On my special day, I enjoyed a cozy meal at the Flammkuchenhaus and treated myself to a "Bauernschorle" (farmer's spritzer) to celebrate, consisting of Riesling, sparkling wine, and a dash of lime. My favorite, tarte flambée with ham and onions, was excellent as always. The service was top-notch! You can tell that the restaurant is still owner-managed. A trained eye for the guests was always present. I was completely satisfied with my visit. So, "A toast to coziness" is what your DJ for weddings in Worms and the surrounding area wishes you.

The tarte flambée is, of course, the highlight here. A large one with the option to have each side individually topped. The service just barely gets one star because we were asked very rudely twice while we were eating whether the food should be wrapped up! We were still eating with cutlery in hand and chewing. A no-go, which prompted us to ask the second time whether we should leave or whether we were unwanted paying customers. The waiter left annoyed and without any reaction. The ambiance is rather rustic but functional under a huge gazebo; it's probably different inside, but we didn't get a seat there because of the stroller. Personally, I've had enough for now and might dare to visit again, but really only maybe.

Reservations are recommended, or you should arrive at opening to ensure you get a seat. The service is friendly, the cocktails delicious, and the food really good. Big eaters can handle the flammenkuchen, but it's also possible for two people to share one with two toppings (half and half). In any case, everything is delicious. If you want a skewer hanging from the table, you'll need to reserve a special table; otherwise, the grilled skewer will be removed and served in a large plate. This was the better choice for me, as it was easier to eat. But if you like the show of the skewer hanging over the table, keep this in mind when making a reservation. Grilled skewers take 30 minutes and spare ribs a 45-minute wait, but they're fresh. The flammenkuchen takes 5-10 minutes and is also very tasty. We were very impressed and went back two days later. Big compliments to the kitchen.

The food was really good, and the price was absolutely justified for the large portions. Three out of seven people didn't have to have anything packed ;) One star deducted for the somewhat disorganized service. We received the wrong drinks twice, once without having ordered it. The ambiance was a bit too dark for me personally, but otherwise the decor was very nice.

Went back after 3 years and was very disappointed. The tarte flambée base was very thick, more like a pizza and tasted strongly of yeast. You get more like a pizza with tarte flambée topping. The topping itself was good. Not too much and not a little and fresh. The service was friendly and quick but there was no real structure. They bring you the bread and take it away straight away, only to realize that it belongs to the table. Cutlery is completely forgotten and you only get some when you ask. 2025-06-11. We were at the wine and beer tavern in Worms again today. Unfortunately, we discovered that the new menu has significantly increased prices. What surprised us most was that we had to pay a whopping €1.50 extra for each tarte flambée we ordered. It should be noted that we didn't like the extra garlic we ordered, which is why we were annoyed by the €1.50 charge.

Arrivando a Worms, scopriamo questo locale mentre stiamo per parcheggiare. Il nome ci piace molto: la casa del Flammkuchen, una delle passioni culinarie di mia moglie. Prenotiamo per la cena. Dopo un godibile tour della città ci accomodiamo in una saletta molto intima (il locale ha più ambienti, tutti molto affollati). Il servizio è rapido ed attento. Costruiamo un Flammkuchen personalizzato e ne ordiniamo uno, viste le dimensioni di quanto arriva ai tavoli. La scelta è caduta su due tipi di formaggio con semi di girasole. La portata è notevole: impasto sottilissimo ma morbido, ottimi i formaggi. Il risultato è un piatto davvero eccellente, come le birre scure alla spina. Il gestore è un simpaticissimo cileno che si intrattiene con noi a fine cena. Prezzi davvero eccezionali. Consigliatissimo!

We chose a table inside because there is smoking outside. All three of us found it quite cold in there. The tarte flambées were ok, but not particularly special, they were quite dry and had a lot of dough that didn't taste like anything. There was little sour cream on it and the bacon was quite tasteless. For a restaurant with tarte flambée in its name, I expected a lot more. This is much better! The tarte flambées are quite large, we took the rest with us. Instead of being put in a pizza box or something similar, it was rolled up in aluminum foil like a kebab roll, crazy!

