Yes, what can I say? If I could I would give even more stars. A really friendly, motivated team that is there to help and advise you. Advice and support if you have any questions about wine and food. Really good wines, the pizza is exceptionally good and all the other food I ate was really very good. The atmosphere in the former workshop is more than cozy and in the cold months you can warm yourself by the workshop stove. I really enjoy being here every time

An interesting location, very friendly staff, delicious wine (Pinot gris) and perhaps the best pizza with Parma ham (not a "bargain", but really worth every euro!). A clear recommendation.

Food average to good, service, well what can I say, you have to pick up your own drinks and order food using your cell phone. Prices are high and there isn't even a beer.

We were there in a group of 20 people. The table was beautifully set when we arrived. The pizza from Pizzafly was very tasty, although the edges were often coal-black. In the end, you have to consider whether the 20 euros for the fly is cheaper than simply ordering a few pizzas regularly. What we didn't like at all was the service. In fact, it took 90 minutes for the first drink. The waiter didn't come particularly often to take on new drink requests. We were really very disappointed. So: food great, restaurant also nice, service a disaster

You feel a bit like you're at a marketing students' shared apartment party in Mitte: You have to go three times around the corner through creepy dark alleys and parking lots, then: Very crowded, very loud, sometimes construction noise, very hip and circling because you are simply THE shop, delicious pizzas, good wine too, unfortunately no wine list (or they couldn't be found): Please people, get organized! "We sat you down at a table with great people" doesn't have to be the case (reservation a week in advance), the great people had the same opinion! The pallet furniture that is too small wobbles and splinters. And if the snobby, fussy service staff doesn't know what can be ordered (yes, this special pizza bread is still available, but it's no longer on the menu) then you're better off going back to the veteran Italian restaurant. Less strenuous: that’s it!

5 stars, BUT, and this is a big fat BUT! I ordered a bottle of wine and it was like they store it next to the pizza oven. 32€ wine bottle should be kept in a wine freezer. Chairs are very uncomfortable. I hope this review helps the owners. The pizza is amazing.

Anyone who loves wine will feel at home here. The selection of wine is simply huge. Regional beer is also offered. On my last visit I ordered a pizza. This is easy to do by ordering via QR code. Payment is made via the app. Basta also offers various themed evenings such as “Best Leftovers”. The location is something very special.

It was just a stupid experience. My friends made it quite nice but that was it. Waited for 2 hours in total for the food (Friday evening I understand that it takes longer but I still don't see it). Wine was good but completely overpriced: we had a wine that would otherwise cost €9 in retail and €25 there!!! Also this: Completely understandable that it is a little more expensive but a whole €16 more expensive??? I DON'T SEE IT! The edge of the pizza was burnt but the parts that weren't charred were quite tasty.. in short: for 2 hours of waiting I would have still wished for more.. do something better with your money

There is a great atmosphere in “Basta”. On Mondays there is a DJ to set the mood and there is live music. The food portions are large, but the prices are rather high. The wine is very tasty, there is a large selection. 1 star deduction for the service because you have to queue for drinks, when it's full there are big queues.

Unfortunately, the service has deteriorated extremely on our last visits. People are friendly, no question about it. But sometimes drinks are forgotten, no one comes to the table for a long time so that you can order new drinks and food, the starter is forgotten or is often served at the same time as the main course. Yesterday there was also a dirty wine glass. As delicious as the food and wine are there, if the service doesn't work, it won't make up for it at some point. Apart from that, the ambience was really nice, but unfortunately the seating, especially outside, was extremely uncomfortable.

An unusual ambience in a vehicle hall, but a large selection of wines at very fair prices and delicious food. It's not without reason that we're currently IN in Magdeburg.

We had long waiting times, service seemed disorganized, we would have liked to have had something to drink, but no one came to the table and a meal was forgotten. Our pizza was soggy in the middle too. Sorry, that's not how you get customers who come back...

Basta is a great place to enjoy pizza. There is a great selection of pizzas that are not on every menu. The ingredients used are of high quality, which is also noticeable in the taste. We were served very friendly.

That was nothing. In my opinion, you want to portray something that you are not. It's apparently supposed to be an upscale, trendy bar, but there's simply nothing behind it. The facility is cheap, the menu is a joke. The selection is poor, but they don't show off Italian terms on the menu, but they don't even serve a medium-class pizza. The soil is ok at the edge. In the middle it simply doesn't exist, pure mud. But at least expensive🤣🤷🏼‍♂️. I feel really ripped off. Above all, I can't understand how a store like this gets such a rating.... At least the service was very friendly. Big praise for that.

The pizzas were a disgrace for €18.50. The bottom was soggy in the middle and flat in taste. The service either hid or forgot half of it or brought it wrong. The dry rosé was absolutely top and the chocolate rum as a digestive was world class. Regarding the ambience, I would like to say that the seating was uncomfortable for me. I'm almost 2 m tall and strong, so folding chairs are anathema to me. With 6 people for 300€ I just expect more.

