möglichkeit sich alles einzeln zu bestellen. Der Service ist etwas langsam aber das Frühstück an sich gut. Das Ambiente ist prinzipiell schön aber leider etwas heruntergekommen. Ich sage mal man hat zuviel zu tun und ist etwas Betriebsblind geworden. Ging besser. Aber ist nicht total daneben.

Gleich bei Ankunft machte der Außenbereich einen ziemlich vernachlässigten Eindruck, obwohl Hauptsaison ist. Im Innenbereich ist alles sehr zusammengewürfelt, was prinzipiell Geschmackssache ist.. jedoch ließ die Sauberkeit schon auf den ersten Blick sehr zu wünschen übrig. Dann zum Essen an sich. Mein Hacksteak entpuppte sich als halb geschnittene Frikadelle, die Jägersoße ein billiges Fertigprodukt. Das Schnitzel meiner Stieftochter ist meiner Meinung nach aufgetaut und dann in die Fritteuse geworfen worden. Zu perfekt die Form und gleichmäßige dicke, ein klassisches gepresstes Stück Fleisch. Der Wurstsalat meines Mannes war regelrecht matschig. Eine gallertartige Masse, die wohl der Käse sein sollte, machte die Konsistenz sehr unangenehm. Die Salate schwammen im Dressing. Unser letzter Besuch dort. Positiv hervorheben möchte ich allerdings die sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Bedienung, die einzig und allein durch ihre Arbeit ihr Trinkgeld bekommen hat, nicht aufgrund des guten Essens.

Sehr schöne Location draussen im Biergarten zu sitzen direkt am Rhein 👍👍🍻 das Bier schmeckt sehr gut, nur etwas kälter könnten die Getränke doch sein. Essen ist eigentlich alles gut👍 die Bedienungen sind alle sehr nett👍👍 und schnell! Auch der Chef ist sehr aufmerksam und hilft wo er kann👍 Klasse, finde ich gut! Wir kommen gerne hierher, auf Wünsche wird eingegangen ohne Probleme! Danke !

Toller Platz für ein Zwischenstopp bei Fahrradtouren.

Sehr schön gelegen. Direkt am Wasser. Super Livemusik, Aussenbereich ansprechend gestaltet. Beim überbacken Käse fehlte die Pepperoni und das Olivenöl. Der Wurstsalat hätte etwas mehr sein können. Die Bratkartoffeln dazu waren gut und wir hätten noch nachholen können. Die Bedienung war freundlich und flott und die Wartezeit bis zum Bringen des Bestellten war voll in Ordnung. Keine 50 Min. wie auf der Tafel angekündigt war. Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt und wir kommen gerne wieder.

Waren lange nicht mehr hier. Sind positiv überrascht. Schneller und freundlicher Service. Heute (Pfingsten) mit Livemusik. Im Liegestuhl bei Sonnenschein auf den Rhein schauen. 👍

Grillkäse nur erhitzt nicht gegrillt lag schwer im Magen danach. Hackbraten war auch nicht frisch. Schaffte es nicht die Kruste zu schneiden geschweige denn zu kauen. Größe eher die einer Frikadelle. Bei Reklamation keine Reaktion das Menü z.b.aus der Rechnung zu streichen. Nachbessern? Wie soll das gehen, wenn die 3 anderen schon essen. Dumm gelaufen halt. Die Strand Liegestühle sind gefährlich. Nur zum anschauen !!! Ein Kind ca.10 Jahre wollte sich setzen, prompt riss der Stoff. Total verwittert von der Sonne Des muss doch mal dem Betreiber/in auffallen. Wer 15,60 Euro für nen Hackbraten der keiner iss aufruft, sollte wenigstens auf die Sicherheit der Gäste bedacht sein. P.S. Service Personal sehr freundlich Leider keine Empfehlung, da nur minderwertiges Essen für teures Geld serviert wird. Schade eigentlich

Ein Biergarten schön am Rhein gelegen. Wir kommen seit Jahren gerne hierher. Wir wissen um die Stärken und Schwächen der Location. Hier kommt man her, um zu entspannen, etwas zu trinken und eine Kleinigkeit zu essen. Beim Essen sollte man eher kein Restaurant-Niveau erwarten. Einfach aber gut. Beim Essen und Service gibt's immer mal wieder Schwankungen. Man pflegt eine Hands-on Mentalität. Wir kennen das und stellen uns drauf ein. Die Betreiber sind uns sympathisch und wir werden weiter hingehen. Weil es eben noch "menschelt". Wer Perfektion sucht, ist hier falsch.

Super freundlich, lecker und so eine schöne Aussicht 😁 Wir lieben es ! Absolut Kinderfreundlich und gemütlich.

Sehr schöner Ort, um bei einer Radtour am Rhein einen Schoppen zu genießen. Gegessen haben wir nichts, aber auf den Tellern der anderen sahen die Hamburger sehr ansprechend aus.