The tarte flambées always taste very good. Nice service & large selection on the menu. I really like that you can customize the tarte flambée if you wish. E.g. one half with champions & broccoli and the other half with pepperoni & garlic. This gives you some variety when it comes to eating. Very generous portion. You will definitely be full. 👍

I ate there a few weeks ago and have been there several times because the food is really good 👍 but now let's get to the negative... we were there at 8.30 p.m., reserved a table, just walked in then a waitress said... there's nothing left to eat 🥘 and she didn't feel like serving us either. I heard that because she said it under her breath, something like that doesn't work at all... That's just disrespectful) and the shop has until 10 p.m. warm food... I come from the catering industry myself but I've never seen anything like this!!!! Really sad 😢 ) the other girls are doing a really good job, but the lady doesn't do that at all!!!

You used to have to make a reservation days in advance to get a seat, but now there are free tables on Friday evenings during the main meal time. Which is better for a spontaneous visit, but in my opinion also reflects the declining service and poorer quality. We waited forever until someone came to take the order, my husband's tarte flambée came relatively quickly, mine didn't come despite repeated requests. In between, a waiter came and brought me a completely different one than the one I ordered. Since it was completely burnt, I refused it. The waiters blamed each other and could be heard shouting at each other at the counter. We then stopped waiting for my tarte flambée and left. Mistakes can happen, we are all human. But treating guests and each other like this ruins the entire experience. We ate there for the first time yesterday. Very cozy interior. Our seat wasn't the best. It was very narrow. Food was great. Lots of great tarte flambée variants. Would come again for that reason, but would rather sit outside. Glasses were not clean (drink was replaced without any problem) and spritzer comes in 0.4l. People from the Palatinate are used to different things. 😊 Overall conclusion is very good.... Will be back

It was our first time at Flammkuchenhaus and we were not disappointed. The food was super delicious..... Salad dressing wasn't to our taste, well, tastes are different 🤷 Price performance absolutely great. The service is very attentive, but also very stressed. Nonetheless...five stars from us. We'll definitely be back.

Unfortunately we weren't as happy with 6 people there on Valentine's Day as before. I am a trained cook myself and every schnitzel comes with a slice of lemon, everything is too dry. You can go over the salad decoration with the spice mill and balsamic vinegar before sending it, there was no taste. The mushroom sauce requested was too thick. The rest was good as always. We'll probably come back. LG

So you can also share a whole tarte flambée. 😅 The service could have been a little more attentive, for example when the glasses are empty you are asked instead of having to call the waiter. Never again 🙅🏽‍♀️ The two of us came straight to the opening of the restaurant and were treated extremely unfriendly. There wasn't a single table reserved for walk-in customers and we were simply turned away. It's really disappointing that not even 1-2 tables are kept free for spontaneous guests. Something like this should be a given in a good restaurant. We're definitely not coming back!

Best flamkuchen I've tried in Germany

These huge pieces of dough have nothing, absolutely nothing, to do with traditional tarte flambée. The taste was bland and the presentation was bland. The lamb's lettuce, on the other hand, was over-seasoned and piled high with croutons and bacon bits. In my opinion, pepperoni, tomatoes and cucumbers have no place in a lamb's lettuce. The service was mediocre and our waiter didn't manage to hand out cutlery to everyone. The leftover pizza dough was compressed into a roll in aluminum foil by a service worker so that we couldn't separate it at home and then had to throw it in the trash. Realization: For us it was the last time in the Flammkuchenhaus...

An absolute highlight! The Flammkuchenhaus offers an excellent selection of delicious, freshly prepared Flammkuchen. The dough is perfect, the toppings are fresh and taste great! The service is friendly and quick. A must for tarte flambée lovers!

Beautiful iconic restaurant with very nice and friendly staff. There is a huge selection of tarte flambées with a variety of toppings, unfortunately we were missing the usual thin, crispy dough - it was more of a soft pizza dough, but still very tasty.

The tarte flambée is very large and fills you up, it's worth the money. You can use a different topping on one half than on the other half.

Finally a restaurant where the price is right! Parking was very close in the parking garage at the cathedral around the corner. We really enjoyed the food, there was a large selection. It is a quaint, somewhat narrow and winding restaurant. The tables are a bit tight in size because the portions and the plates and wooden boards are large. The skewers are of course something special when hung up. It's also nice that you can have the tarte flambée covered half and half. There is a winter garden in front of the location. We'll definitely come back.

