Ended up here while passing through because warm food is offered all day for lunch. Very nice beer garden, the service and the food were perfect. Parking space for larger vehicles right in front of the door.

My wife and I wanted to go out to eat there with our visit, but it was too hot 🥵 and stuffy in the restaurant and there was no service outside, so we wanted to open the windows in the restaurant and we were forbidden to do so 🚫! This was the second time we were there because we live nearby and the second time we were treated badly by this staff! We won't be seen in this shed again. I don't know how a store like that can survive!

Service very good that evening. I had a fish platter with salad and boiled potatoes. Unfortunately no sauce for the dish. Why not ? Dill sauce is easy to make. Taste okay. But not a highlight.

The Bavarian Krug is simply an incredible location, the atmosphere is perfect, the employees here are very friendly, helpful and fond of children, the food is on the table quickly even when it is full, you feel at home here. I'll come by more often!

Disaster, we had reserved for 7 people. When we arrived, a very unfriendly employee said that there was no table reserved for us. It was also impossible for 7 people to get a table in the half-empty restaurant. We should also explain to ourselves what kind of guests we are. We meet regularly in different locations to eat and chat, but we have never experienced anything like this. And our team was already playing a European Championship game that day, so the fact that many other guests were expected is a fairy tale in my opinion.

We went into a Bavarian restaurant, nice waiter Good evening we got! Then we chose a table, got the menus from another waiter (Boxer cut) and we ordered cola! The cola was Pepsi (yuck) no taste at all just like sweetener!! Oh well!! Ordered food Got, sauerkraut and boiled potatoes!! My husband was looking forward to half the knuckle when it came......... It was on the crust (floppy fat) The brown sauce has been made! Sauerkraut was sour! Potatoes were good! My plaice was delicious, couldn't fault anything, only the salad was unvarnished Melige tomatoes 🍅 and the other vegetables went back I paid a good €40 for a half-satisfied meal It's a shame, I thought it would have been better...

We always enjoy coming here. It's really nice, especially in summer when you can sit outside. The food is down-to-earth and the P/L ratio is right. A real winner is the Spaten beer, which is not available everywhere. In general there is a recommendation.

As a small party for the wedding we were guests at the Bavarian Krug. We were served excellently by a super nice and friendly waitress. There was something for everyone on the memory card. The meal was excellent. I would come here again at any time. The restaurant can only be recommended...

Today we were there again after a long time. We ordered goulash soup and a latte macchiato, among other things. According to the menu, the latte was 3.90 euros and the goulash soup was 5.40 euros, and we also ordered a slice of toast. We were very surprised when we received the bill and the latte cost 4.50 euros and the small slice of toast was charged 1.00 euros. When we asked, we were refunded the 0.60 cents with the note that they didn't know what the problem was The 1 euro for the slice of toast is the correct price, which has now been set by the boss. The waiter, very nice, wanted to talk to his boss about the problem the next day. I think an apology wouldn't have been a bad idea. Beautifully located on a lake, a rustic Bavarian restaurant with original Bavarian hearty dishes, but also light dishes are available. A separate room for around 10 people, a veranda and a large beer garden invite you to linger. A good price-performance ratio. Let me advise you, drink spades!

The waiter was a bit hectic, you waited forever for your bill. Otherwise the food was tasty and good portions.

Waiters tried hard, food: a lot of fried food, everything tasted ready-made. Good parking situation, menu but unfortunately without consideration for vegan diets. Just the headline “meat refusers”. Oh well. Maybe it should be funny, but it isn't. Therefore not suitable for a family meal where everyone will be full and happy. A pity. It would be so easy.

Our favorite restaurant with German cuisine and it also tastes good like grandma used to make it. Well suited for family celebrations or a social evening with friends. Friendly staff, you can always find free parking. You should always reserve in advance if you are going with several people.

Thanks for nothing… Thank you for your “friendly comment”, but we had an excellent meal in another restaurant with a very friendly welcoming culture. Nice restaurant, super nice staff, but unfortunately the food was subpar. It was too salty, the meat was tough and dry (it probably died in the pan again) and my counterpart's schnitzel was very gristly. A pity. We were actually hoping for delicious food.

