The food was okay, even if it didn't always come as ordered. The service was slow, and when you ordered, half of it was usually missing. The friendliness varied from staff to staff. I've been here several times and haven't been satisfied on several occasions.

Nice restaurant in a good location. The service could be a bit faster, but the food is very good. There's a smaller lunch menu with reasonable prices. There's good seating inside and outside. The outdoor area isn't noisy despite its proximity to the main road.

A few weeks ago: Unfortunately disappointing. I visited the restaurant again after years, after it received a new coat of paint some time ago, which I really like. The website looks very tidy and modern. Restrooms: The women's restrooms had a strong smell and didn't seem clean. Food & Prices: I love Metaxa sauce, but why does every dish with this sauce also contain mushrooms? Upon looking at the menu, we immediately noticed the high prices, which suggest they represent excellent service, high-quality furnishings, and first-class food. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. Initially, there was only one warm ouzo. When I pointed out to the waitress that the ouzo was warm, she simply replied that it had come from the refrigerator. As we left, she rolled her eyes. By the way, we only had one ouzo – the first Greek restaurant I know that serves only one ouzo. We were pleasantly surprised by the appetizer plate for two that we ordered. It was beautifully presented and already filled us up nicely. That was a good thing, because the main course was disappointing. I had three different fillets with fries. For €28.50, I expected a bit more – or at least a special taste experience that justified the price. The fries were unsalted, and the meat, which was very thin, could have been taken off the grill a little earlier. Speaking of thin: My companion ordered a rump steak – also for €28.50. The meat looked like a thin pork schnitzel. A rump steak that doesn't look like a rump steak is a disappointment. It was ordered medium rare. However, after cutting into it, it was clearly visible that it was cooked all the way through. After we complained, the chef told us that the chef could only prepare the steak that way and that we should choose something else – he wouldn't prepare that dish again. We politely declined. Finally, we tried the house wine. My companion didn't like it – but as we all know, tastes differ. I rarely drink wine myself and, while I've had better ones, I wouldn't rate the taste as so-so. Service: I would have expected more from the service as well. Conclusion: Go there and experience it for yourself. Personally, I won't eat there again for at least a few years and hope that things will have improved by then.

Favorite Greek in Magdeburg. Over and over again with pleasure.

The restaurant makes an appealing impression at first glance. Unfortunately, the music is a bit loud and not Greek, which makes table conversations seem all the louder. Beer is only available in 0.4 liters; you can't get any smaller. Most dishes come with fried potatoes or rice. We opted for fried potatoes and were all told, one after the other, that fried potatoes were fries. Then just write fries on the menu and remove pictures from your website that show fried potatoes. The salad we had at the start was swimming in dressing. Probably better, as the brown bits weren't visible that way. We ordered tagliatelle with tomato sauce for our child. We got linguine, which is very difficult for a child to eat. Some of the liver was very tough and inedible. The portion size was a joke. I never eat much, but at a Greek restaurant I'm always full before the plate is empty. Here, apart from the inedible pieces of liver, the plate was empty before I was full. We probably won't come back, which is a shame; it used to be good here.

The food was truly delicious. Unfortunately, the service wasn't very attentive. There was no question about whether we wanted another drink. We sat there for ages with empty plates, and it took quite a while to get the bill, even though there were only three tables occupied that evening.

Quite disappointing. Flavor enhancers predominate in the dishes.

The service was good. Fast and polite! The skin of the salmon fillet was burnt and therefore dry, the liver was tough and a little too cold. Overall, small portions and unfortunately carelessly prepared.

Food, well, the food was rather cold. The service was subpar. You don't dare ask, let alone push tables together for several people. You also couldn't pay with EC/credit card. The ambience on a main street does the rest - never again!

I've never experienced anything like that! At the beginning we received 6 ouzo that we had not ordered independently. Two of those present don't even drink alcohol. However, this was later added to our bill at €2.50. The food was ok. I missed fresh bread with my tzatziki, unfortunately there was only soggy pita bread. The waitress was too rarely at the table to ask for more drinks. All in all, not a visit worth mentioning. There was no ouzo with the bill either. Would probably have made 6x €2.50 again.

