The food was delicious as always, but unfortunately, the waiters were just complaining today. We as guests felt very uncomfortable. It's a shame.

First, go canoeing and then eat one of the delicious "Bürger" (burgers). Great atmosphere.

The Ratsmühle was recommended to us, so we gave it a try – we were pleasantly surprised. We opted for the veal schnitzel, and it was just like mom's. For dessert, we had a warm, delicious apple strudel – absolutely delicious. The ambiance was lovely, right on the water. The service was excellent – ​​keep up the good work! Looking forward to our next visit :)

Located directly on the Alster Lake, it's easy to reach, although not by car. You can choose between a terrace and indoor seating. A large selection of food and drinks. The portions are well-priced. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, it's very hot outside in the summer; there are a few shady spots, but they're obviously very popular. Definitely recommended!

We spontaneously stopped by on Father's Day by bike. It was already very busy, but we still managed to get a seat. The food was excellent, the service was quick, and the atmosphere with the view was simply fantastic. We've been here several times, and the quality has always been top-notch.

The food is excellent - I was there two days in a row, once with the BBQ bacon burger, the second time with the chicken schnitzel. Both dishes were delicious and clearly prepared with great attention to detail. The portions were generous. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the prices are perfectly reasonable, especially for this location in Hamburg.

The food was quite good and the service very polite. We didn't like the musty smell and the dirty restrooms.

Delicious food directly at the canoe rental

We ate Wiener schnitzel and asparagus with potatoes. The schnitzel was more like breaded and overcooked. The asparagus unfortunately didn't have the right bite. At most, there was salt in the water. It's a shame. The hollandaise sauce was a ready-made product, which isn't bad in itself, but it was lumpy from the microwave with the skin on. And the waitress only responded when asked. We come regularly. Unfortunately, the quality has declined. It's a shame.

You sit on a terrace right on the Alster and watch the paddlers. The food was delicious and inexpensive, and the service was fast, cheerful, and friendly.

Friendly and nice place with a beautiful view to the water. Beers were cold but the burger bread was too wet and soft so you couldn't grave it by your hands, flavour wise was good.

Guests have praised the generous portions and flavorful meals, with the “Fischpfanne” (fish pan) and house-made burgers.

An outdated restaurant right on the water. We liked it a lot. Upon request, the sun protection at the back tables was extended after consultation with the guests. Thanks for the great service. With boat rental and beer garden.

A pearl on the Alster. Friendly staff, delicious food at moderate prices. The terrace with a view of the Alster is a dream. Covered and even heated in bad weather. When the sun shines, the roof is opened and you sit outside. The service is friendly and competent. Supported by an ingenious service system: On every table there is an order cube, a cube with which you can call the service. Simply touch the Service or Pay later field, the cube changes color and the staff is informed via Bluetooth. Works great. The menu offers a selection of predominantly German cuisine, expanded to include Mediterranean dishes. The portions are large, beautifully served and very tasty! And surprisingly quickly on the table. The kitchen is really on point. We're annoyed that we didn't discover this great restaurant sooner. So that you don't feel the same way, I recommend a visit as quickly as you can - it's worth it!!

I was at this restaurant recently and had mixed impressions. Although the food was delicious, I found it to be a bit greasy - which might be too much for some guests. Unfortunately, it was also quite hot in the winter garden because the heaters were aimed directly at our heads. This made the meal a bit unpleasant because you couldn't really relax. What should be positively highlighted is the cozy atmosphere and the friendly staff, who always tried to make our stay pleasant. Overall it was a lovely evening, but I hope the temperature in the conservatory will be more pleasant on my next visit!

I can highly recommend this place. You are warmly welcome. A nice young team. Location is very cozy and clean. The adjoining rooms are a bit small but also clean and tidy. There were two of us here, but I can see that there is also plenty of space for groups. Prices for food and drink are also reasonable for this ambience and location. Outside there is a large covered area right on the water and in the summer it looks like the roof opens and you sit outside. Great.

Great food, good portions Unfortunately, service only came at the push of a button at the table but it came straight away and was super nice! Always my pleasure. Despite the late hour, there was logically no longer any warm dessert, but the staff recommended great alternatives, and the piece of cake was served beautifully and not just on a plate. Basically a nice restaurant, although the prices on the menu could be adjusted a bit to balance things out. I find jalapenos as an extra for €2 a bit harsh when you get bacon for €2.5. In general, the prices should be adjusted a bit, I'm not talking about it being too expensive, but the prices assigned just don't match the dishes. My crispy chicken burger was a bit dry and I thought it was a shame that it wasn't a freshly breaded chicken patty but a convenience product. Additionally, I would have found a brioche bun better, but it wasn't described that way on the menu, so it's all good. A normal cheeseburger was ordered, but if you had tried the burger blindly, you wouldn't have even noticed the cheese. Neither by the taste nor by the consistency. So you can save yourself and order a hamburger straight away. There was arugula on both burgers, which I think can be saved because you didn't notice anything about the taste of it. If you use such ingredients, then I expect that you can taste all the components of the composition, otherwise it is just an unnecessary ingredient that drives up the price and does nothing for the guest.

When we were looking for a restaurant near the airport, we chose the Ratsmühle. A good choice. Not just because of the location on the water, but above all because the staff is very friendly and makes you feel like a regular from the first visit. The food was very good and the price-performance ratio too. We'll definitely be back.

We celebrated our civil wedding here and were completely happy! The location is simply beautifully designed and corresponds exactly to our style. The service was just as excellent as the food. We were there again after a long time. It's super cozy and attractive. The staff is more than friendly and I personally had the impression that there was a pleasant atmosphere among each other. Food is top. Simple, not too much and overloaded frills and really good. A lot of people complain about the price here, but I can't confirm or understand that Absolutely fair prices, especially considering how not only food but also all other prices have increased for any kind of business. We were here recently as a group. Everyone enjoyed the food very much. The service was good. The only criticism was the cold. There are some heating sources, but we were all freezing in the end (in the winter garden).

We stopped by spontaneously while taking a walk today. The atmosphere has a bit of a ski hut feel to it. The food - a crispy chicken burger with fries and a vegetable platter - was very tasty. The food was served within 10 minutes and was very good. The burger was better than Peter Pane. The vegetable platter was also very good and not overcooked. The service was very friendly and as service should be. Unfortunately, many service employees these days no longer ask whether everything is OK. A great restaurant where the customer still counts, there is great service and good food. We paid €47.00 for two Essem, rhubarb spritzer and Hefeweizen and milk coffee. A fair price-performance ratio!

We were in the Ratsmühle for the first time today and immediately felt at home! Martin, a very friendly, funny and above all attentive waiter, was responsible for us. 👍🏼 His colleagues were also quick and super friendly. The food was really bomb. Tasty, hot and sufficient. The Ratsmühle is a thoroughly Hanseatic restaurant with a correspondingly elderly guest structure and home-style cuisine that offers tasty food, but it also has its price. Given the high price level, almost everything should be right here, but unfortunately it isn't quite right. There's nothing wrong with the service, it's really very friendly and prompt. But the quality of the food has room for improvement. The fish of my favorite dish, Pannfisch, had been on the grill a little too long and was therefore a little too dry, and the overpriced Kaiserschmarrn dessert was definitely not fluffy enough. The ambience of the Ratsmühle is a matter of taste, but the chairs are objectively very expansive and too wide for me, so I found it difficult to move them back and forth and often collided with neighboring guests. That annoyed me a bit, but it's complaining on a high level, because all in all it was quite comfortable and I left the Ratsmühle full and satisfied - but also a few euros poorer.
