Visually the food looked quite good when it finally arrived after 1 hour 20 minutes!! Waiting time finally came - go zero! Yes, the store was 80% full, but it was manageable in size and many people had already ordered. About the food: I'm not a person who eats salty food but this didn't even have a pinch of salt in it. It really tasted like NOTHING, zero! There's not a bit of spice or herbs, etc. on it, just for decoration. The vegetables were simply boiled in water and that was it. Plus noodles and fried pieces of meat, that’s it. Absolute no go: the side salad was on the plate and was swimming in the vegetable/meat steaming water. My friend’s “spicy” dish was so spicy that you couldn’t taste anything else. The other dish that accompanied the cream consisted only of cream with meat and mushrooms, and no taste. It's a shame, the basic idea of ​​the dishes is good, but you also have to be able to cook. The “homemade lemonade” was way too sweet, just some syrup mixed with water, and they charged a lot of money for it. You can do it - or not. We won't be coming back! Addendum to the answer: Unfortunately, you can see from your answer that you don't want to deal with criticism and improve, otherwise you would have done so long ago if you had read the other reviews of my peers... Whether everything was okay was probably ignored by our table. Unfortunately, we were in a hurry to leave the restaurant after such a long wait because of a follow-up appointment mentioned by the staff after we asked after over an hour how long it would take. Hopefully all the best for the future.

We can only recommend “Zum Lumisch” over and over again. Everything around it is cozy, the food is delicious and the choice of drinks is varied. The staff is friendly, relaxed and there is always time for a quick chat.

The menu and food is different than in normal restaurants, but it tastes quite good.

Pleasant stay with great, freshly prepared food, so the waiting time is a little longer. It's a shame that the menu is no longer available in the form of a board. It really is a unique selling point.

Cool location, very friendly staff, creative menu. You can just tell that everyone is making an effort here. Waiting time is on the slightly longer side but definitely worth it.

The food was really ok. Unfortunately the service isn't really good. 2 specific questions about food were answered with “funny” answers, which unfortunately wasn’t my sense of humor. Every guest entering was called from a great distance (8 meters) “have you reserved?” and maneuvered to the table with a wide shout in this style. The “beef rump” is simply boiled beef and is arranged differently twice on the menu. I personally find it rather uncreative or boring. Payment by credit card is not possible, only EC. Personally, I find the concept overloaded with bells and whistles; It's good that there is a concept.

We were passing through and had planned a stop in Plauen for dinner. Stopped by without a reservation and managed to get a table. Reservations are recommended. What can you say - everything was great. The service was super nice, everything went quickly, there were crayons and paper for our daughter. The seats are all beautifully decorated. The food was really fantastic. We had the old Knagger, the green chicken and the colorful noodles. Everything was fresh, deliciously seasoned and more than enough. Thank you for the great stay - if we are in Plauen or the surrounding area again we will definitely stop by again…

We went to Lumisch on Sunday without pre-ordering. The location itself is unusual, quiet but centrally located. The preparation of the food took about 20 minutes, but that's completely fine. I didn't think the price-performance ratio was that good. The pasta was swimming in the sauce and the taste of the bacon unfortunately overpowered the whole meal. Maybe less sauce would be better and you could sprinkle the bacon loosely on top. It would also look better visually. The wok dish was very tasty and the chicken was very tender. The lemonade was really great. Overall it was nice...but nothing more. It's actually a shame... the landlord was very nice.

We were guests at Lumisch on Saturday evening without prior reservation. Due to rain we sat inside where it is comfortably furnished. The staircase between the guest room and the toilets is particularly stylish and the toilets are not set up in a “08/15” way. If the weather is nice, it should also be cozy outside - at least you have sturdy wooden benches and a nice view. We were welcomed quickly and friendly in the restaurant. Some tables were occupied. However, it was neither loud nor crowded. It is a bourgeois cuisine. The dishes are by no means traditional and boring, but rather interpreted with a fresh and regional reference. Unfortunately, we couldn't find the current menu online or outside the restaurant in advance, which is why we almost didn't go in. However, that would have been a shame, because two different lemonades and two different main courses, which we decided on after a small talk with the friendly owners, were very tasty. The portions were plentiful and the prices were completely reasonable. Our drinks: - Lemonade strawberry-lemon - Limo elderberry blood orange Our dishes: - Egg cutlets - Old Knaggor It took some time from the time the order was placed until the food was on the table. However, it was completely within the framework and the good taste fully compensated for the waiting time. After the main course, the dessert menu was brought to us, but unfortunately we were too full to enjoy it. Conclusion: We can recommend the restaurant “Zum Lumisch” without hesitation. We would love to come back the next time we are in Plauen and try out more of the unusual offerings. A current menu on the website would be the cherry on the cake.

