Bürgergarten in Naumburg (Saale)

I had a really delicious meal there with my nephew. Cool, trendy, and historic atmosphere, varied menu, and friendly staff. We'd love to come back and highly recommend this restaurant.

We went to the Bürgergarten restaurant in Naumburg today for St. Martin's Day goose dinner, and it was absolutely delicious. Plenty of meat, well-seasoned and roasted to a crisp, fluffy texture, with red cabbage and kale as vegetables, and lots of gravy. Top-notch! 👌 The service was also excellent and friendly. Guests are truly well looked after here. They even brought us extra vegetables for a special occasion, without any fuss. The service was very attentive and efficient. It was a wonderful evening with superb food. Highly recommended!

We've been here countless times and will continue to enjoy coming. The food is absolutely top-notch. The venison goulash with red cabbage and Thuringian dumplings, for example, is a dream. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside. In the middle of the forest, it's pleasantly cool in the summer. The service is very attentive and friendly. We'll be happy to come back again and again.

When the food arrives suspiciously quickly, you start to have questions. The taste was okay, but my stomach and intestines weren't very enthusiastic... The service was okay, but that doesn't make up for it.

Great place, delicious food, even special requests were accommodated. I'd be happy to go back. Update September 2025: I just had spaghetti with garlic. Excellent! Fresh ingredients like tomatoes and arugula, and the chili was very spicy. I'll definitely have it again!

Wonderful old German restaurant, the food was delicious and plentiful, the restrooms were very well-maintained, the service was attentive, and the beer garden was beautiful and idyllic.

We made a reservation for the outdoor area. The reception and all the staff were very friendly. We didn't have to wait long for our food, even though it was quite busy. The food was very tasty; we couldn't complain. The prices are perfectly reasonable for the portions you get. Definitely worth it.

A really large, cozy beer garden surrounded by greenery, relatively easy to reach. The service and staff are very competent and friendly, making you feel at home. Delicious food and good beer make for a pleasant stay. Prices, as is typical for Naumburg, aren't exactly cheap.

First of all, you should definitely make a reservation well in advance! Although the Bürgergarten is quite remote, it's always very busy. We received a friendly welcome. The service was very good and attentive. We had a wonderful dinner here and would gladly come back.

We ate outside the restaurant. It was pleasantly quiet, even though every table was occupied (we had made a reservation). The food was delicious. I opted for the dark beer roast, and it was excellent. Our guests were very welcoming and humorous. On my next visit to Naumburg, I will definitely eat at the Bürgergarten again.

The food was delicious and the service excellent. Thanks to the waitress's kind recommendation, we had the game soup, which was excellent. The roast lamb is also highly recommended. A well-known day-trip restaurant on the outskirts of Naumburg. It's a comfortable place to sit and enjoy the view of the surrounding countryside from the dining room. Service was prompt, even though it was busy. There's an attached hall for larger celebrations. In front of the building is a large beer garden under shady trees. A bandstand with a dance floor completes the picture. From the outside, the entire complex unfortunately gives a rather neglected impression. The parking lot is a disaster. It's a real shame, because the Bürgergarten could be a gem.

So we have to pay 50 € for 2 meals and drinks according to the card but at the cash register they added another 19% VAT and we don't see them anymore 👎👎

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS RESTAURANT. THE FOOD IS SUPERB AND TASTY. EVERY FAMILY PARTIES ARE CELEBRATED IN THE BÜRGERGARTEN. THE PRICE-PERFORMANCE RATIO IS OK. KEEP UP THE GOOD SERVICE.

This is a very nice restaurant. There is something delicious on the menu for everyone. The service is very nice and hardworking. And when the weather is nice, it's great to sit in the garden and the huge chestnuts. I can recommend the Bürgergarten and would love to come back myself.

Unfortunately there was a small misunderstanding beforehand. When making the reservation for a large group, I wasn't told that we should call by 10 a.m. to say which dishes we would like from the bus menu, which is great by the way. We were able to sort this out at short notice. The staff were consistently very friendly, quick and the quality of the food was wonderful despite several large groups. Our travel group of 35 was totally satisfied. Thank you and see you next time.

According to the internet, the restaurant is open until 10 p.m. It's a shame that when you call at 7:15 p.m. you are told that the kitchen is already closed and you won't get anything more.

Grandma's kitchen was super delicious. Service is always attentive and simply nice. A must if you are in Naumburg. We hadn't pre-ordered (around 5:00 p.m.) and still got two seats. Thanks to the whole team.

We had pre-ordered for Saturday and... it was packed. The nice male waitress came immediately and asked for drinks. A short time later we ordered our food, which was on our table less than 15 minutes later, which surprised us very positively. The price-performance ratio is right for the current time and we will be happy to come back.
