Unfortunately, I was disappointed – you can also go wrong with simple fast food, like here. The bread is unbaked inside and tastes bad. Not a croque experience, but rather a disappointment. Sorry, but for 9.50, you expect something as a customer.

I was there for the first time today. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. The shop is attractively decorated and looks freshly renovated. I was particularly struck by how clean and tidy everything was. Ingredients are prepared in portions and stored in small containers, and the surfaces are sparkling clean—just as it should be! I'd be happy to go back.

The shop is a staple in Langenhorn, having made a name for itself through its high quality. Today, none of that remains. The croques are simply thrown together; no love is shown in the preparation. The baguettes were left open far too long; the ratio of ingredients was simply excessive and over-the-top. The salad was not cut properly; you can see and taste that the preparation lacked time, passion, and love.

Garlic sauce 10/10 but we need döner

Dear Team, I'm actually a satisfied regular customer and shop with you regularly. Today, August 3, 2025, at around 7:15 PM, I bought three croques – unfortunately, there was a long hair in one of them. This is really unpleasant and shouldn't happen. I would therefore like to kindly but firmly request that all employees wear head coverings (e.g., a cap or hairnet) – especially when working with food. This is part of basic hygiene. Thank you for your understanding and I hope you will be more diligent in the future.

Hello. I was hungry for a croque today while I was in Langenhorn. I've known this croque shop since I was a kid. The shop was originally in Foorthkamp near Sport Menkhoff (no longer there). I read the reviews. I don't understand why people don't notice them. Unfortunately, the quality isn't the same anymore. (The croque was soft and undercooked.) It was by far the best croque. Food is OK. Staff friendly. You can also eat on site. Only wheelchair users are at a disadvantage. Because there are 1-3 steps to the entrance and the door is not automatic + I would say it's too narrow. But with a little help it should still be doable if the staff is attentive enough.

We were there spontaneously on a Sunday evening around 6 p.m. At this time you have to wait a bit, but that's okay. Card payment is not possible. You have to go up two steps to get to the shop itself. You can choose between fresh cabbage or iceberg lettuce, optionally with onions. I had a chicken croque with garlic sauce and corn. The taste was delicious, for my taste there could have been a little more sauce on it, but everyone feels differently. The staff was friendly and pointed out to all new customers that there would be a longer waiting time (totally fair). My croque cost around €12 and I had to take a good bit of it home with me, it's really plenty.

I eat here often, unfortunately the new staff are just so inattentive. Unfortunately, the food didn't taste really good the first time.

Hello, I am a long-time customer. I regularly get Croque for my family. Ate there often with friends. Today was the last time I was there! The croques have so little toppings...almost no tartar sauce, so it's definitely way too expensive for a bread like that..It's a shame that a favorite store turned into a complete disaster....The tartar sauce is completely tasteless.

It still tastes as great as it did 17 years ago!

I've been getting my croque there for years... I tried them all in Norderstedt and this one is by far the best.. The sauce is really great... Great team which is always very nice.. The only drawback... I think the prices are really too high for a croque... I started with €7.40 I think and now it's €11.50 plus 40 or 50 cents for iceberg lettuce. I find that a bit too extreme... Yes, I know everything has become more expensive.

We were there for the first time yesterday. We had to wait a total of almost an hour for our food (we hadn't pre-ordered by phone). The staff seemed overwhelmed and the croques were prepared carelessly. The covering is very stingy. Except with sauce, which is why the whole croque only tastes like it.

Not as good as before. Baguette hard and dry instead of fluffy, little topping that you can hardly taste and very thin. The minis are also getting smaller and smaller. You can't get enough of it, not even me as a woman. Otherwise the cabbage used to be soft and tasty, now it's just hard, raw white cabbage that you have to chew on forever. All in all, it suddenly doesn't taste good anymore and the topping doesn't matter, you can't tell the difference anymore because of all the cabbage and remulade. Super tasty croques, well topped, lots of sauce, everyone will find something to suit their taste. The staff is very friendly both on the phone and when picking up. We will be back. Delicious croques, but unfortunately I have to agree with the others. The waiting times are completely misjudged on the phone every time! This then leads to eating a lukewarm to cold croque. Also, sometimes it's way too mushy because there's so much in it.

