Die Schnitzel sind der Hammer, die Bratkartoffeln ebenfalls überragend! Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

Ein Ort wie eine Zeitreise in die Vergangenheit - Rustikal, gemütlich, so wie Kneipen früher einmal waren. Ambiente muss man mögen - mir gefällt es, da es einfach passt. Die Liebe zu Hannover 96 ist hier spürbar. Das Team super sympathisch, man fühlt sich direkt willkommen. Richtig leckere Schnitzel in verschiedenen Variationen. Dazu hatte ich Bratkartoffeln und einen Beilagensalat 😋 Wirklich richtig gut. Mittwochs ist Schnitzeltag, gut besucht - unbedingt frühzeitig reservieren. Danke für einen gelungenen Abend, wir kommen sicher wieder. Bis bald :)

Diese Lokalität aufgrund eines Aufenthaltes in der Nähe entdeckt. Und alle Personen die mit waren (7 gesamt) waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Besuch und den Speisen. Sollten wir mal wieder in der Gegend sein, dann ist dies definitiv wieder auf unserer Liste für einen gemütlichen Abend für Speis und Trank!

Yes, it's the only village pub left in Langenhagen. Very friendly owners who cater to almost every request, super attentive and lovely staff; all in all a great team and a place to feel at home.

We went there on Wednesday for schnitzel, it was absolutely delicious 😋. The service was also very good, fast, and friendly. The ambiance is from the 70s, I think. The prices are quite low, too. I haven't experienced anything like the Alte Schmiede in a long time. Thanks again for everything!

Excellent food in a cozy, rustic atmosphere with extremely friendly, cheerful, funny, attentive, and helpful service. They even arranged a taxi back to the hotel. Perfect for a "last supper" before your vacation if you're spending the night at the airport. We'd be happy to come back if we fly from Hanover again. Keep up the good work!!!

I was at the Schmiede today and had a hunter's schnitzel with fried potatoes. I've never had such delicious fried potatoes, and the schnitzel was also incredibly tasty. I'll gladly eat there again next time I'm in Langenhagen.

The Alte Schmiede in Langenhagen is a real insider tip. It's somewhat hidden, but those who find it will be rewarded with fantastic, homemade food. The dishes are lovingly prepared and taste like grandma's – honest, hearty, and simply delicious. Add to that, the value for money is unbeatable. You pay surprisingly little for the quality and the portions. If you're looking for good food away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place to be. A place you'll gladly return to.

6 hungrige Männer nach getaner Arbeit wurden hier vollständig zufrieden gestellt. Das Essen ...Wir hatten alle Schnitzel in verschiedenen Varianten ...war einwandfrei und die Portionen so wie früher... Nette und freundliche Wirtsleute in gut bürgerlicher Atmosphäre haben unser Abendessen abgerundet. Ein Ort an den man gerne zurück kommt. Unbedingt vorher anrufen da immer sehr gut besucht und Tisch reservieren... Wir kommen wieder..Würde auch meiner Oma gefallen....

Dani is a pearl in the kitchen... if you don't like it here you can't be helped 😂😂😂 Mega delicious schnitzels where you have to do them... for small stomachs I recommend the senior plate where everything is a little smaller. You can't get fried potatoes like mother's better at home. If you have special requests Dani makes it possible…. There is virtually no such thing as no. You should definitely pre-order/reserve, especially on Wednesday, otherwise you'll go home sad 😛 You learn from mistakes, that doesn't happen to me anymore! Hello, Zur Alten Schmiede in Langenhagen is a tavern with a rustic ambience and rustic food according to the motto "Here you can feed like mothers." The menu has various versions of schnitzel with fries or super tasty fried potatoes. There are also daily additional dishes such as: B. the best sour meat in the area. This is more of a pub than a restaurant, especially inside. Schnitzel was partly burnt, very thin and much too dry without sauce. Just under €20 for turkey schnitzel with fries. The quality should be significantly better!! The young waitress was very attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was really pleasant for a pub.

Last weekend at 5.30 p.m. we were back in “Zur Alten Schmiede” with 8 people for schnitzel. Of course we had reserved in advance. It was another happy, tasty evening. We ate 4 x sambal, 2 x Holsteiner and 2x schnitzel with asparagus. The schnitzels were tender and juicy and huge, served with fried potatoes, croquettes or fries. Lots of asparagus, very good taste. For dessert, strawberries with cream. Everyone enjoyed it very much again. The drink selection is also great. The price/performance ratio is absolutely very favorable. Despite the small kitchen, all the dishes came at the same time - also important and great! The host couple had time to talk to us today, it was fun. I repeat: this place doesn't need any advertising, I'm writing this review as a thank you. See you next time !

