Sehr gute deutsche Küche. Preise sind günstig. Essen ist reichlich. Komme sehr gerne zum Essen. Kleines Mango, Parkplatzprobleme. Aber nach dem guten Essen machen ein paar Schritte zum Auto nichts aus.

We had the rump steak, the grilled skewer and the prepared beef schnitzel with fries and salad. Everything was very tasty and the meat was tender and juicy. The price-performance ratio is very good. We wanted to test our gourmet block and came across this quaint pub. Thank you for the delicious dinner. Allgäuer Büble Weizen - finally no slouch! The taste of the food was very tasty, including the side salad.

Once again discovered a really home-style restaurant with a cozy and family atmosphere. The kitchen gets a clear recommendation from me. It was all super delicious. Thank you very much, we will definitely come back.

WE'VE BEEN COME FOR YEARS. SUPER DELICIOUS FOOD, LARGE PORTIONS. THE PRICE-PERFORMANCE RATIO IS PERFECT. VERY FRIENDLY AND LIKELY HOST COUPLE. QUICK OPERATION AND THE GLASS NEVER STAYS EMPTY, EVEN WHEN ALL HELL HAS BEEN GOING ON. MOSTLY FULLY BOOKED AND MANY REGULAR GUESTS. THE FOOD COMES TO THE TABLE QUICKLY AND HOT. SO I DON'T KNOW WHAT THERE IS TO COMPLAINT HERE.

Four of us were there on a Friday evening with the Schlemmerblock. Service from the owner was very friendly, can NOT report any “negative” reaction, as can be read in some other reviews. Drinks could also be ordered during the meal without any problems, even though there was a large party there for the goose dinner and a birthday was being celebrated with a la carte in the next room. So service is not fake but very friendly and attentive. Ambiance - it's an honest, good and very clean restaurant, which unfortunately doesn't often exist in a city like Aschaffenburg anymore... where it's all about chic and chic. Food - is absolutely good value for money and also really tasty and freshly prepared. It is worth mentioning that, in addition to the menu, there are also current daily specials. Had four different dishes, paprika schnitzel and steaks from the Argentinian beef rump from the menu and beef schnitzel with pepper sauce and tilapia in riesling sauce as the dish of the day. Everyone was very satisfied. Also worth mentioning is that the side salads are served in front of the main entrance and you can satisfy your hunger. They are also large and fresh with homemade salad dressing. Finally.....the price for everything (side salads included) is really cheap and difficult to find anywhere else for such good food in Aschaffenburg. We'll definitely be back.

Sry, only 1 star. I've been trying to reserve a table there with the Schlemmerblock for months. Apparently everything is always reserved. Then I went there with luck and there were tables available. When you saw the block, everything was supposedly reserved again. Then you just didn't go into the block anymore. Impossible behavior.

Reservation is necessary. Always full on weekends. I couldn't get in because of that. Called again and it was fully booked again. Let's see when it works.

Rustic good restaurant. The food is excellent, the portions, contrary to what some others say, are absolutely appropriate for the price. Aschaffenburg should be happy that there are still married couples who maintain such a quaint restaurant

There were four of us (adults) eating there. Absolutely good home-style cuisine, price-performance ratio very good. The service was very attentive and nice. The ambience definitely fits the name of the corner restaurant... Not quite our taste in terms of space 😉 but overall we felt very comfortable. The salad was delicious, the main course was very good and we all really enjoyed the dessert too. We'll definitely come by again. Since the rump steak isn't listed below, I'll mention it here! It is highly recommended, we had it at our table twice and it was completely empty in the end 😋

One thing in advance - there is no chichi here. You can expect honestly cooked dishes, home cooking with little refinements. And all at reasonable prices. Bring your appetite. The service is attentive, friendly and direct. So, a clear recommendation.