I always pre-order by phone and then get my croques fresh out of the oven. Very friendly team and the croques are always fresh and very, very delicious.

They were very nice and my order was prepared in 15 minutes The croques were really big and tasty I ordered a gyro and a chicken The gyros were a bit salty for my taste but the chicken was fine But the owner was very nice and I would definitely like to go there again and recommend this shop Thanks again

Filling the croque and collecting money at the same time, including touching money without gloves, is very questionable and unhygienic. After my husband and I ate the croque, we didn't feel well at all. We wonder how this can happen with a simple croque. Unfortunately, that doesn't make up for the good taste.

Quality has deteriorated a lot, especially when it comes to staff. The classic approach now is to pick up the phone, say something like it's going to happen soon and not answer even after 10 minutes. This was the 5th or 6th time something like this has happened and now it's good. I'll just buy somewhere else. :)

Immer wieder einen Besuch wert ! Wer für sein Geld viel erwarten will ist hier genau richtig. Zu empfehlen ist das Sucuk Feta Croque. Der Geschmack der Remoulade ist unschlagbar.

Die zwei dort waren super nett... Der Croque war super lecker...es war mega viel los...dadurch hat es sehr lange gedauert...Das Warten hat sich aber gelohnt! Einziger leider nicht unerheblicher Minuspunkt - die Handschuhe wurden in den 30 Minuten wo ich gewartet habe nicht gewechselt...kassieren also Geld anfassen und direkt danach weiter Croques belegen ist einfach nicht so cool! Dann lieber ohne handschuhe und Hände waschen! Ich komme trotzdem wieder!

Seit 90-er bin ich als Langenhorner Kunde hier. Das Essen schmeckt immer sehr lecker nur ständig wechselnde Personal macht öfter Verwechslungen bei Zutaten und extra wünsche.

Wir haben telefonisch vorbestellt. Wartezeit / Zubereitungszeit laut Mitarbeiterin 15 - 20 Minuten, diese wurde auch eingehalten. Der Croque war sehr lecker und frisch! Hab' also nichts auszusetzen! :)

Nach langem mal wieder ein Toulouse mit Eisberg Salat und Knobi bestellt. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich 😊 und bemüht mir alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Der Toulouse war sehr gut belegt und hatte super geschmeckt. Schade das der Ausenbereich direkt an der Hauptstraße liegt, schöner wäre es hinterm Haus, wo man dann auch draußen gemütlich essen könnte, aber so an der Tangstedter Landstraße ist es ungemütlich.

Per Telefon vorbestellt. Essen war fertig und auch sehr lecker. Leider konnte man nur bar bezahlen, deshalb 2 Sterne Abzug im Service. Der Mitarbeiter war aber nett und freundlich! Würde ich wieder hingehen.

Leider sind die Croques in letzter Zeit sehr schlecht. Wir bestellen immer zum mitnehmen und wohnen auch nicht weit weg. Die Baguettes sind teilweise labberig und nicht richtig durchgebacken/ knusprig. Wir haben es auch jedesmal bemängelt bei der darauffolgenden Bestellung und drauf hingewiesen das sie doch die Croques doch bitte etwas länger drin lassen sollen aber selbst das funktioniert anscheinend nicht. Leider ist es jetzt schon das 4. oder 5. mal. vorgekommen. Normal bekommt ein Laden bei uns nicht so viele Chancen. Weiß nicht was da aktuell nicht stimmt aber finds schade das man nicht reagiert auf Beschwerden.

Haben stark nachgelassen. Das Brot ist mehr ein Zwieback und zerbröselt beim schneiden.