Wir (2 Personen) waren am 3. Advent spontan zum Mittagessen im Restaurant und bekamen einen Platz an der Bar. Für unsere Zwecke (ein Mittagessen) völlig ausreichend. Die Rinderroulade war wieder ein Traum. Auf Nachfrage gab es auch nochmal eine extra Portion Sauce. 👌🏼 Die Preise für Essen und Getränke sind super. Das altbackenere Ambiente stört mich persönlich nicht. Ich will ja da nicht wohnen. Die Bedienungen sind super freundlich, zuvorkommend und entspannt. Von Hektik oder Stress habe ich nichts gemerkt. Bis das Essen kam, hat es etwas gedauert, aber das Restaurant war auch wirklich voll. Von daher vollkommen okay. Die Rechnung kam zackig. Trinkgeld gibt’s dafür immer.

Es hat gut geschmeckt, leider sind wir nicht satt geworden. Das hat nicht zum Preis gepasst. Schade.

Werte Gäste des Johanniter Fahrdienstes aus der Hohendodeleber Straße in Magdeburg, ihre Aussagen sind falsch und beruhen auf ihrer schlechten Wahrnehmung. Wir haben um 22.30 die letzte Runde angesagt und darauf hingewiesen, das sie natürlich bis zum Ende der Schließzeit gerne verweilen können. Ihre Preisangaben sind natürlich Quatsch und jederzeit auf unserer Web-Seite nachlesbar. Unser Restaurant ist liebevoll und intensiv weihnachtlich gestaltet. Wir lieben unseren Beruf noch immer. Leider ist das Verhalten von einigen ihrer Mitarbeitern unterirdisch. Ich werde in den nächsten Tagen eine Anzeige gegen einige ihrer Mitarbeiter veranlassen. Äußerungen, wie " dreckige Vo…." zu unserer Mitarbeiterin oder "Mr. Pan" ist abgebrannt .... , sogar gewalttätig wollte "Mann" werden , müssen wir uns vom Fahrdienst der Johanniter nicht gefallen lassen. Eine weitere Anzeige werde ich gegen ihre Rezessionen veranlassen. Auch Lügen aus Frust und Dummheit werden wir nicht hinnehmen. Inhaber Torsten Schaffranke

Nicht nochmal 23:30 schließzeit um 21:30 wurde bereits der Ausschank von Getränken verweigert. Überfordertes Personal. Das Preisleistungsverhältnis unterirdisch. 4,50€ für 0.4l Sinalco Cola, 6,50€ für ein 3 Kugeln Eis mit bisschen Sahne - überhaupt nicht drapiert oder hübsch angerichtet. Essen einiges war gut und einiges sehr schlecht - kalte Kartoffeln sind noch das kleinere Übel. Keine Weihnachtliches Ambiente. Keine Tischdeko es sah alles etwas lieblos dahin geklatscht aus. Die Service Kräfte waren zum Teil bemüht aber halt etwas überfordert, wer allerdings mit dem Handy während der Arbeit zocken kann der hat nicht genug Arbeit und kann folglich nicht überfordert sein. Schade hatten uns auf einen netten Abend gefreut. Das da einige Kollegen etwas mehr als sauer sind kann ich verstehen

Gute gaststätte, hab ich erstmals besucht,Essen Klasse, Service ebenso. Gern wieder.

Wir sind schon mehrmals, ob mit Freunden oder unseren Kindern hier gewesen und es hat immer sehr gut geschmeckt

Wir waren zu einer Geburtstagsfeier eingeladen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und umsichtig und das Essen war lecker 😋. Was ich sehr positiv fand, dass hier auch Essen gereicht wurde, was wir zu DDR - Zeiten schon gern gegessen haben. Vielen Dank und wir wünschen dem Team alles Gute.

Mega! Spontan was bei Google gesucht und hier gelandet. Diese Perle kam echt unerwartet. So gut hab ich lange nicht gegessen. Preis/Leistung stehen hier in einem extrem guten Verhältnis. Das Personal ist super freundlich und man fühlt sich stets sehr wohl. Hier komme ich gerne wieder!

Dieser Ort ist sehr empfehlenswert. Es erwarten Sie original bayerische Küche und Bierspezialtäten in angenehmer traditioneller Atmosphäre. Man kann sehr gemütlich auf der Terrasse sitzen. Das Mittagessen schmeckt sehr gut. Ein Parkplatz befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Preis- Leistung toll. Ich kannte dieses Lokal noch nicht, obwohl ich schon seit 43 Jahren in Magdeburg lebe. Ein wirklich schönes uhriges Lokal. Ich komme gerne wieder mal vorbei. Es war ein toller Abend. Ein großes Dankeschön an alle Mitarbeiter.

