Zum Fäßchen in Naumburg (Saale)

Toll gegessen, super netter Service, einfach gemütlich- ich komme gern wieder!!!!

Zunächst das Positive: Das Essen war sehr gut, man sitzt schön gemütlich auf der Terrasse, die sanitären Anlagen sehr sauber. Man kann sich dort sehr wohl fühlen, die Wartezeiten auf das Essen sind angemessen. Nun kommt aber leider das ABER: Der Empfang war ziemlich daneben... Wir haben das Schild nicht gesehen auf welchem die Gäste offenbar aufgefordert werden sich zu melden bevor sie Platz nehmen, also haben wir uns an einen freien Tisch auf der Terrasse gesetzt. Außer uns saßen zunächst lediglich 4 andere Gäste dort. Dann hat uns der Herr aus dem Service (oder der Chef?) erst mal eine Ansage gemacht wie wir uns hätten verhalten sollen. (Reinkommen und fragen - wo ist eigentlich der Unterschied zu "draußen erst mal hinsetzen einfach warten bis jemand kommt"? Man kann doch dem Gast dann immer noch sagen dass er aus welchen Gründen auch immer nicht bleiben kann). Ganz ehrlich: Hätten wir (mein Partner und ich) nicht Freunde dabei gehabt wären wir sofort wieder gegangen. Wiederkommen werden wir nicht. Ich meckere nicht über die Preise, ich bin bereit für Service und Qualität viel Geld zu zahlen, aber ich bin kein Bittsteller.

Wir waren zum Abendessen hier und sind total begeistert. Man merkt das hier noch mit Liebe und Qualität gekocht wird. Wir kommen wieder

Sehr freundliches Personal und sehr gutes Essen

Eine ehrliche Rezession und ehrliche Erfahrung. Positiv Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich , wir waren vorbestellt unter 9 Mann da. Das Essen hat wirklich super geschmeckt und war reichlich , wenn auch etwas hochpreisig Die Getränkebestellung war zügig, jedenfalls die Erste. Das Essen kam nach ca. 30 min , jedenfalls für die ersten 6 Mann. Negativ Die letzten 3 Essen kamen nach weiteren guten 30 min nachdem alle anderen schon lange fertig waren und an die frische Luft gegangen waren. Abgeräumt wurden die ersten 6 Gedecke erst nach lautstarker Aufforderung an die etwas gelangweilten Kellnerinnen welche lieber Gläser polierten als sich um die Gäste zu kümmern. Auch so war kein großartiges Bemühen, oder eigenständiges Kümmern um die Gäste, seitens der Angestellten ersichtlich. Man kam sich ziemlich verlassen vor alleine am Tisch ohne Essen und ohne weitere Bedienung. Äußerst verstörend war ein sehr lautstarker " Zusammenschiß " der Kellnerinnen im Gastraum am Tresen im Vorfeld welches alle Gäste mitbekamen. Abschließend Die Kellnerin hat sich im Nachhinein entschuldigt. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut. Jedoch bezweifle ich einen nochmaligen Besuch da man, in Zeiten wo man sich einen hochpreisigen Restaurantbesuch eher zweimal überlegt , wenigstens etwas Kundenfreundlichkeit erwarten kann

Hier waren wir zum 3. Oktober essen, das Restaurant ist überschaubar groß, wir hatten daher auch reserviert. Was uns sofort begeisterte sind Wirt und Personal - freundlich, zuvorkommend und zugleich ein wenig direkt auf eine sehr angenehme Art. Essen war super, der Wein auch. Es waren auch etliche Stammgäste da, was nicht verwundert. Die Preise sind vollkommen fair.

Ich habe dort meinen 18. Geburtstag gefeiert und war wirklich mega erstaunt von der location. Ich habe es vorher nicht gesehen, da ich mich Überraschen lassen wollte und ich muss sagen, diese Überraschung ist mehr als gelungen. Der Service war großartig, sehr nette Leute dort, mit denen man sich gut Unterhalten könnte. Das Essen dort war auch ein Traum. Sehr viel Auswahl und natürlich alles frisch zu bereitet. Das Frühstück war klein aber fein, für jeden etwas dabei. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber und Mega schön eingerichtet. Das Bad ist zwar etwas klein aber man kann dort gut duschen und sich fertig machen. Im Großen und ganzen kann ich es wirklich weiter empfehlen, nur leider liegt es etwas außerhalb von Schwerin.