The food was good The service left a lot to be desired... An took the plates from the table without saying whether it was tasty or whether another drink was needed. If you have the gourmet pass, you have to put it on the table in advance, otherwise you will get the complete bill despite registering in advance with the boss's words: Then just take it the next time Times!... presented. The hosts take part voluntarily, no one is forced! We should work on this! Even a small smile would make the whole impression a little friendlier!

Good home cooking, not particularly well seasoned for my taste, but attractively presented. Service is friendly and determined, the atmosphere is like that of a somewhat outdated bar. Card payment not possible. Price-performance ratio okay. I still wouldn't come back. There are simply too many better things to do in Aschaffenburg.

We were there with a couple and we each ordered a daily special for €9. The waitress asked if we also had chanterelles. We agreed to that. When the bill came we looked puzzled. We would have to pay €16 per person for the chanterelles. So €25 for the meal. This is a deliberate rip-off and we will not be visiting the restaurant again. Here guests are lured with the gourmet block and if they come without the gourmet block they are ripped off.

We were there yesterday with the Schlemmerblock. First there was a beef broth, then a rump steak and finally the apple strudel. The steak was very tender and tasty. The portion overall could have been larger. Despite the starter and dessert you weren't really full and that's saying something... The restaurant is very quaint, but that shouldn't be seen as a negative thing. The service was ok, the soup came before the drinks, which surprised me a bit. All in all, a really nice visit.

Home-style food. We were also welcomed with a gourmet block and had excellent steaks. Furnishings simple and rustic.

We were registered for dinner with 2 restaurant passes. 10 people including children. Food was delicious, beer was good, all in all a nice visit. Until the settlement. When we presented the registered restaurant passes, the waitress said in a tone that ruined our evening, to say the least, that everything had already been entered into the cash register and that would no longer be possible. Perhaps you can still understand the way this was conveyed to us as customers was an absolute no-go. The purpose of the pass is to attract new customers; They probably didn't understand that in this restaurant...they won't see us again.

Die Speisekarte bietet viele verschiedenen Fleischgerichte von Schnitzel Wiener Art, Rumpsteak, Fleischspieße bis hin zu Jägertoast. In der Küche steht der Inhaber persönlich, die Gattin macht den Service und sind zusammen ein tolles Team. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Nette kleine Gaststätte im Sommer mit Biergarten. Sehr freundliche Wirtsleute. Er in der Küche sie im Service. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und frisch. Zu der normalen Karte gibt es auch noch Tagesgerichte auf einer Tafel. Vom Fass gibt es Allgäuer Büble Bier.

Ein Landes typisches Wirtshaus, wie man es sich vorstellt, bei der Einrichtung angefangen bis hin zur Essensauswahl: klassische Schnitzel-, Steak- und Fischgerichte, mit saisonalem Gemüse und Pilzen verfeinert (gemischter Beilagensalat normalerweise inbegriffen!). Die Auswahl an Vor- und Nachspeisen ist ausreichend. Die Bedienung war freundlich & aufmerksam und die Preise sind angemessen. Man kann im Haus oder oder auch draußen im kleinen gepflegten Biergärtchen gemütlich sitzen. Klare Empfehlung und wir kommen sicherlich wieder!

Mein Sohn und ich sind happy, dieses Ambiente für uns entdeckt zu haben. So liebe herzliche Betreiber (Familienbetrieb) Das Essen wird liebevoll und geschmackvoll zubereitet. Man wird so herzlich empfangen. Für uns in Zukunft unser Stammlokal. Bisher das beste Colaweizen, was wir getrunken haben. Wir können dieses Lokal mit sehr gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen. Spargelsuppe mit hollandaise Soße drinnen , geht gar nicht , ich bin Koch und wollte mal gut bürgerlich essen gehen …… Ehrlich , ich war etwas enttäuscht Die Suppe katastrophal, der Salat mit putenstreifen war mehr als einfach , mix salad vom Aldi , die Pute war gut gebrachten , Gurkensalat war kurz vor drüber , sonst nichts frisches dabei , keine Tomaten oder Ähnliches , sehr schade Das Schnitzel mit Pommes war’s gut, Rumpsteak war das Endstück, und zu englisch für Medium ……der Rest war okay , allerdings für den Preis nicht Ich war das zweite mal dort , beim ersten Mal waren die Eindrücke Ähnlich …… ich werde dort nicht mehr hin gehen um gut bürgerlich zu essen , das muss ich wohl wo anders machen