It was very tasty and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Respect how you have the entire store under control with 2 main waiters. As already described in other reviews, the waiting times are unfortunately far too long. We waited over an hour for our pizza. Maybe a few fewer tables would solve the problem if the restaurant can't handle the entire capacity of orders. Therefore a star deduction.

You like industrial style or you don't. Purely a matter of taste. We were there on Friday evening. It was full and you should definitely reserve in advance. A few fewer tables would do the overall ambience a lot of good. We sat so close that we felt very cramped. The food, we had pizza, was okay with slightly burnt flavors on the edge. I didn't see any other types of food at the other tables either. The price level can be described as high. Pizza 18€. The starters also double digits. The service was okay if you actively participated in the search for service. My conclusion is that the overall level does not correspond to the price.

Very nice. I liked it. 👍 you have to find this place first. A former car repair shop. Originally rebuilt. A nice place also for the summer.

We were there for the first time yesterday and it won't be the last! The restaurant is great and the employees are very nice!! Everything was great and highly recommended!

There were 15 people who had something to eat there from work. All of the starters we had beforehand were incredibly tasty. Then we were able to snack our way through the Flying Pizza. I just love the location, the wines, the uncomplicated atmosphere and the food there. See you soon 🍷

Disastrous waiting times. Waited well over an hour and a half for a pizza that took 5 minutes in the oven. I can't talk to other people at the table sober for that long. Restaurant was half full… a few empty tables in between. A lot of potential for improvement (process quality!)… a shame… otherwise the pizza was of course delicious and the ambience was good. It can happen that you get lost in the orders. One of the guys who brought the food from the kitchen quickly took care of us! :)

A restaurant that you could only wish for more often in Magdeburg! Stylishly furnished, surrounded by various wine and spirits bottles. A real must for wine lovers! But you also get your money's worth with beer and gin, for example. The competent and friendly staff is available to help and advise you. Truly the highlight is the highly recommended pizza, which is very authentically Italian, even if it gets a bit dark in some places due to the stone oven. There is a pleasantly large selection of pizzas, with something for every taste. The price is a bit more expensive, but it's really worth it because you know what you're getting! Conclusion: Drinks and food are of the highest quality. A real feel-good place where you can forget about time. Tip for music lovers: On Mondays there is always a DJ playing with the best leftovers.

Upon visiting this establishment, I was disappointed. While the quality of the food was average, the service left much to be desired. However, the atmosphere was quite pleasant. The particularly negative aspect was the lengthy wait for the dishes, which exceeded 40-50 minutes. Overall, the experience at this venue was unsatisfactory.

Always delicious, pizza is sometimes slightly burnt and needs to be thickened a bit at sub-zero temperatures...

We always come here because of the delicious pizza. The wines also taste really good, but are really quite expensive. We only afford more than 1-2 glasses of wine on “Best Leftovers” Monday, when the wine is a little cheaper :)

Gute Pizza. Grosse Weinauswahl, guter Alkoholfreier Wein.

Essen im Restaurant ist sehr gefährlich durch die überall rumstehenden, sehr hochpreisigen Weinflaschen. Stößt der Gast eine um, darf er sie bezahlen. Es gibt ausschließlich Pizza, auf die man, wenn viele Leute da sind, sehr lange warten muss, da es nur eine begrenzte Anzahl Öfen gibt.

Sehr coole Location, kannte ich bislang noch nicht. War an einem Montag da und ich muss sagen, dass es sehr gut besucht war. Getränke werden an der Theke bestellt, eigenständig zum Platz mitgenommen und auch direkt bezahlt. Genauso wird es mit dem Essen gehandhabt, wird jedoch dann an den Tisch gebracht. Hat mir gut gefallen

Ein Ort zum Verweilen. Entspannte Atmosphäre, unendliche Auswahl an Wein und super lieber Service. Die Pizzen überzeugen geschmacklich IMMER! Ein absolutes Muss, für jeden Magdeburger.

War gestern zum ersten Mal im Basta. und bin total begeistert. Es war wirklich perfekt. Tolle Location, megaliebes Personal, superleckere Neapolitanische Pizzen (Mo, du bist ein Juwel!) und sehr leckerer Wein. Freue mich schon auf den nächsten Besuch!!!

Tolle Location mit einem super netten Team. Die Pizza ist sehr empfehlenswert. Das Basta befindet sich in einer ehemaligen Trabbi-Werkstatt die noch (fast) im Original Zustand ist. Ein Stück Zeitgeschichte das unbedingt erhalten werden sollte!

Der Wein ist sehr lecker und die Pizzen mit den Dips für den Rand ein Träumchen!!! Sehr empfehlenswert!