We enjoyed eating there from time to time. It actually always tasted really good. The only reason why we no longer go here is because card payments are no longer possible. Maybe that will change again and we would go there again. Unfortunately, not accepting card payments is no longer appropriate.

I suspect the owners are new. It tasted better before and the staff was friendlier. Restaurant almost empty and a guest who was enjoying his beer next to us was sent away because he hadn't eaten anything. Overall, unfortunately, things have gotten a lot worse.

I have places for August 16th on August 12th, 2024. ordered. On August 16th Unfortunately we found ourselves in front of a closed door. There were craftsmen in the restaurant. Am very disappointed

Disappointed 😞 it used to be delicious food... liver dry gyros and chicken breast lukewarm! Cretan potatoes were fries with bechamel...no ouzo for free.

Unfortunately a bit disappointed. Drinks were forgotten. There wasn't even an ouzo. No greeting from the kitchen. Everything is a bit disorganized. Nice, but somehow not professional. Unfortunately we didn't ask whether the lamb or the steak should be medium etc and both came out a bit bloody, but we forgot to say that. It wasn't that nice. Could be improved. I don't like blood juice running through the sauce.

Restaurant can only be recommended. Food (pork loin in Metaxa sauce) was great, very friendly service and fair prices. Coming back is guaranteed

Had reserved a table in the evening. We were warmly welcomed and the drinks were served quickly. The starters came very quickly, the garlic bread was good except for the dried herbs and the feta cheese al forno was really tasty. The main course was a complete failure. The pared plaice was frozen, the grilled vegetables were bland and oily. The grill plate had an ok gyros but dry, burnt chicken and a very dry Greek boulette. The tzatzikki wasn't homemade and in general it tasted more like a garden barbecue party than Greek. The service was friendly, quick and accommodating.

The lamb was as hard as a board and the zucchini was drowned in fat. There was no response to the complaint. Never again.

They cook very tasty. Very friendly staff. Everything is fast and high-quality!!! Prices are moderate, not expensive) I will come more than once! Highly recommend!

We went there for dinner with friends. The selection was very good. The food was delicious and definitely enjoyed by everyone. We had a lovely time in the restaurant and will definitely be back soon!

I just say - simply great. We got married on January 11th, 2024 and were there as a couple that evening. Everything fit together. It was our first time there and we would love to come back!!!

It was very busy in the evening and the waiters were busy. But with a little patience they came to you when you wanted something from them. The food was great as always.

Mit dem aktuellen Betreiber hat das Restaurant Poseidon wieder richtig gewonnen. Die Mitarbeiter sind freundlich, dass Essen ist lecker. und für uns das Highlight bei Essen war der fehlende Schnaps nachdem Essen. Dafür gab es richtig lecker aufgeschnittene Melonen und eine kleine Süßspeise.

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant. Das Personal war sehr freundlich trotz der vielen Gäste zu Weihnachten. Ich kann es sehr empfehlen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und reichlich.

Es hat gut geschmeckt und da es an einem Wochentag war, gab es auch eine Mittagskarte. Gern wieder

Wir waren schon des öfteren hier zum Essen. Es ist ein sehr schönes Restaurant mit netter Bedienung und super leckeres Essen . Mein Bruder aus Rostock war zu Besuch,er war von dem Gyros total begeistert. Die Bedienung ist sehr flott. Das Restaurant ist auch gut mit Bus oder Strassenbahn zu erreichen. Es war ein wiedermal schöner Abend mit der Familie.

Sehr zügige Bedienung die Kalamaria ist ganz ok aber die Filletplatte ist einwandfrei auch wenn ich nicht weiß warum da kein Zaziki bei ist.

