Anchimi in Aschaffenburg

I've ordered from this restaurant twice through Lieferando, and both times the order was canceled shortly before the scheduled delivery time. This is extremely disappointing and demonstrates a clear lack of reliability in handling orders. I would have expected timely notification or at least a plausible explanation – instead, it's simply canceled. What's particularly unfortunate is that the food is really delicious. It's all the more disappointing that the service doesn't live up to the quality and you ultimately can't rely on it. Based on these experiences, I will neither order from them again nor visit the restaurant in person. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it.

An evening to remember, not only getting to meet and witness an awesome concert from Soen but being treated to a fabulous dinner at Anchimi. From appetizer to main course, the presentation, the taste of the dishes and the second to none friendly service make for an overall great experience. Our taste buds got seriously tingled and we cannot recommend highly enough how good the food was. We will return. Update 2026, still delicious and awesome. Very nice service with a smile and really fair pricing too.

We ordered takeaway sushi here and were kindly informed by the staff that the wait would be about 20-30 minutes. Since it was Saturday and the restaurant was completely full, we did have to wait a little longer, but the service was still truly outstanding. Despite the high volume of customers, all the staff were very attentive and helpful. One waiter even offered us complimentary water while we waited, and another wanted to give us a discount because of the longer wait. This shows me that service and customer satisfaction are truly taken seriously here. Such a professional yet warm approach to minor issues is invaluable and definitely not something you can take for granted. For me, this restaurant offers one of the best service experiences in Aschaffenburg. We'll definitely be back—and we certainly will! And most importantly: the sushi is simply incredibly delicious! Highly recommended!

We come here really often and are always thrilled! The sushi is incredibly delicious – super fresh, beautifully presented, and simply tastes amazing. But all the other dishes are also really good and made with a lot of love. The staff is always very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. You immediately feel at home. The food arrives quickly, even when it's busy, and the atmosphere is absolutely lovely and cozy – simply a place to feel good. For us, it's one of the best restaurants ever. Since then, we've been going there a lot and I recommend Anchimi to all my friends. The ambiance is beautiful, with dim lighting, and I love looking at the sakura tree. The food is also absolutely delicious, and I've never had any complaints about the service. 10/10

From the outside, it looks a bit unassuming at first glance, but inside it's simply beautiful! A great, modern atmosphere. It was still relatively busy, so we had to wait more than 20 minutes for our drinks. The homemade lemonade, however, was nicely presented and delicious. The food arrived after another hour! I had the Thai-style curry, which of course wasn't very authentic, and I honestly don't understand the salad that came with it. The "wild herb salad" was actually iceberg lettuce. That's outrageous! I did appreciate that there was a relatively large amount of chicken. Unfortunately, the portion was quite small. I ordered it spicy and received chili on the side. I assume it's not freshly prepared on-site, and therefore the spiciness can't be adjusted during cooking.

A very cozy restaurant spread over three floors. A lovely spiral staircase leads to the top-floor dining area and the restrooms. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Although the restaurant was busy, we didn't have to wait long for our food. The staff were very friendly and helpful with menu selections. The price was reasonable. We (a couple) would gladly return.

We really enjoy eating here; the food is always delicious, and the restaurant is lovely. We come here quite often. Unfortunately, despite mentioning our nut allergy, we've now found nuts in our pasta twice and in our salad once. There were only a few pieces, which shows that they weren't careful during preparation. This could be dangerous for people with allergies. We hope that they will be more diligent about allergies in the future, because otherwise, we are very satisfied.

A very modern, small restaurant with a great team. We ordered the appetizer platter, a coconut curry soup, and the sushi platter for two. They also served very creative, homemade drinks. The dishes were well-seasoned and beautifully presented. The ingredients were fresh. The fish was especially good. Reservations are highly recommended during peak hours, as the restaurant is very popular.

We ordered food, but were initially forgotten about, or rather, they said the machine was broken. The food was delicious. There was some criticism of the duck with salad. The duck was a bit dry, and the price of €16.90 for a very small portion was quite high.

Super delicious and high-quality sushi/sashimi. We were almost convinced not to go based on the reviews, but due to the lack of shops open, we were forced to... and were surprised! I can't confirm the smell of a deep fryer in the summer, as the front is completely open. However, they do serve fried dishes, and it's an open kitchen! Everything is prepared fresh and is very good.

Unfortunately, this restaurant ONLY accepts cash payments, which is a real disgrace these days! The food is okay. After a visit, your entire clothes will smell of the kitchen, so be careful what you wear when you enter the restaurant.

I didn't expect too much from the business lunch, but it turned out to be one of the best business lunches ever. The food is delicious, and the portions are great. The atmosphere and the decor are nice. The only drawback is that they accept cash only (I didn't see any info or got notified until I wanted to pay). To my luck, they accept PayPal.

The taste of the food is quite good, but my dish, which was actually warm, was unfortunately almost cold. Price performance is not right for me. Unfortunately, we weren't asked once if everything was OK or if we wanted something to drink. It was so freezing cold throughout the restaurant that at some point we were forced to leave and change location to warm up... We won't come again.

Amazing place, great atmosphere and very nice people working there. I had a birthday on a day we were there, and even though the restaurant foes not have any policy about birthdays, they made a small surprise for me by serving our table with cute happy birthday presentation. I was there for the first time with friends and didn't find the sushi menu that appealing. So I ordered roasted duck on noodles and wild herb salad with roasted peanuts. The meat was nicely fried and delicious. Unfortunately, the pasta was completely tasteless and the lettuce leaves - raddicio and lettuce - were not wild herbs. Roasted peanuts are missing. After I asked, they brought me a small bowl of salted peanuts...not roasted. They also didn't have a sauce for the rather dry dish. Personally, I didn't like the fact that the waitress was dressed in sweatpants and slippers. Not appropriate at this price level.

