Great Indian food and good service.

The food was really delicious, the flavor was fantastic! Unfortunately, the portion was absolutely disappointing. For €19, I only got six small pieces of meat (about the size of shish kebabs) and half a naan bread. Honestly, I wouldn't order it again for that price. I also ordered a mango iced tea. But you couldn't really call it "iced tea"—it was more like mango juice diluted with water, heavily watered down, and filled with a lot of ice. You could even see the layers in the glass. The menu said it should have fresh mint, but it was just used as a garnish on top, not actually in the drink. Normally, restaurant portions are too big for me—but here, I went home hungry. It's a shame, because the food tasted really good. My suggestion: Either adjust the portion sizes or lower the prices a bit. Alternatively, you could serve some rice or a side dish with the chicken—just chicken and bread seems overpriced for what it is.

THE place for authentic Indian street food. Extremely spiced (warning: for those who don't like spicy food 🌶️😄), the meat is incredibly tender and practically melts in your mouth. The staff, mostly Indian, are very friendly and attentive. It's a really big place, but still stylish and cozy. Especially the seating areas/private areas. And it's fun to peek into the open kitchen. We'll be back! Definitely!💯

Disappointed!! We used to enjoy going to this restaurant chain, but unfortunately, our last visit was extremely disappointing, so we'll choose differently next time: 1. My starter had drastically reduced sauce compared to the previous one, so it tasted very dry and stuck in my throat. 2. The service by the waiter was a complete disaster: pushy and stressful!! We sat in a half-empty restaurant with three dishes for about 40 minutes. During this time, the waiter came to our table several times (5 times) while we were eating to remove cups/plates that had just become empty, which was terribly annoying! The highlight: the plate was still 1/3 full, and they were already asking if it could be cleared just because we briefly put the cutlery aside?? The finale was a bombshell: My empty plate was removed, while my partner still had two pieces on his plate and was eating, and was asked to clear it. Out of politeness, he stuffed down the last bite... that was unbelievable, customer-damaging behavior on the part of the pushy waiter. 3. The quality of the food has unfortunately really declined. A real shame. For example, the mint chutney had an artificial flavor. The sauces were missing from the previously beautifully presented dishes. Conclusion: Of course, no tip! My partner and I felt incredibly harassed and bothered by the waiter. (That had never been the case there before). The lovely Saturday dinner was pure stress. We'll look for a better alternative for Indian food next time.

I had an excellent experience here. The food was outstanding fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great care. The service was friendly and efficient, and everything arrived quickly. This is, without a doubt, the best Indian restaurant in Hamburg. I loved the open kitchen concept, where you can watch the chefs at work. Even the restrooms were well maintained, showing how much attention they pay to every detail.

I'm absolutely thrilled with Svaadish – even though I'm usually very critical when it comes to food. I've tried all three restaurants in Hamburg. The quality and service are equally good everywhere. I've eaten at Michelin-starred restaurants where I didn't like the dishes. But Svaadish exceeds all my expectations in a positive way. That's why it gets 5 stars, and if possible, even more. My girlfriend and I regularly go to Svaadish on Hoheluftchaussee, usually on Saturdays, after a day of wellness swimming. We look forward to the crowning finale during our beauty day. And every time, we experience culinary delights and explosions of flavor. Our favorite dishes are Chicken Jalfrezi and Sarson Salmon Tikka (marinated salmon). My girlfriend regularly drinks a currant spritzer, and I drink the homemade lemonade Nimbu Pani. The food is simply delicious, especially the salmon, which is always served in abundance and of consistently good quality. The dishes are served quickly and hot – on beautiful plates, sometimes even creatively arranged. After all, eating is a feast for the eyes. The cocktails always look very artistic, although we haven't tried them yet. Yesterday, I dared to try a lamb dish to try something different. I'm not a big fan of lamb, as I don't like the extreme flavor. I tried the pepper fry lamb. The dish was garnished with green curry leaves, which you're supposed to eat. It was not only beautifully presented, but also had the right amount of spice. The taste was sensational. The Malabar Parotta was also interesting. I also ordered naan. This fluffy and delicious flatbread is simply delicious. The waiters, who are of Indian descent, are always very friendly and funny. They are attentive yet unobtrusive. I'm happy to tip here. It's just a shame that there's no Svaadish in Ottensen, and I can't order because the three restaurants are too far away. Can this be changed? Ottensen has a vibrant restaurant scene, with both good and bad restaurants. Some businesses close, and new ones open. But we don't need the 100th kebab shop and the 100th pizza place. I would be delighted to welcome Svaadish to Ottensen. I would be the first regular customer.