We have been coming here to eat Flammkuchen for more than 15 years. The same goes for today. However, this time a different cheese was used, which did not improve the quality.

If you like things rustic, familiar and delicious, this is the place for you! I was here for the first time this evening with a friend - I called about an hour earlier to ask if my dog ​​could come in. The woman on the phone was super friendly, the dog was allowed with us and she reserved a table for us (without us asking), just in case. It was actually quite full when we arrived - but we were immediately taken to a fairly quiet table, given menus (and what a great selection! Schnitzel lovers, pizza lovers and tarte flambée fans will definitely find what they're looking for) and were then able to order really quickly . The drinks came quickly and shortly afterwards our delicious tarte flambées, which we were able to order 50:50 in order to try out more of the selection. The employees regularly asked if we needed anything, and I think the landlord also checked on us often. The guests included young and older people, couples and large families. The decor is rustic but very clean and the tarte flambées are second to none. We'll definitely be back. A gem in historic Worms, centrally located and absolutely recommended!

Despite reservations for 8 people, we only got the table in the last corner. Apparently they forgot. The table was much too small and there was no cutlery - only when asked. The door to the storage room was constantly being opened, which was also very cold. The bread only came with the starter upon request. Table way too small. Almost everyone had tarte flambée. A table was only added upon request. I was so ashamed of my guests. Never again Flammkuchenhaus!!!

UPDATE 2024: There were three of us sitting in the basement (unfortunately a very musty basement smell) and unfortunately we had to wait 30 minutes for someone to take the order. Can happen! The waiter apologized and was very nice! The tarte flambée I ordered had 3rd degree burns and was returned... So let's start again... The second one was ok. The wine skewer was quite dry, but still ok. Overall, it wasn't quite as great an experience as last time. Conclusion: Both the food and the entire package are significantly better at Wings Flammkuchen Stube (children always receive special attention without being asked, such as crayons), which means there is still room for improvement. 2023 It tasted delicious! Tarte flambée and giant skewers are highly recommended. If you don't make a reservation on the weekend, you may be out of luck or wait longer. The spare ribs are different than expected... (unfortunately) not the well-known American version in sweet and spicy and the bones couldn't be easily removed from the meat... The rub was rather dry, spicy, salted. Everyone does it differently.

Habe reserviert, was offensichtlich vergessen wurde. Waren mit 8 Personen dort um meinen Geburtstag nach zu feiern. Tisch war viel zu klein und nicht eingedeckt. Konnten nicht richtig Essen. Erst auf Nachfrage wurde ein kleiner Tisch dazu gestellt. Ständig ging die Tür zum Lager auf, was auch extrem störte und es dadurch sehr kalt war. Nie, nie wieder dorthin.

They use first names right from the start, which I personally don't like. Personally, I would choose a tarte flambée when choosing dishes. The salad with turkey strips is definitely not recommended. Unfortunately, the taste of it wasn't recommended at all and unfortunately it was also a ready-made dressing. The taste of the tarte flambée was good, just a bit burnt on the edge. The price-performance ratio is still within the normal range.

A bit of an unfortunate place to sit when accessing the toilet, but the food and service were good. It was nice that the tarte flambée could also be divided into toppings and the size definitely justifies the price. With the schnitzels and skewers there was also a lot of food for the money. There was a kind of packing counter for what you didn't manage and wanted to take with you, where the waitress packed it. And at the end there was wine gum, which I've never had in a restaurant before.

A successful evening, I felt very comfortable. The food was very good and the service staff were very friendly and accommodating. Gladly again.

Huge tarte flambée. Perfectly baked. But it was too much/big. But you can take the leftovers with you. The staff was very nice and attentive. The winery skewer (pork) was of good quality, but in my opinion and taste it was too overdone Here maybe 3-4 minutes less on the grill and the meat would still be juicy. All in all, a nice restaurant that I can recommend at any time and if I lived closer to the restaurant I would go there more often.

We were greeted very friendly by the young girls in service and assigned a seat without any problem. The food was very tasty, the atmosphere was nice and appropriate. We continued to receive very friendly and courteous service from the young girls. I just didn't find the lady who initially took our order and cashed it at the end to be very friendly. Therefore a huge compliment to the young girls, who always stood out during the meal and served every guest, whether inside or outside, with great professionalism, were always approachable and were therefore responsible for the majority of the service work.
