Nice, small Bavarian-Austrian restaurant. Unfortunately closed at this location after the 4th Advent 2024. We are eagerly awaiting the reopening in a new location

Great, delicious food - especially the breadcrumbs (schnitzel), which are also freshly beaten right after you order! Large portions, friendly host, I would probably be there every evening if I could.

The size of the knuckle is almost unbelievable: even after removing the bone, there is still a good 1.2 kg of meat left - at least that was the case with mine. Sauerkraut, dumplings, everything was delicious. Nice everyday antiques, the cheap Christmas market cups next to them are a bit annoying. Subtle music from past decades in the background - a nice location for everyone who likes it a little rustic and old-school. The prices are absolutely fair for 2024 and the service is attentive.

Come here quite often and are usually very satisfied...

The food was nothing to complain about, only the beer, which I would have liked to drink, was just enough. Unfortunately there are no vegan dishes

I reserved a table on Tuesday for Thursday. When I arrived with my guests everything was dark and the restaurant was closed. You can't treat your guests like that. We then had to reschedule at short notice and had a nice evening in the Bramfelder Wirtshaus

Here the schnitzels are freshly plated and breaded. Very tasty dishes that are all homemade. The outside area could be made more inviting. You definitely have to pay attention to the opening times. It's definitely worth a trip.

Incredibly delicious!!! :-) Very large portions - great value for money. An economy that you remember from your childhood! :-) I just felt so incredibly comfortable and transported back to a time when the world was still in order... Very nice host who goes out of his way to make the guest feel comfortable. I had a gypsy schnitzel with fries and salad and what can I say - I grunted with happiness like a little pig while eating it :-) Thanks for the great food. Made my day! :-) I will definitely come back. The construction site in front of the door doesn't stop me. Then I'll test the Jägerschnitzel :-)

Had dinner here with my girlfriend. Our schnitzel was very tasty. Ambience actually 5 stars, I'll deduct one because of construction noise (which doesn't bother me personally) the subway, it'll be finished at some point 😂👍 But, there is a great BEER GARDEN, it's quieter there 💞 Thank you, we'll be back soon 🦽🚶❣️

Nice little inn with a beer garden in the middle of Hamburg. The innkeeper was very friendly. The Viennese style schnitzel and especially the Austrian potato salad tasted very, very good. It really sweetened my break on my bike tour

Food is very tasty and filling. The boss is super nice and funny. Always my pleasure.

Disaster!!! Not recommended!!! We were there on Friday. The boss couldn't find our reservation, which wasn't so bad as there were still enough free places. So, we had a table, but that was the only thing we got there. After 30 minutes my friend went over and asked if we could order drinks, the waitress said she would be right there. 10 minutes later she came and we told her that we would also like to eat something, but we were told that it would take at least 1.5 hours. We then left. You get the feeling that they don't want to have guests there. The whole time we were there, others were sitting in front of empty plates and glasses. Others in front of the menus and others without anything.

Very tasty food, huge portions, very attentive service, very good prices. We had an XXL knuckle, delicately crispy as it should be, but huge. The leftovers are at home the next day. Replacing the insert was possible without any problems. We'd love to come back.

This little restaurant is very special. Great food and an always in a good mood, friendly, humorous host. The furnishings are a bit old and could use some fresh paint. But if not, it doesn't matter :-) We'll always come back 👍

Cozy atmosphere and the best Austrian food at good prices. I was last there three years ago and was pleasantly surprised: the prices and portions have remained the same.

I have been here many times with my partner and family. The staff is always nice and friendly. And if the food wasn't great, I wouldn't have been here more often. So I can only recommend everyone to take a look here.

Very tasty schnitzels! There were four of us and we ate different schnitzels and were thrilled and fed up.

The facility has seen better days. The food is simple but plentiful. Parking spaces are available at Kaufland. Prices are normal. There is currently a large construction site at the restaurant.

Sehr, sehr leckeres Essen. Gute Auswahl. Schnitzel sind riesig. Freundliche Bedienung. Preis-/Leistung stimmt . Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. 🙋🏼‍♀️

Very overpriced, kind of small portions, only one option for vegetarians, I didn't get what I wanted and when I said that I ordered something different, they said that it wasn't available anymore. (I saw other people getting it so I don't know why they said it wasn't there anymore?) I also wasn't presented a different option, they just gave me something different. It was more like an eat or die situation. Sehr überteuert, relativ kleine Portionen, nur eine Option für Vegetarier, ich habe nicht das bekommen was ich wollte und als ich ansprach, dass ich etwas anderes bestellt hatte, wurde mir gesagt dass es nicht mehr verfügbar sei. (Ich habe aber gesehen dass andere Personen das bekamen, verstehe also nicht wieso mir das gesagt wurde) Mir wurde außerdem keine andere Option vorgeschlagen, sondern einfach was anderes gebracht. Es war eher so eine friss oder stirb Situation.