Ich liebe dieses Restaurant! Das Essen schmeckt mega lecker, denn ich liebe deftige/deutsche Küche. Auf Sonderwünsche wird immer eingegangen und das Personal ist super freundlich. Selbst wenn das Restaurant voll ist und man nicht reserviert hat, versucht das Personal das Bestmögliche! Ich gehe dort gerne hin, denn dort ist so schön ungezwungen. Ich fühle mich dort sehr wohl. Auch das Ambiente ist mega, weil dieses Kaschemmenflair klasse. Meinen 40. Geburtstag werde ich definitiv dort feiern, das hab ich mir fest vorgenommen. Liebe Grüße an das gesamte Team!!! Guten Abend, war heute nach dem Einkauf im Großhandel zum ersten aber nicht letzten Mal da. Weiß nicht was manche erwarten wenn sie in eine Gastronomie mit dem Namen gehen... Ambiente und Speisekarte passen zum Namen und Laden. Bayrisch und Vegan oder Vegetarisch passen da auch nicht. Die Semmelknödel waren der Hammer. Wer es so lange in der Gastronomie mit dem Konzept hält brauch auch nicht viel ändern.Es werden nie alle zufrieden sein,wichtig sind ihre Gäste die genau deswegen kommen, wie ich bestimmt auch mal wieder wenn ich im MD bin. Weiter so.

Wir waren das erste mal hier und ganz sicher nicht das letzte mal. SUPER netter, flexibler und freundlicher Service in einem angenehmen Ambiente, ganz zu schweigen von diesen grandiosen Hirschbraten. Macht weiter so 👍🏻

Wir hielten spontan an und mußten feststellen das es bei schönstem Wetter nicht möglich war auf der Terrasse bedient zu werden. Man wieß uns den letzten freien Tisch im inneren der Gaststätte zu.......den oder keinen..... Wir bestellten uns deftigen Würzfleisch,,,,ha ha. Büchse auf, erwärmen und raus. Naja, so schnell sieht man uns nicht wieder.

Gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis & bürgerliche deutsche Küche. Essen (Hamburger Schnitzel) kommt sehr schnell & ist ausreichend auf dem Teller. Vielleicht könnte ein wenig mehr Deko (Salat) dabei sein. 1-2 weitere Schnitzel Gerichte wären ideal. Ist empfehlenswert, bleibt euch treu.

Nette Atmosphäre, super Service, leckeres Essen

Wir waren mit 14 Personen zum Abend da und jeder hat etwas Anderes zum Essen bestellt, es hat allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und der Kellner hatte keine Langeweile, besonderen Dank an ihn. Wir kommen immer wieder gern in den Krug, ob Sommer oder Winter zu jeder Jahreszeit empfehlenswert.

Unfassbar, dass gesunde und getestete Bürger nicht das Restaurant betreten dürfen. Wir werden diese Willkür nicht unterstützen, auch wenn wir nach den Regeln das Restaurant hätten betreten können.

Sehr unfreundlich wurden wir direkt wieder weg geschickt weil wir zu viele waren. Beschreibung gruppengeeignet passt nicht wirklich.

Als ich mit meiner 3-jährigen Tochter um 12.55 Uhr die Gaststätte betrat, wurde ich mit dem Hinweis, dass es noch nicht 13 Uhr sei wieder in den kalten Nieselregen geschickt. Beim erneuten Betreten (zum Warten im Warmen) wurde ich mit den Worten empfangen, ich solle froh sein, dass ich hier überhaupt etwas zu essen bekomme. Bei dem 2. Durchgang des Weihnachtsessens (13 Uhr) waren wir der einzige Tisch mit zwei kleinen Kindern. Das Essen wurde lange Zeit vorher von der speziellen Weihnachtskarte ausgewählt und bestellt. 14.30 Uhr hatten wir dann unser Essen. Überraschungen für die Küche konnte es eigentlich nicht geben. Das Wartenlassen war gewissermaßen pure Bosheit für meine Dreistheit mit meinem Kind im Warmen warten zu wollen.