Bin jedesmal erneut vollkommen zufrieden mit dem servierten Essen. Die Schnitzel werden frisch geklopft (hört man) und auch ansonsten ist es Preis - Leistungsmäßig echt in Ordnung und auch noch schnell. Zu Bemängeln wäre nur, das die Auswahl an vegetarischen Gerichten etwas mangelhaft ist. Ein Spätzlegericht wäre eine sinnvolle ausreichende Ergänzung. Komme gerne wieder!

Sehr lecker und super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Alles in allem (Service, Essen, Wartezeiten, etc.) zwischen gut und sehr gut und ohne wirkliche Kritikpunkte. Da sich das "Österreicher Denkmal" gegenüber ähnlichen Lokalen aber auch nicht wirklich hervorhebt, gibt es angemessene vier Sterne.

Wir besuchten diese Gastwirtschaft zum ersten Mal und uns ist gleich die unfreundlichkeit der Gastgeber aufgefallen. Dann bestellten wir unser Mittagessen und haben so ein schnitzel noch nie irgendwo gegessen die Soße war viel zu dünn und hat nach Wasser geschmeckt, die Pilze waren 3 Stück auf dem schnitzel. Also wir werden nie wieder unser Geld in so ein schlechtes Essen investieren.

Sehr schönes alt deutsches Restaurant. Ich liebe diese alten spielunken. Sehr netter Wirt und die Portion und das Essen waren mega gut. Wenig Gerichte auf der Karte aber umso besser schmeckt es dann.

Es ist eine ältere Wirtschaft mit einem netten Wirtsehepaar. Essen sehr gut und schön angerichtet. Es sind zwar ein paar Stufen zum Eingang zu bewältigen, aber es lohnt sich. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Der Wirt (Walter der Koch) ist ein absolutes Unikat aus dem Ruhrpott. Seine bloße Anwesenheit ist schon einen Besuch wert. Jetzt kocht der Walter aber auch noch sensationell. Nix Nouvel Cuisine, Streetfood, Vegan, Vegetarisch oder Exotisch sondern klassische gute deutsche Küche und das zu Preisen welche als günstig einzustufen sind. Seine gute Perle Petra sorgt freundlich, schnell und zuverlässig für die Bewirtung der der hungrigen Mäuler. Petra und Walter, eine Kombination die Spaß macht.

Leckerer Mittagstisch zu guten Preisen. Wir hatten hier zu Mittag gegessen und waren äußerst zufrieden. Schmackhafte, ausreichende Portionen und frisch zubereitet. Im Sommer kann man gemütlich im Biergarten sitzen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und zügig. Absolute Empfehlung in Sachen Mittagspause. Komme sehr gerne wieder.

Wir waren heute mit einer größeren Gruppe hier. Und alle mit Gutscheinbuch. Die Karte ist klein aber dadurch sind die Gerichte frisch und selbst gemacht. Auch ohne GSB einen Besuch wert. Wir kommen wieder.

So lecker gegessen. Hatte Spargel. Richtig gute Portion und die Sauce Hollandaise war ein Gedicht.

Küche wie man sie typisch deutsch erwartet. Wir hatten Grillspieß und Schweinelende auf grüner Pfeffersauce. Das Fleisch war bei beiden Tellern schön zart, das Rind rosa und butterweich. Die Bratkartoffeln super lecker und die Spätzle ebenso. Wir kommen gerne wieder wenn wir in der Region sind.