Die Grillhaxe ist der Hammer! Nachtrag: Bei weiteren Besuchen hat uns auch das andere Essen überzeugt. Sehr freundliche, flinke Bedienung. Und wohl erzogene Hunde sind willkommen und bekommen gleichzeitig mit den Getränken der Zweibeiner eine Schale mit Wasser. Sehr nette Geste. Als "Verdauerli" sei der Marillenbrand (für die Zweibeiner) empfohlen. Wir werden dieses Lokal gerne wieder besuchen! Nu

Das xxl Schnitzel ist immer noch super lecker für mich das beste in Hamburg genau so wie der Kaiserschmarrn

Ohne Reservierung haben wir noch einen Tisch bekommen. Später war es echt mega voll. Ich hatte eine Haxe - lecker & cross.

Die Schnitzel gehen nicht besser. Kartoffelsalat, Gulasch, Kaiserschmarren ein Genuss. Die Einrichtung ist etwas aus der Zeit gefallen aber das passt schon.

Essen wie in Österreich! Nicht nur authentisch, sondern perfekt, immer frisch, reichlich und sehr lecker. Wir kommen unregelmäßig aber immer gerne und mit Heißhunger. Es lohnt sich immer, auch die freundliche Bedienung und die nette Stimmung und Ansprache.

Sehr gutes Essen in rustikaler Atmosphäre.

Eine angenehme Atmosphäre für gebürtige Bramfelder um Essen zu gehen. Familienfreundlich ebenso. Über die Portionen kann man sich nicht beklagen und schmecken tut es auch. Leider muss ich in Namen meiner Familie beanstanden, dass ihr das Bauernfrühstück von eurer Karte gestrichen habt. Was auch der Grund gewesen ist, wieso meine Familie nun nicht mehr kommen mag. Das war das Einzigste Gericht, was meine Mutter über Jahre bei euch gerne bestellt hat. Es würde mich freuen, wenn Ihr eure Entscheidung rückgängig macht und mir darüber Bescheid geben könntet. Damit ich euer XXL Jägerschnitzel bei euch wieder verspeisen kann. 🙈 Freundlichen Gruß aus der Nachbarschaft

Hab mir ein Jägerschnitzel gegönnt. War Hammer, Fleisch war super zart und die Portion auch mächtig. Die Bratkartoffeln waren lecker, nicht verbrannt, auf den Punkt gegart. Der Beilagensalat war frisch und knackig. Bin rundum zufrieden :) Komme gerne wieder. Kann ich echt empfehlen.

Die besten Bratkartoffeln im Osten Hamburgs. Sehr leckere Schnitzel. Die Speisekarte ist überschaubar und das ist auch gut so. Das Personal ist sehr höflich und sehr aufmerksam. Sehr empfehlenswert.

Wir haben hier schon des öfteren gegessen und sind immer wieder super zufrieden. Die Karte ist übersichtlich aber dafür jedes Gericht absolut lecker. Meistens essen wir dort Schnitzel. Die Portionen waren bisher immer sehr üppig, man wird also auf jeden Fall satt. Der Inhaber ist ein sehr sympathischer Typ der sich für ein Schwätzchen auch nicht zu schade ist. Das Klientel ist auch älteres Semester was bestimmt nicht zuletzt an der guten Hausmannskost liegt und zudem Stammkundschaft sein wird. Jede erste Woche im Monat gibt es die Schnitzelwochen wo es dann auch mal die ein oder andere exotische Schnitzelvariation gibt. Ich hoffe das das Bräustüberl noch lange erhalten bleibt 👍🏻

Recht leckeres Essen, vielleicht etwas zu fett, aber das gehört wohl dazu. Das Interieur hat die besten Tage längst hinter sich gelassen und vielleicht auch der Service, der ein wenig zu ungeduldig die Bestellung erwartete. Die XXL-Schnitzel waren tatsächlich sehr mächtig und - ebenso wie der Kartoffelsalat - durchaus schmackhaft, die Kasspätzle schmeckten nach fetten Pasta und sonst wenig. Alles in allem: Kann man hin, muss man aber nicht, vor allem wegen des abgeschrabbelten Ambientes und der merkwürdigen Bedienung. Lediglich die Schnitzel bleiben in guter Erinnerung.

Uriges Lokal mit mit rustikalen Ambiente und guten Essen. Auf meine Nachfrage ob ich statt Salzkartoffeln Bratkartoffeln bekommen könnte wurde sofort positiv reagiert. Einziges Manko, das Schnitzel war nicht gleichmäßig plattiert. Werden aber gerne wiederkommen.

Mann muss das Rustikale Ambiente mögen. Waren heute mit mehreren Gästen da.......habe die Haxe gehabt und muss sagen das ich sie mir schon etwas zarter gewünscht hätte......die Schnitzel waren ordentlich und auch die Bedienung sehr aufmerksam und auf zack..........der Marillenschnaps ist ein Geheim Tip......sehr legger........Bier kann nächstes mal etwas kälter sein aber ansonsten ein uriges Restaurant....... Werden auf ein Schnitzel mal wider rein schauen .........

Service freundlich, Essen ok (Preis/Leistung stimmt), aber: der Biergarten ist „gruselig“ … ungepflegt und NULL einladend!

Super nette Bedienung und sehr guter Service. Darüber hinaus sehr leckeres Essen und kaum Wartezeit. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Neue Servicekraft. Für den Anfang recht gut. Leider Schnapsglas und Schnaps nicht kalt genug. Essen sehr viel und gut. Steak wunderbar zart.

Gemütlich, Personal sehr freundlich und man kann den Koch zwar nicht sehen, dafür aber hören :)