The three of us were at Lumisch yesterday. The shop wasn't overcrowded, there were several free tables. Nevertheless, we waited at least an hour for the one plate of starter and another 20 minutes later our main course finally arrived. However, I then realized that my meat was really cold in many places, as if it had been sitting around for a long time. After I pointed it out, it was warmed up again, but there was never a word of apology. The taste was ok, but not great. If you are sensitive to noise, you should go somewhere else as it is very noisy.

Ambiente schön, Service insgesamt gut aber die einzige Kellnerin nicht ausgebildet und überfordert. Vorspeise Süßkartoffeln teilweise verbrannt. Hauptspeise Birnenbraten sehr lecker, etwas wenig Fleisch. Um 22Uhr war die Kaffeemaschine schon aus, daher gab es keinen Espresso mehr. Schon sehr fragwürdig, wenn bis 23Uhr geöffnet ist.

Although a table reservation was made 2 days before visiting the restaurant, the reception was more than friendly, you were greeted very and friendly under the motto "why are the guests coming now... even though the guests were in the restaurant about 7 minutes before the reservation?" After ordering the food, about 1.5 hours passed and no food was served. The owner of the restaurant didn't even think of apologizing for the long wait. On the contrary, after asking how long it would take, we were treated even more rudely by the owner in the restaurant because the receipt was only issued at that time. So we had to leave the restaurant. In Plauen there are definitely better restaurants and friendlier owners than the restaurant at Lumisch.

Vogtland cuisine in a modern style, really great ambience, the toilets were clean/well maintained and really stylish, the waiters were friendly and the boss was the highlight! A successful evening!

The menu doesn't promise anything that allows a direct comparison with the wealth of experience. The palate and tongue perceive what the kitchen conjures up on the plate all the more successfully. Rustic and varied in taste. Yummy! Had the heidamel. Incomparably delicious. Thanks also to the restaurateur, who, with his flexibility, was happy to accommodate the drink request for pure gin. This evening with friends was a complete success. Of course, the good reputation requires a reservation, but we know that. In my opinion the price is fully justified. Quality must be rewarded. Gladly again!

Bestes Essen, ein absolutes Muss für jeden!

Waren heute spontan das erste mal dort, waren sehr zufrieden,Ambiente mega genauso wie der Service. Kommen gerne wieder.

Tolles Lokal, riesige Essensportionen, die fabelhaft schmecken. War jeden Euro wert! Waren mit Sicherheit nicht das letzte Mal da! Danke an die Wirtin!

Die Speisekarte beinhaltet hauptsächlich Gerichte unter denen sich niemand am Tisch etwas vorstellen konnte. Wir haben dann ca 1 Stunde auf das Essen gewartet. Die Portionen schwankten zwischen gigantisch (Burger kann man nur zu zweit aufessen) und mickrig. An Knoblauch wurde nicht gespart.

Am 25.08. besuchte ich das Lokal mit meinen zwei Brüdern und meiner Schwägerin.. Das Essen war der Hammer und sehr zu empfehlen. Der Service einfach super, sehr freundlich das Personal, stets um das Wohl der Gäste bemüht. Ein großes Lob geht an das Küchen - und das Servicepersonal vom 25.08.2023. Ein Besuch ist hier sehr zu empfehlen.

Am sonnigen Sommertag auf der Terasse zwischen kühlem Baumschatten und sonnigem Aussichtspunkt lassen sich Getränke und gutes Essen angenehm genießen. Die Speisen kamen zügig und bei den Getränken wurde aufmerksam nachgeschenkt. Das Innere ist mit Liebe zum Detail stilvoll gestaltet, die Toiletten sauber und sinnvoll ausgestattet. Das Waschbecken ein echter Hingucker. Das Personal für einen guten Scherz zu haben und die Preise angemessen. Das Essen war appetitlich angerichtet in einer großzügigen Portion. Parkplätze direkt am Gebäude (Hutmarkt) vorhanden, Sonntags sind auch die am Marktplatz gelegenen Parkplätze kostenlos. Danke für das tolle Erlebnis, gerne wieder!

Die Preise entsprechen dem Angebot. Wer ein bodenständiges und nicht abgehobenes kulinarisches Erlebniss erleben will ist hier bestens aufgehoben. Das Ambiente ist sehr schön und rundet das ganze ab.