We went there for dinner. The vibe is really cool. The staff is quite friendly. unfortunately their veg menu is quite small in comparison to non-veg menu. in my opinion, the drinks ( non-alcoholic) are quite expensive. But over all the food is very tasty.

A solid lunch, incredibly well-packaged with various portions in one box (see picture). The dishes were prepared for takeout in 10 minutes, and wooden cutlery was also included. I thought it tasted good, but there are finer Indian dishes available.

We got a table for four in the evening without a reservation. It was top-notch and uncomplicated. We received excellent service, and we found the staff very attentive and courteous. The wait times were reasonably short, and the food served was excellently prepared, hot, and very tasty. The spicy (European) and certain dishes, very spicy (Indian), reminded us of our trip to India. The noise level in the restaurant was also Indian;)) Highly recommended location, and if we're ever in Hamburg again, we'll definitely stop by again. Namaste from Zurich

Gopal is super friendly and helpful, and the food at Svaadish always tastes fresh and authentic. We look forward to a visit every time, even if we only stop by occasionally due to transportation constraints. A definite thumbs up! 👍

There's food for all tastes; the flavors are exotic and delicious. If you have a low tolerance for spicy food, it's best to let them know so they can use less spice on your plate. We've always had a very good experience with them. Highly recommended. Gopal served us, and he was very friendly and prompt. They also celebrated our birthday in a very special and surprising way.

If you're looking for delicious flavors and a decent portion, this is the place for you! The staff is very friendly and happy to answer any questions you may have. I recommend the mango lassi; it's fruity and mild. We had the chicken tikka masala and chicken jalfrezi from the classic Indian kitchen. The prices are reasonable, as the preparation is so lovingly done. I immediately ordered the tikka masala again to go... Takeaway orders are also available.

I ordered food on July 12. The naan was raw, not just undercooked, but actually doughy. Whoever made it clearly has no business in a kitchen. Serving that to customers shows zero attention or care. Completely unacceptable.

I do not recommend it at all. It is very, very expensive, and you have to look for the meal under a microscope to find it on the plate. I ordered meat biryani, unfortunately the rice came without meat. This is shameful. A meal that costs approximately 25 euros with 3 grams of meat. How about biryani with zucchini and green beans? Is this really an Indian restaurant or something like a joke? What about the chicken masala? May your home be ruined. You bring the food in a bowl of water. You should have taken my money and sent me a picture of the food via WhatsApp. It was much better than my bad experience with you.

Very good, delicious food, exactly as I imagined. There were two of us, and we both enjoyed it immensely. The prices are reasonable, and the service was very friendly and attentive. The restrooms are spacious and clean. I'd be happy to go again, if I get a chance.

Everything is top-notch, very good quality, friendly staff, and something different! I'll be honest, it could be a bit cheaper, and if you want to eat your fill, this is the wrong place, but it's still worth a visit.

I went there and had the lunch menu with various chicken curries. It was delicious, but my friend and I, who ate the same thing, both had the worst stomach aches and cramps of our lives! You can imagine the rest... We spent the whole night and the whole morning on the toilet. Thanks for the delicious food and the really uncool surprise afterwards. Sorry, but I'll never be back, which is a real shame, because it was honestly delicious :(

My chicken was delicious, but the waitress kept drying the cutlery and throwing it into the box // that was loud and insensitive. With a wave of the tap, the service briefly stopped and then the noise continued. That's rather weak.

Das Hänchen war verbrannt und extra in Soße gerührt ,das Gemüse in der Soße war nicht durch .Der Reis war zu trocknen. Ich habe den Kellner mein Problem gewidmet ,er hat es ignoriert und gesagt es sei normal Ich hätte eine Toleranz und Entschuldigung erwartet . Ich hatte solche Krämpfe nach dem Essen und Bauchschmerzen . Einmal und Nie wieder mehr

Absolutely first class curries and the best paneer I've had in a long time!

Had dinner there with my wife after work. The food is great and the waiters are super nice. People often ask if everything is OK and if the food tastes good. Everything is covered: vegetarian, vegan and the meat is helical. Best Indian Restaurant!

Nice atmosphere and decor Food was also delicious, although a bit too expensive. Mango lassi for 4.8 is already steep, but everything is beautifully served. Employees are all very friendly. There's nothing to complain about, everything's great, I'll be happy to come back. 👍🏻