A small, friendly inn with friendly service and good food. Highly recommended for a relaxing break after a hike or bike ride. It's just a short walk from Kleinjena train station.

Unfortunately, disappointing – no visit took place Unfortunately, I can't give a positive review because no visit even took place. When we arrived, it wasn't clear who worked there – no uniform, no name tag. So I politely approached a man and asked if he worked there. His response, however, was anything but professional: After looking me up and down, he simply said, "What kind of stupid question is that? And what do you girls want?" – That was the end of it for us. We certainly didn't need to put up with insults. So we left immediately. It's a shame – that's not how you treat (potential) guests.

I spontaneously stopped in again today for Whit Monday. Very friendly and accommodating, the food was extremely delicious. Despite the full house, I had time for a quick chat with the chef. Highly recommended!!! I'm reviewing my visit to the restaurant on a Sunday afternoon. We received a very friendly welcome, and even though almost all the tables were taken, we were able to sit down. The service was very attentive and friendly. The food was extremely delicious; the latte macchiato had good milk foam and tasted good, too.

We were there for lunch with a family celebration (16 people)! The advice and service were excellent. We enjoyed the ambiance! The food was delicious and plentiful! We wish the restaurant continued success and many pleasant guests!

Respect is a virtue. I didn't yell at them - they yelled at my brother because he asked them when there would be food 2 hours AFTER they ordered (!). Like the other group of 20 people, we went without food on Easter Sunday. This experience is consistent with other feedback. There is only one cook. Don't come here with a group, it's not worth it. You will wait forever, and the food was sometimes in the warming drawer for 45 minutes. In a small group it depends on your daily fitness. Unfortunately the chef is the owner, no change is expected. He knows better anyway, as no clue from the guests is left without cleverness.

Unfortunately a disappointing visit - no room for hospitality As a family of four with two children, we reached the Zum Fäßchen restaurant shortly before 7 p.m. Unfortunately, no one could be reached by phone, so we set off spontaneously. When we politely asked for a table, we were initially turned away - the best we could do was wait. What was strange was that three tables for two were clearly free. After about 25 minutes we were finally noticed by the service staff. First we were greeted by a young, friendly waiter, who was replaced shortly afterwards by a female colleague. She appeared clearly irritated and responded to our further questions by accusing us of being “brazen”; after all, it was now “closed time for the kitchen”. Ordering drinks was also problematic – a lovely white wine turned out to be a wine spritzer. Shortly afterwards the owner himself appeared to take our food requests. Since we were already quite offended by our previous behavior, we didn't want to inconvenience anyone and politely just asked for the bill. Instead of addressing our concerns, the boss explained to us that his three employees apparently didn't remember what they had previously said and that he "didn't want to discuss it." Although I emphasized several times that we didn't want to cause a problem and just wanted to pay, we were finally told that the drinks were on the house - combined with the statement that I shouldn't be so friendly. I, Christina, have traveled a lot and have gained gastronomic experience myself - but I have never had my good mood so directly denied. And on vacation. Here it is better to give no star at all than one. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the quality of the food - the plates at the neighboring tables actually looked visually appealing. The terrace, on the other hand, was unkempt and overgrown, which further damaged the overall impression. I decided not to use the toilets again after the incident. Conclusion: A place where you don't feel welcome as a guest. Less than three minutes further we found a Greek restaurant that saved our evening with genuine hospitality. Zum Fäßchen, on the other hand, gives the impression that it is not dependent on customers - and unfortunately it acts that way.

Went there for lunch today with 25 people. Service was quick and friendly. The meal, which cost an average of €20, was within the normal range, the portions were appropriate and attractively prepared. In terms of taste, everything was fine. Only the celery mashed potatoes only tasted like nutmeg.