Wir waren letzte Woche um 17,30 Uhr mit 8 Personen zum Schnitzelessen wieder in „Zur Alten Schmiede“. Natürlich vorreserviert. Es war wieder fröhlicher, schmackhafter Abend. Wir aßen 4 x Sambal-, 2 x Holsteiner- und 2x Schnitzel mit Spargel. Die Schnitzel waren zart und saftig und riesengroß, dazu Bratkartoffeln, Kroketten oder Pommes. Als Nachtisch Erdbeeren mit Sahne. Es hat wieder allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Auch die Getränkeauswahl klasse. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist absolut sehr günstig. Trotz der kleinen Küche kamen alle Speisen zeitgleich – auch wichtig und klasse ! Das Wirtspaar hatte heute Zeit sich mit uns zu unterhalten, es war lustig. Ich wiederhole: Dieses Lokal braucht keine Werbung, ich schreibe diese Bewertung als Dankeschön. Bis zum nächsten Mal !

The welcome was very warm as soon as you entered the restaurant and you felt comfortable from the moment you walked in. The charm of the restaurant reminded me very much of the old restaurants in the Ruhr area. The food is very good, but some of it was very salty. We will definitely be a repeat customer.

Wir waren am 20.3.24 um 18 Uhr mit Elke + Helmut zum Schnitzelessen wieder in „Zur Alten Schmiede“. Diesmal mit dem Linienbus, der vor der Tür hält. Es war wieder rundherum ein gelungener Abend. Wir aßen 3 x Sambal-, 1 x Holsteiner Schnitzel. Die Schnitzel waren zart und saftig und riesengroß, dazu Bratkartoffeln. Es hat allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Auch die Getränkeauswahl super. Endlich mal wieder Bullenschluck ! Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist wohl nicht zu unterbieten. Die beiden jungen weiblichen Bedienungen sind unvergleichlich Spitze ! Aufmerksam, schnell und sehr freundlich bei bester Laune. Das Wirtspaar hatte keine Zeit, hatten viel in der Küche zu tun. Es war entsprechend voll. Manche Tische wurden in 3 Stunden zweimal besetzt. Dementsprechend auch laute Gespräche. Achtung, ganz wichtig: ohne Vorbestellung unbedingt anrufen, ob noch Plätze frei sind. Es kamen um 20 Uhr noch Gäste zum essen. Best schnitzel in Hanover 👍🏻💯 Celebrated my aunt's birthday there and every sauce and various side dishes were simply placed on the table. Daggi and Jörg are super nice owners and the atmosphere is simply rustic. Schnitzel like grandma's 👌🏻 We'd love to come back.

This is how an inn should be and no other. Authentic cuisine, atmosphere and service. Everything perfect. It's still fun to spend your money, although there is no better price/performance ratio anywhere else. The owner is super personable but Laura is sunshine. If I'm in Germany again, I'll immediately return to this piece of home. All the best

Waren 2 Tage hintereinander dort, am 1. aus Zufall, am 2. weil es uns so gefallen hat. Kleine Kneipe mit kleinem Biergarten, drinnen und draußen total urig. Mega Portion, selbstgemachte Hausmannskost, super lecker und unschlagbares Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Personal und Wirt + Wirtin super nett und zuvorkommend.

Top Bedienung, leckeres Essen und Herri vom Fass

Wir waren mit 8 Gästen am Pfingstmontag 2023 nach einer Radtour dort. Wir saßen nicht im Biergarten, sondern drin. Alles gemütlich, wie ein alter Bauerngasthof. Wir aßen Schnitzel in verschiedenen Versionen. Allen Gästen hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Portionen waren so groß, daß es nur 3 Gäste geschafft haben, ihren Teller leer zu essen. Die Schnitzel zart und saftig und riesengroß, dazu als Auswahl Bratkartoffeln. Pommes oder Kroketten. Alle waren begeistert. Der Preis ist nicht zu unterbieten. Auch die Getränkeauswahl super. Am Nachbartisch gab es frischen Spargel. Ebenso riesige Portionen. Manl sollte mehr als nur Appetit mitbringen, am besten Hunger. Und Zeit zum genießen und verdauen. Das Wirtspaar immer sehr freundlich, schnell und lustig. Wir wünschen den beiden, daß sie noch lange dieses Angebot durchhalten können. Ein absoluter Geheimtipp - noch. Achtung, ganz wichtig: die Öffnungszeiten unbedingt vorher telefonisch abfragen !

Gut besuchte Gaststätte. Bedienung nett und freundlich. Bei unserem Besuch voll ausgelastet die Gaststätte, durften im Nachbarraum auf unser essen warten. Preis Leistung sehr gut.