I live on the 3rd floor with an elevator and he literally yelled at me that he had to wait half an hour for the elevator to get up😂. Next time he puts it on the floor in the hallway downstairs. You can't treat customers like that!

We had our food delivered (two starters and two main courses). We were very surprised and thrilled by the quick delivery. However, we had to throw away the food. The meat wasn't cooked through and the salad unfortunately wasn't fresh.

We ate there in spring 23 and were really pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality of the food. It was very delicious. The portions were so big that we could barely fit them. Unfortunately, the beautiful ambience was spoiled by the bad air in the entire restaurant, as there was no exhaust. But the new owner was so incredibly friendly and nice and also explained to us the problem surrounding the non-existent trigger. Last weekend we ordered through Lieferando and were unfortunately very disappointed. Price/performance is not right. Very very small portions, not particularly tasty, very expensive. Unfortunately my husband wasn't full. Unfortunately, my sushi wasn't convincing either. It's a shame but we won't be ordering anymore.

We ordered by phone at 5:30 p.m. and were told that the order could take 90 minutes. After waiting for 3 hours, we then tried to cancel our order by phone. Even after trying to call eight times, no one answered. No more!

The food was very tasty - I didn't like the sauce over my meat, but there was nothing wrong with the taste. Portions adequate. Service was friendly. The only drawback is that we sat at the top, where the ventilation doesn't seem to be particularly good.

After a short while our eyes began to water and burn, so we quickly left the restaurant. That's when we also noticed that we smelled so strongly of fried food that there was really nowhere to go. When you enter another room, you fill the room with this smell. Even after a night of airing, the smell still lingers strongly in our jackets. The service staff was friendly, but unfortunately also inattentive. She usually looked at the floor or away from the guests, making it difficult to get their attention. In such situations, I had to stand up and walk towards them to place an order. Overall the experience was mixed. The food was OK, but the atmosphere and service on site left a lot to be desired.

Six of us ordered sushi and everything was packed in a large box. That doesn't work at all. If there are 3 menus, I expect the operators to think a bit and pack the food separately. Vegetarian sushi were also all included in the normal sushi box We also ordered ginger, the result was that there was no ginger at all. There weren't enough chopsticks either, although of course they didn't know how many we ordered. But overall the sushi was OK.

Food was always great here! However, the pick-up and delivery service is given priority (perfect view from my table to the door)! We've been waiting for our food for an hour and a half. Even the next table who ordered after us received their food. It can only be a matter of hours. Next time we'll have sushi at a different restaurant!!! In the meantime the judgment of my companion arrived, my judgment is still a long way off. No waitress asks if you would like another drink.

The sushi is good and the atmosphere is modern! However, there is a deduction for the fact that you can only pay in cash! I can understand the motivation behind it, but for me as a customer this is a restriction that I cannot accept in 2023.

The food was very tasty, special requests were taken into account (more spiciness), the ambience was elaborate and loving, only the music was a tad too loud for me. The sauces and the lime base are particularly great and outstanding.

Das Sushi ist unglaublich lecker, das Essen ist immer frisch und schön angerichtet. Empfehlen kann ich auch die Pho Currys oder die gebratenen Nudeln. Freundliches Personal, die Chefs sind sehr kundennah und man fühlt sich einfach nur gut bedient. Es wird immer ein Tisch für einen gefunden, auch ohne Reservierung und sogar an Wochenenden, wenn sehr viel los ist.

Laden ist schön aber extrem ungemütlich eingerichtet. Holzbänke und Verhöhrlampen an den Tischen. Personal ist solala. Vermutlich scheitert die Höflichkeit an Verständigungsschwierigkeiten. Unterm Strich ne 4-. Wer solche Preise verlangt sollte definitiv mehr bieten. War 3x da, war 3x enttäuscht. Wer bereit ist so tief in die Tasche zu greifen, hat wirklich mehr verdient

Kein Sushiladen in der Nähe (nah und fern) kommt an dieses Sushi ran! Wirklich absolut top! Bestellen und Service vor Ort ist wirklich unschlagbar!

Wir waren spontan im Anchimi und haben glücklicherweise noch einen Tisch zu viert bekommen. Leider hat es sehr lange gedauert, bis die Bestellung aufgenommen wurde, dann das Essen kam und wir letztendlich bezahlen konnten. Das Essen war jedoch super lecker und auch qualitativ top.

Very nice place with delicious food and good service

Interessante, vielfältige asiatische Cross-Over Küche. Gerichte sind sehr lecker und werden besonders ansprechend dekoriert serviert. Besonders das Sushi ist ausgezeichnet. Der Service ist sehr freundlich, kommt aber leider nicht ganz hinterher, wirkt etwas unorganisiert. Sehr kleine Auswahl an Cocktails, die ich eher nicht empfehlen würde, da sie mehr an Limonade erinnern als an Cocktails. Ambiente ist einfach, aber modern geschmackvoll gemacht. Mit nur kleinen Verbesserungen wären es echte 5 Sterne !

Leckeres Sushi und guter Service. Preis/ Leistung ist in Ordnung- die Qualität stimmt auf jeden Fall. Das Ambiente ist modern, das Lokal ist sehr schön eingerichtet. In meinen Augen das beste Sushi in Aschaffenburg mit guter Auswahl. Vegetarische Optionen könnten aber durchaus mehr geboten werden.

Das Sushi hat uns wirklich sehr gut geschmeckt, vorallem auch toll angerichtet. Es werden frische Zutaten verarbeitet, das schmeckt man auch, da nehmen wir gerne ein paar Minuten längere Wartezeiten in Kauf. Der Service war auch super freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir werden definitiv öfter kommen.