Great location - quiet location

Today was my second time here in a very short space of time. Great cuisine, great innkeepers and modern/chic furnishings. Price/performance is right. [We only ate, not spent the night] Definitely worth a visit

There were three of us in the barrel. It was the 2nd visit. You can eat very well here. I had schnitzel with pepper cream sauce and can only recommend it. The prices are okay, but what irritated me a bit is the price of the water 😳 (see photo)

Well, yes. The high prices in a small restaurant surprised us a bit. We also observed that walk-in customers were turned away because all the seats in the beer garden were reserved. However, no one was sitting there and everything in the dining room was free. Very incomprehensible, especially since most people just wanted something to drink. The service staff was friendly. The food was okay, but we were far from feeling good. We won't be coming back here again.

I'm at the inn every now and then. This family-run business offers a warm atmosphere and the food is freshly prepared. Even vegan is no problem for me. It tastes delicious and the price/performance ratio is great. I can't say anything about staying overnight, I basically live next door and don't need a room there.

The garlic cream soup is so delicious, as are the other dishes. The breakfast in the morning was very fresh and lovingly prepared on the terrace. Especially the fruit plate!

The food was okay, as was the beer. The selection of food is relatively small. A waiter (the older one) relatively ignored us and gave strange answers. The younger waiter was really nice and soon served us. The prices are OK. 3.5 stars,

Great location to stop off while wine hiking! It's really nice to sit outside. The San Miguel is nice and cold and delicious and the chanterelle spaghetti is a blast!

I stopped here with a couple of friends for a spontaneous beer and something to eat. We sat outside and were unfortunately only served after asking directly. Unfortunately, distributing seat cushions on the chairs was priority number one for the operator at that moment. I was very happy that I was able to drink San Miguel on tap again for a long time - cool! The dish we ordered, roast beef with fried potatoes, came quickly and was delicious. However, I and my companions didn't really get full because the portion size wasn't appropriate. What was pleasantly surprising was the chic interior, which unfortunately I was only able to examine briefly on the way to the toilet. If I get the chance, I'd be happy to come back and try out the menu again.

This review only applies to the restaurant that I visited on the occasion of a birthday. I have to say, I would happily give this 6 out of 5 stars, that's how good I thought the food was. The service was also extremely courteous and friendly. Since I am often in this region, be it to visit family or simply to go hiking or kayaking, I will definitely stop by the barrel again and enjoy the great food there.

I'm surprised at the many positive reviews. Then I would like to say that I couldn't have this experience. Waiting time extremely excessive. This means that an assessment of the food is not possible. I'll save myself a second visit. There are very nice dining options in the area.

I can only rate the newly opened restaurant and it is extremely good. The food is very tasty and appetizingly prepared, and special requests are catered for. The service was also very nice and quick. We can highly recommend the restaurant! Open all day from April 1st!

Rooms are clean and lovingly furnished. The location is great, right on the Saale cycle path, you can quickly get to Freyburg or Naumburg. The breakfast was fantastic, well prepared and everything you could wish for. Very nice hosts and the small restaurant is very chic. Absolutely recommended, we would love to come back

We were still without accommodation in the evening and spontaneously found shelter here after 165 kilometers of cycling. We were served so friendly and courteously by the innkeeper and the service that it was a pleasure! Our bikes were also stored without further ado. The late dinner and wine tasted wonderful. We can only recommend the “Keg” and wish you all the best for the future!

Food was average and the prices were too exaggerated, as a group of 10+ people we had to wait over an hour for drinks and another 20 minutes for the food. The schnitzel was thin and tasteless and the service was okay but not outstanding either. For these prices and waiting times it is not recommended

Das Essen ist super und eine deutliche Empfehlung wert. Wir haben es im Urlaub zwei Mal genießen dürfen und haben uns im Biergarten sehr wohl gefühlt.

Selbst das Lokal ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet mit sehr netten Personal Wir können euch nur weiter empfehlen also wenn ihr mal in der Nähe seid und gut essen möchtet dann nichts wie hin Daumen hoch macht weiter so 👍👍👍

Nach einem spontanen Besuch in diesem kleinen versteckten Lokal, bleibt ein mehr als positives Resultat. Das Essen ist sehr lecker, sowohl Fleisch auch als Fisch wussten zu überzeugen.
