First of all, you should definitely make a reservation well in advance! Although the Bürgergarten is quite remote, it's always very busy. We received a friendly welcome. The service was very good and attentive. We had a wonderful dinner here and would gladly come back.

We ate outside the restaurant. It was pleasantly quiet, even though every table was occupied (we had made a reservation). The food was delicious. I opted for the dark beer roast, and it was excellent. Our guests were very welcoming and humorous. On my next visit to Naumburg, I will definitely eat at the Bürgergarten again.

Highly recommended. An old restaurant with a wonderful beer garden under chestnut trees. Even though we didn't have a reservation, they still accommodated us. The food was delicious and the service excellent. Thanks to the waitress's kind recommendation, we had the game soup, which was excellent. The roast lamb is also highly recommended. We'd be happy to come back.

A well-known day-trip restaurant on the outskirts of Naumburg. It's a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the view of the surrounding countryside from the dining room. Service was prompt, even though it was busy. There's an attached hall for larger celebrations. In front of the building is a large beer garden under shady trees. A bandstand with a dance floor completes the picture. From the outside, the entire complex unfortunately gives a rather neglected impression. The parking lot is a disaster. It's a real shame, because the Bürgergarten could be a gem.

So we have to pay 50 € for 2 meals and drinks according to the card but at the cash register they added another 19% VAT and we don't see them anymore 👎👎

This is a very nice restaurant. There is something delicious on the menu for everyone. The service is very nice and hardworking. And when the weather is nice, it's great to sit in the garden and the huge chestnuts. I can recommend the Bürgergarten and would love to come back myself.

Highly recommended!!! The food was delicious and there was something for every taste. The service was very attentive and there were never empty glasses etc. The prices are a bit high, but within normal limits these days for the location. If the opportunity arises, I would come back at any time.

Unfortunately there was a small misunderstanding beforehand. When making the reservation for a large group, I wasn't told that we should call by 10 a.m. to say which dishes we would like from the bus menu, which is great by the way. We were able to sort this out at short notice. The staff were consistently very friendly, quick and the quality of the food was wonderful despite several large groups. Our travel group of 35 was totally satisfied. Thank you and see you next time.

According to the internet, the restaurant is open until 10 p.m. It's a shame that when you call at 7:15 p.m. you are told that the kitchen is already closed and you won't get anything more.

Grandma's kitchen was super delicious. Service is always attentive and simply nice. A must if you are in Naumburg. We hadn't pre-ordered (around 5:00 p.m.) and still got two seats. Thanks to the whole team.

We had pre-ordered for Saturday and... it was packed. The nice male waitress came immediately and asked for drinks. A short time later we ordered our food, which was on our table less than 15 minutes later, which surprised us very positively. The price-performance ratio is right for the current time and we will be happy to come back.

The community garden is long-lasting and always good. For many years when we visit our relatives, we go there. Very good food, large beer garden. Just wonderful. The pepper steak was wonderful, the black beer roast is a classic, and the Parisian-style catfish fillet was also excellent. One of the waiters is a special guy with rough edges. But you have to give him credit for that, he's basically a good guy. Otherwise everything is great there.

Unfortunately the worst rating is 1 star and not negative stars. If you want to be treated with absolutely no standards, this is the place for you!! When I went to the Biergate, there was no service anywhere in sight. Still waiting, as there were several free tables and no sign about waiting, I sat down at a free table. Then a male waitress, supposedly the boss, came and spoke to me from the side in a stupid and slightly aggressive manner, asking if I had asked if I could sit here and immediately called me on my first name. I then left. Wanted to spend a quiet evening. Apparently someone doesn't want new guests.

The service staff are very careful and friendly. You feel really welcome here. A little tip: A reservation would be advantageous because it's busy even during the week.

We had a good meal here 2 years ago and felt comfortable. This time we had to wait a long time for food. The trout was prepared in the deep fryer and the pike-perch with the bag of hollandaise had the charm of school lunches. Unfortunately it was also done carelessly. The waitress, on the other hand, was very nice!

As a regular guest, I have to say, we were in the beer garden yesterday. It only felt like 15 minutes later that service arrived, even though there wasn't too much going on yet. The food, not only that the wrong one was delivered and there was no apology, was of a train station restaurant standard! We were happy for years, but a schnitzel that was dry, everything tasted like magic, the fish had no spices and the cauliflower was overcooked, something like that just doesn't work. Even where the food was brought to us, there wasn't even a lot of cutlery missing. Almost got it ourselves after a 5 MIN wait, like some of the guests. I don't think we'll be back any time soon! A pity

We were actually regulars. Because we were actually always satisfied. But recently the food doesn't taste good anymore. The sauces tasted like pure magic or similar additives. The red cabbage was also inedible. When we asked the waitress about it, she just told us it was definitely because of the new chef. Sorry but this statement is wrong as we know that the chef has been there for some time. It's a shame for the beautiful restaurant. We're not going there anymore.

Great food, great service and reasonably priced. But the portions were also large. Only it was quite loud, not for a quiet meal. You should definitely make a reservation. We would definitely come again. Update: this is our third time here. Probably the last time. The prices... €6.50 for a cherry juice, €5.50 for a beer. Over €10 for a few fries (soaked in sauce) with mushrooms, €8 for a small salad. I am no longer willing to pay these prices. Other dishes are OK and good, like the chicken curry.

You first have to find an inn that has pampered its guests with consistently delicious food and consistently good service for decades! The " Bürgergarten " restaurant in Naumburg is such a pearl of gastronomy and a must on every one of our visits to the city.

We went for lunch on Saturday. We were welcomed and served very nicely. The food tasted really good. Thank you very much and we'll be happy to come back.