Used to be a usual here, but since it got popular service has gone really bad! Pizzas were served cold and really bad treatment by the staff!! The second star is only because they know how to make pizza… Never coming back there again

Beste Pizza, die ich bisher gegessen habe! Die Location ist super schön und die Kellner:innen immer sehr lieb und aufmerksam. Der Knoblauch-Dip für den Pizzarand ist sehr zu empfehlen;)

Wir waren montags im Basta. und fanden das Konzept mit der "beschränkten" Weinauswahl, da nur aus geöffneten Flaschen, gut. Mir gefiel das Ambiente drin und draußen, es ist einfach mal was anderes und neues in Magdeburg. Leider wurde auf Grund eines technischen Problems unsere Pizza-Bestellung vergessen. Fehler passieren, aber hier wurde wirklich sofort freundlich und kundenorientiert reagiert. Die Pizzen haben dann auch fantastisch geschmeckt. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein Glücksfall für Magdeburg. Außergewöhnlich gutes Essen, die besten Pizzen Magdeburgs. Und ich finde toll, dass hier Haltung gezeigt wird gegen Rechts.

Sehr schöne Location, nettes und junges Personal. Haben hier zu später Stunde einen Druck zu uns gekommen, zum Essen kann ich nichts sagen. Für einen Montagabend war hier recht viel los. Hippe, trendige Weinbar!

Einen Besuch wert.Das essen war super.Die Wein Auswahl fantastisch. Es ist nur sehr laut dort.

Szenelokal. Sehr gut besucht. Beim "Montagskonzept" muss man sich Essen und Getränke am Tresen bestellen und holen. Personal bemüht, aber voelllig überlastet. Dadurch extrem lange Wartezeiten (20 min für 1 Glas Wein). Beim Wein bekommt man nicht den, den man will, sondern den, der gerade offen ist. Die Pizza ist unterdurchschnittlich.

Wir mögen das Basta und kommen gern mit Freund*innen, auch zu den BestenResten. Unbedingt reservieren! Wein und Essen lecker, Service hatte gut zu tun und einige kleine Missverständnisse konnten wir dann im englischen ausräumen, Pizza ist immer perfekt 🤩 Vorspeisen sind etwa für den kleinen Hunger😉

Also als erstes 21.00 Uhr Küchenschluss. Laut Kellner!!! Traurig 😢 man bekam zwar noch irgendwie, was, was weg soll ?!?! Standardmixgetränke waren auch nicht zu bekommen. Und komischer Weise gab es auch nach 22.00 Uhr noch Pizza für Gäste aber keine Vegane für uns. TEIG, Sauce, Zwiebeln und Rucola wären jetzt auch nicht das Ding. Meine Pizza die irgendwie noch irgendwie da war hat aber sehr gut geschmeckt.

Ein toller Ort zum essen, lecker Wein trinken und verweilen. Die Bedienung bestand aus motivierten, jungen, herzlichen Leuten. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Preis-Leistung völlig angemessen.

Positiv: es ist mal eine andere Location und das Personal ist sehr freundlich. Leider sprach mich das Ambiente überhaupt nicht an und die Sitzgelegenheiten laden nicht gerade zum Verweilen ein. Dies ist nur meine subjektive Meinung. Leider gab es auch einige negative Erfahrungen. Die Pizza war sehr "mager" belegt und an vielen Stellen stark verbrannt. Den zum Essen bestellten Wein bekamen wir nach dem Essen. Auch wenn man über Geld nicht spricht, wäre es schön, wenn es für die Getränke, einschließlich der Weine, eine Preisübersicht gäbe.

Although the food is very good, the waiting time is OUTRAGEOUS!!! We waited 30min to get seated at our table after paying upfront. And then had to wait over an hour to receive our food. This is simply not acceptable for an establishment of higher standing.

Tolles Lokal mit sehr guten Service . Ausgewöhnliches Ambiente. Spontan eine Weinprobe erhalten und ein paar nette Weine gefunden. Einfach alles super!

Had a great evening at Basta. Food wise this could definitely be 5 stars. Best pizza I’ve had in Magdeburg for sure. And its a big plus for me they have a vegan pizza on the menu! Drinks menu is creative and tasty. Service is friendly but slow. They could definitely improve on that.

Perfekt war's. Die Pizzen herausragend, der Wein perfekt. Das Personal super freundlich und aufgeschlossen. Diese gewisse Überheblichkeit, die nicht ganz so selten in Verbindung mit Weinverkauf spürbar sein kann, fehlt hier völlig... sehr angenehm! Das Ambiente besonders, abgeranzter Alte-Werkstatt-Charme in Kombination mit gutem Essen, gutem Wein und schönen Menschen, das funktioniert und harmoniert perfekt auch draußen ist's so... deshalb klare Besuchsempehlung für alle die Pizza und Wein mögen. Auch zum Mitnehmen oder einfach zum Wein kaufen.

Toller Laden, super Pizza und großartige Weine, leider ist die Musik viel zu laut und eher unpassend gewählt für das Ambiente.

Meinen 70. hier mit Verwandten, Musikernkollegen und Freunden (etwa 50 P.) gefeiert. Super Getränke (Basta auch Weinhandlung, Spirituosen) und sehr gute Pizzen aus dem Nebenraum auf den Tisch. Sehr engagierte Inhaber und Mitarbeiter und Angestellte. Es war ein gelungener Abend, ich braucht nichts tun als feiern. Gern wieder!