Nach der angenehmen Ambiente und gutes Essen waren wir - eine Gruppe von einzelnen Fortbildungsteilnehmer aus unterschiedlichen Städten - enttäuscht und verärgert, als es hieß, es sei nicht möglich, einzelne Bewirtungsbelege auszustellen. Während ein junger Servicemitarbeiter sichtlich bemüht war und es sehr bedauerte, dass das Kassensystem des Restaurants dies nicht hergibt, reagierte eine Servicemitarbeiterin recht ablehnend und unfreundlich. Das sorgte unnötig für Ärger nach dem eigentlich schönen Abend. Hoffentlich liest dies der Restaurantchef und sorgt für zukünftig für entsprechende Korrektur.

Ein sehr netter Service mit sehr leckeren Essen! Wir waren nun mehrmals da, der Service ist sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Das Essen und vor allem das Fleisch hat eine super Qualität. Immer wieder gerne 🙏!! Zu empfehlen!

Das Essen war gut. Preis - Leistung ist gerade noch vertretbar (schon eher teuer). Leider ist es hier nicht möglich, Gerichte zu kombinieren. Die Bedienung war äußerst freundlich und angenehm!

Freundliches Personal und leckeres Essen.

In diesem griechischen Restaurant läuft vieles, richtig gut! Angefangen bei der telefonischen Reservierung. Hier fühlt man sich als Gast schon herzlichst eingeladen. Vor Ort ist der Service immer zuvorkommend, auf zack, gut gelaunt und stets freundlich. Die Qualität an Speisen und Getränken sind super! Preislich dadurch, logischerweise, etwas teurer. Aber man ist hier auch nicht in einer Imbissbude. Denn das Ambiente samt musikalischer Untermalung, lässt ein Wissen, wo man sich gerade befindet ;) Ob Mittag oder Abendbrot, hier wird man glücklich satt!

Gutes solides griechisches Essen. So wie es sein soll. Gute Portionen. Netter zuvorkommender Service. Noch ein bisschen am Ambiente gefeilt und dann wäre es perfekt. Gerne wieder.

Schnelle und freundliche Bedienung, und auch die bestellten Gerichte haben uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Ich muss beim nächsten Aufenthalt fragen, ob es hier auch Senioren-Portionen gibt!

Ωραία ατμόσφαιρα, καλό σέρβις, και πάνω από όλα το φαΐ πολύ νόστιμο.

Wir waren spontan mit 2 Erw. und 2 Kindern Abendessen. Im Restaurant waren zahlreiche Familien, sodass auch wir uns wohlgefühlt haben. Essen und Getränke kamen zügig und waren geschmacklich sehr gut. Auch die Portionen hatten eine gute Größe. Service hat auch gepasst. Weiterempfehlung!

Waren gestern im Poseidon zum Abendessen. Das Personal war freundlich aber leider war das Essen nicht ganz perfekt wie man es sich vorstellt und erst recht sollte es nach dem es auch teurer geworden ist wofür man ja auch Verständnis hat nicht an der Qualität leider. Die Pommes waren nicht richtig durch und das Hähnchenfleisch sehr knorpelig und fettig. Sehr schade. Aber bei den Preisen heutzutage kann man schon perfektes Essen erwarten. Wirklich sehr schade. Werden wohl nicht nochmal kommen

Essen war sehr lecker. Personal war aufmerksam und freundlich. Preise sind vielleicht 1-2€ zu hoch für meinen Geschmack. Kommen aber gerne wieder.

Wohl einer der schlechteren Griechen! Zum Service kann man sagen: warten... auf die Karte, auf das Abräumen, das Trinken, das Essen Das Fleisch Suzuki/Suflaki halb roh. Gyros, ganz kleine Stückchen nicht frisch geschnitten, verölt aus der Pfanne und maximal versalzen. Ich hab extra Gyros bestellt, aber nicht bekommen. Speisenzusammenstellung war anders, aber nicht gut. Ambiente okay, aber ich möchte nicht noch mal hin. Preise für die Portion zu hoch.

Absolut empfehlenswert, gutes Essen und super Service.
